Hi, François here… Let me take you on a journey. And trust me, it will be a journey to remember! It all started a few months ago…
Sally and I were happy in her salon. Being beauticians, making girls pretty… business was booming! That all changed when her “best friend” (hah!) April came around, offering Sally a “chance of a lifetime”. Sally, bless her, chooses only to see the good in people and actually listened to April. Next thing you know, she’s sold her salon and used all her savings to become co-owner of Happyville, a luxurious spa.
And that’s when the real chaos started… April is fixated on earning a Mirage star for the spa and is willing to do any- and everything to get one! Sally doggedly insists April isn’t as bad as she looks. I’m sorry, but if it looks like a snake and slithers like a snake, well… but that’s just MY opinion!
Please come help me talk some sense into Sally. With your help, I’m sure it will be okay in the end!

BEST ONE YET!
I also have played them all and took my time playing this one, so I could savor every minute. I hate waiting for others and check every day! Great graphics, FUNNY, just like normal backstabbing people it seems, ha ha. Loved having more to do in each scene and liked the helpers too. I didn’t understand why we got so many diamonds when we got an award only because we ran out of things to spend them on. Loved buying speed and things for the helpers. I kept replaying the last scene cause it didn’t give me a diamond like I had cleared the level. It did give it to me afterwards, but was different than the rest giving it to you right then is all. Please have a different ending or special party by how many awards and games you finished with 3 stars etc. I liked having some hidden things to find in some of the other games, but really loved having more to think about. THANK YOU AND YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME THINKERS AND GAMERS!!
Five Stars
It took me a few days to finish the complete game due to my son graduating high school. 🙌🏾😊🎊 I will say that when I did finish it I was very pleased. The graphics were out of this world. The storyline was funny to me. 🤣 I enjoy the fact that I can play this game more than once and change it up due to the “helper”. It does make the game seem longer bc of the challenges and the story. I think you all did a great job. I can’t wait for Emily to reappear with this same content. I’m also missing one of my favorite games, Hearts Medicine, to come back with a full makeover. I appreciate all the hard work that you all put into these games. I know it isn’t easy but I pray you figure out how to bring them out a little faster. 🙏🏾 It is definitely a mental meditation for me. Job well done! ❤️💯
Gameplay just keeps getting better!
I’m going to start by saying I am a very logical, technical minded person who double face-palmed through the entire story. It was just too extreme for me and I did not enjoy it very much at all. (and yet the plant is my favourite character!? I hope Plant is here to stay) HOWEVER, I think it’s great that there is so much variety in the games from these devs. There truly is something for everyone. Personal preferences aside, the gameplay was awesome, and the execution of the story was beautifully done. I really like all the new features, and there wasn’t a mini-game I didn’t like. Even if I did get tired of one, I liked having a helper that could eventually take over that for you. Another thing I want to mention is the option to pick what your salon upgrade is going to be. I can’t wait to see what this will mean for future games! The artists and programmers and everyone on this game worked really hard, and it really shows. One of the biggest things I like about this game is that you can practically feel all the love and joy that they put into it, and so I think that is why anyone can enjoy playing it. No matter what your sense of humour is. 👍🏼
Finally a decent plot for Gamehouse again
Gamehouse games writing is generally annoying, with the dialogue of characters like Emily becoming gradually unbearable to read. I hate the decisions they make, and I generally just skip to the actual time management play. But the writing in this game was really funny and irreverent! Ridiculous plot that was amusing to read, with a main character that you aren’t supposed to respect anyway, so it’s worth reading. Hope whoever wrote this one gets to do more. Also the actual time management, while still too easy even on “expert”, had diverse enough tasks that it was fun to play. More like this one, and less maudlin boring plots please!! And maybe a more difficult expert setting too?
Great game!
The gameplay is super fun, the design was fantastic. I liked the animated cutscenes, very stylish. My only criticism is the storyline, more beastly women being rude. Didn’t this just happen in Dr Cares? Conniving backstabbing women is kind of getting tired. I’d like to see different kinds of stories like when Emily found true love or went on her honeymoon or found her missing grandfather. Those were fun without a lot of mean antagonism and people trying to kill each other. Otherwise it was really great and I have to thank you guys for actually listening and putting the difficulty settings in this game. I won’t buy anymore games without them and have long been asking for them so it’s nice to see them again.
Best Gamehouse game in awhile
I love time management games and Gamehouse games in particular. This game is one of the better ones because it is much more like the original Sally games from about a decade ago. (The customer voices are even the same.) The storyline was silly and over the top with very adult humor but I really liked it. The diamond purchases went towards helper upgrades which I like a lot better than just in game decorations. The only issue for me was that even on the expert setting, getting 3 stars on the first go round was easy. Loved it anyway! Better than a lot of games Gamehouse has been putting out recently. Thanks! PS- Why can’t I access my old Emily games anymore? I am on IOS.
Hysterically funny!
It's been a LONG time since I loved GameHouse characters as much as I do these. Sally is still dippy and painfully naive--I can't figure out how she got to be forty-something and still be so innocent and unworldly. But Francois has undergone a transition. In the last game, he was extraordinarily annoying. In this game, he's transformed into a really, really snarky adult. He's the perfect antidote to Sally's sweetness. The humor is fantastic. This is the first GameHouse game that made me laugh out loud. The music is upbeat, not cloying and angsty like it has been in way too many of the latest GameHouse offerings. The game has three difficulty levels from which to choose. It's nice to see that GameHouse listens and responds to its fans! The gameplay is smooth. There are an array of mini-games and a variety of ways to earn diamonds. The game looks beautiful, as all the GameHouse games do. This is the first game since Emily's Hopes and Fears that I can see myself replaying just for the sheer joy of it. The game is well worth the price, given the replayability and the number of levels. Thank you, GameHouse, for giving us a great game!
