Cut the Rope: Magic Wiki

I think that cut the rope is a fantastic game and is worth a try. I love Cut the Rope games because of the cute characters and not having to many ads. One improvement that could be made in the games is adding more elements like spider webs, land mines, and other things like that. Other than that, this game is super fun!

I have not bin play that long but I already like it. There are so many things to like about it, such as how there are so many levels to choose. Also wen you buy it you get no ads, unlimited life, etc. I like this game a lot and you most likely will to.

Honestly a great game and idea and execution. Cut the rope magic is a great addition to cut the rope bringing a new feel to the game and still keeping the over all premise of the game in mind. One of my favorite games of all time!

Cut in the rope magic was the last amazing franchise to ever exist for a 6 year old game and it had a lot of interesting levels, designs and powers that we can use to get to the candy but there’s a problems with ads and crashes but more problem is the crashing because I got a lot of crashes in this game and the game has never been touched nor fixed so yeah giving it for 4 star for classic but with too many crashes

I love this game series I’ve been obsessed with it for the past couple of days but yesterday I got some issues. Every time I pressed the ad button or get free hint button or just pressing the next level button it would kick me out, and when I re open the app it makes me start over the whole level. :( really upset by this, I deleted the app and reinstalled it, I’ll update if anything changes

Beautiful imagery, fun and challenging:) definitely must spend the $2.99 to avoid the almost constant ads and videos other wise. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars- but hey, I bought the game somI guess their plan worked ... this time. I usually won’t spend more than a few minutes on a game with this many ads but my 4 year old loves it and I got hooked ... worth the buy :)

Very fun well it lasts but it’s over too soon and I don’t really want to spend money to unlock the next level. Once you get to the fish mode, it costs like 500 crystals but you don’t earn crystals easily and when you do earn it, you don’t earn a lot. So there are two ways you can play this game : - You can download it for free and just play until you finish the shrink mode and the fly mode then delete it (like me) - Or, you can download it, prepared to pay money to complete all the modes

Cut the Rope: Magic is an overall good game. There are many unique mechanics such as turning Om-Nom small, the antagonist (Wizard Spider), and the modernized graphics compared to older Cut the Rope games. I would have rated it a 4 out of 5 or even a 5 out of 5 stars, but the reason why it is held back at a 3 out of 5 is because of how limited the gameplay is. Om-Nom tends to get full too quickly and it takes a while for him to completely regain his appetite. Om-Nom’s appetite system doesn’t mean that the game is absolutely terrible though; I still enjoy playing it whenever Om-Nom is hungry due to the previously mentioned factors it has. It is diverse, it is formatted similarly to Cut the Rope 2, and I also enjoy upsetting the Wizard Spider when I succeed to give the candy to Om-Nom. This game is overall fun and unique and I feel like the rating I gave it is well-deserved.

There are so many ads that you have to sit through that have no x or stop playing video. Also you only have so much energy so once you finish around three levels then you have to wait 20 minuets. They are always sending reminders to packages I could get, SO ANNOYING. All of these problems are because of them wanting to make money off of me, but I stick through the annoying stuff because of this sorta fun game.

Ideas used in this game were very needed since the gameplay of the whole series was getting very repetitive. But there are problems, too. Some gameplay bugs are very noticeable. And what’s up with all the ads ???? There is an energy limit and gems to buy help. So why ads ? And a lot of it. After each game you see an ad and it’s compulsory! Really annoying.

The ads (and there are a ton) are NOT AGE APPROPRIATE for the game!!! If you purchase the app, you're fine. But if you download the free version, expect your kids to witness snipers blowing people's heads off (blood sprays out after the head is shot), characters and people getting killed, tortured,chopped up, burned alive, stabbed, blown up, and blood spraying. There's also an ad that shows a woman using magic to make her breasts larger (in case you're cornered with young impressionable girls being concerned with body image or just flat out don't want your kids to see that). As far as the game itself, it's fun and age appropriate. Just pay for the game if your kids are playing it so they don't see the ads (that pop up every 7-8 seconds or so if you're playing continuously). The least they could do for a kids game is make the ads kid appropriate. They need to step up on this!

So, I have been playing cut the rope for years. I have played every version there is. I love this game, except, this time, i redowloaded the game and ended up paying the 2.99 for it. Fine. But problem is, I can’t get to the third page of the book because no matter how many levels I go back and collect all 3 starts for, it continues to tell me that I have to collect 86 more stars to continue on. At this point, I am only missing about 5 starts to have full 3 stars on every level. I am not sure if the game is glitched or what the issue is but I’m not paying 20 dollars to be able to play the rest of the game. Hopefully developers you can help me with a solution to this.

Just got this game for my daughters and am promptly un-installing due to this “kick the buddy” ad that is basically the only ad that comes up. I find this ad, which displays taking chain saws, cleavers, and other forms of weaponry to a stuffed doll looking thing, in order to earn money...disturbing, unnecessary and completely inappropriate! Some may say it’s fine because it shows no blood but I think that makes it worse. What does this type of garbage portray to children? My daughters will just have to get over how cute Om Nom is because they will no longer be playing Cut The Rope games.-

The game would be much more enjoyable if there were fewer ads. Plus, if you turn off your internet to try and escape the ads, the game senses this and punishes you by cutting your energy, so you can only play four levels at a time until your internet's back on! I understand, ads make the game free, but this is just unacceptable, especially considering that EVERY OTHER free Cut the Rope game has similar problems. No, that is not an exaggeration.