Beautiful game and lovely graphics
I really love how the sound FX are the original ones from the first couple of games. That’s a very nice touch and also not having to clean all the stations every time. One minor complaint is that I’m on level 28 and Sally bugged out when I clicked the lemon pitcher and she kept putting out cups and it wouldn’t stop and the past few levels before this it would go from 6 cups of water and lemonade to 9 cups. And walking speed kept changing. She would be really slow and now on level 28 she’s fast. She’s suppose to be at 40% walking speed so it’s pretty fast. And level 28 walking speed is like being on coffee the whole level.
Buy It!
Storyline is wacky and a teensy bit hard to follow, but you can tell the writers had a lot of fun. COMPLETE improvement over the last Sally game I played. They made it like Heart’s Medicine which is just awesome. Control is perfect, music is great, graphics are awesome (wow they did 3d CGI! Right on guys we see you!) gameplay is addictive and fun. Just like every other game that GameHouse makes, they prove to you why it’s worth $10– and imo it’s worth $10(I don’t mean that as a burn lol ten bucks is a lot for a phone game to me). ALSO this company doesn’t make you constantly shell out more money to advance!! Just $10, and there is still a system of legit upgrades so that adds to the fun.
Fun Game With Ridiculous Storyline
I have played all of the Sally Salon games. I took off a star because the stories are ridiculously stupid. You’ll laugh at some of it, but most of it is unbelievably stupid. You’ll know what I mean when you play it. Pros: It’s free! This might be the best one yet! It takes all the successes of the previous games and also adds more mini games to it. The graphics is awesome and the game plays well. (Although I have seen one or two small glitches). The game generously gives out Diamonds and ways to make more Diamonds for upgrades. The challenges vary within each chapter and levels. For some it might not be challenging enough, but the bright side is there are more chapters and levels to play! Cons: The stories are ridiculous and unbelievable and plays like a soap opera / cartoon / slapstick comedy. It is strange indeed. There is innuendo in the dialogue, so I won’t recommend it to young kids. College age would be best. Also, there’s a mini game where you make cocktails, so it makes more sense not to let the kids play this game, as well as many other things happening in this game (you will see what I mean). I don’t hate that the game is long, but there are stories for each level and that’s annoying. I guess you can always skip, but for first time players, you might wanna see how stupidly these stories play out.
Stole my money!
This game was really fun an addicting, so much so that I actually spent money for an online game which I never do specifically for reasons like this. It asks if you want to spend 1.99 to unlock 20 levels (even though your already at level ten so your spending 2 dollars to play ten more levels and probably pay again). But I decided to spend the money anyway so I could continue enjoying my game. My payment processes and I get a notification that it was successful. When I went back to the game the levels weren’t unlocked and it was asking me to pay the 1.99 again to unlock them! And restarted the game and the same thing happened. When I checked my online statement not only was I charged but I was charged $5.29 for something I didn’t even get and was not that price. This game is a scam and I definitely would not download it or atleast don’t spend any money on it.
A bit pricey!
I like all sally’s games. Actually i got all of them even the really old Sally’s salon! But this new one is pretty pricey. My star rating actually is more about the price and not about the game itself because the game is good! So I bought the first 20 levels and finished it pretty quickly. Now im trying to get the next levels but its making me pay the first 40 levels! I mean...i already bought the first 20 levels. So why make me pay the first 20 levels again?! Its like tricking the consumers. There should be a way to buy the next levels. For example, there should be a way to pick the levels to buy. Either per 10 upcoming levels like 21-30 or per the next 20 levels like 21-40. The price of course can differ depending on how many levels you want to get! I dont have a problem to pay for the levels because i do enjoy playing it. But dont make me pay for the same levels again!!! 😒
Eh
Ok, I used to love Sally’s spa so I thought this game would be fun. Well.... it is... sort of. The gameplay itself is just like every other one of their games, except in a salon. Which is fine because I normally enjoy these games. However, the thing that really bothers me with this game are the character designs and animation. Sally looks SO bad. I really hate her redesign, and her new personality. She’s really unlikeable, which is a bad thing considering she’s the main character. She’s very annoying and makes stupid decisions. The cutscene animations aren’t awful, but not good. Every characters features are exaggerated resulting in a gross 3D look. Also... the jokes in this game are SO BAD. seriously, you guys need some new writers or you obviously aren’t trying. I mean, it’s an ok game to play when you’re bored but looking at it from an artistic view, it’s pretty bad.
I purchased this game and it won’t let me play
I love gamehouse games. Love the stories and the gameplay. But there continues to be a problem with purchasing. I purchased this game for 9.99. Yet it won’t let me go beyond level 4 where it asks if I want to purchase or join the “club.” The club sounds great, except I already own all the games I’d have access to. This is not the first time I’ve run into a problem with purchasing a game and then not being able to play. I had the same issue with Emily’s mom’s vs dad’s. I think I might have double paid, but I don’t actually know. I was looking to replay the previous Sally’s Salon game (where she searches for her “love” a famous singer) which I purchased - and now it’s asking me to purchase again, I guess, in order to play. This is extremely frustrating and I’d really like to play this game that I bought.
