Love this change from all those same word games where you just pick letters in a circle. Very nice that you can redo a round if you hit a dead end without giving up rewards.

Have been playing about a year and love the challenge. But when I played today all my points were gone. Also my sign in name is not me. What gives?

This is a new version. I have been playing this game for years and this version will be happily added to my collection! Great job on making this game.

It starts out easy, but gets more challenging as you level up. This is what makes the game so interesting and fun to play, especially if you are a wordsmith. James

Love the daily challenges! Do wish there was a way to hold a letter on the side until you need it.

When I started playing this new version, I was a bit frustrated getting used to the new format. Once I adjusted it I was enjoying the game. Now I am back to being annoyed! I understand the point is to be challenged, but I have been getting levels with 2 Z’s, 5 U’s, 2 V’s, and a Q with no U! Ridiculous!!!

Had I rated the original, I would have given it 5 stars. I HATE THE NEW VERSION!!! I got a new iPad so had to download the current version...it’s awful. I have counted on the prior version of this game for years to help distract me and let go of the craziness of my day. It has helped me sleep much better cuz I don’t go to bed still reviewing the day’s events. With the new version, if I’m stuck and can’t fairly easily work through it, I can’t switch to a new game. That slows me down and I return to reviewing my day, which defeats the entire purpose of the game for me. I’m done. It’s too frustrating now. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE THE OLD VERSION AVAILABLE AGAIN!!! I’ll even PAY for it! And I NEVER pay for games!

It says to make longest words possible (does not say there is a letter limit ie the w. Solitaire, limit 10 letters, I played until this last iOS update [many apps are no longer compatible]. So when I use a wild card to spell “paranormality”, it allows me to stack letters until I try to slide y over, of which it won’t allow. So now, I’m stuck trying to make another word using the wild card letter I selected to spell “paranormality”! Sometimes it allows me to spell 10, 11, 12 letter words & sometimes it doesn’t & it disallows the word only when you get ready to place the last letter. (And yes, paranormality is a word).

The original version seemed like there were real people behind it. I liked their quotes and comments. I guess they sold out, in more ways than one. I hate playing in portrait mode. How hard can it be to make it turnable? I hate the childish look. But the main thing I miss is the list of top words and scores I had earned. Now I kind of feel like “what’s the point?” But since the bad reviews go back 3 years I guess there is no hope for a return to what was my favorite game.

What a horrible cheap, junk-filled substitute for a formerly elegant game. I have a played the old game (far too much!) for around 10 years. Everyone I know loved it. Why on earth they felt the need to redesign as a gaudy 3-ring circus of bad graphics and junk is beyond me. Perhaps they were able to monitize it more. I don’t know - I didn’t stick around to find out. I erased it. The old one still exists, but now crashes a lot. I’ll play it until it’s unplayable and then say “Farewell “ to a great app.

I downloaded this game many years ago and it was much cleaner. It didn’t have tha casino table background, nor the cowboy like font on the cards. And I don’t know what’s up with the earning and trading of gems and jewels. Ughh! So annoying. I can’t even see where to push to start a game. Before it was just level 1, level 2, etc. I’ll have to uninstall it from the upgraded phone? Maybe you’ll go back to the other format.

I have played the old version almost every day for years. It was challenging and so enjoyable. I would pay for it gladly to have it back again. I hate this garbled new version which I will not play anymore as it drives me nuts. Please, can’t you make the old version available if we pay? Alice

Started playing this a lot recently, and I just discovered a few minutes ago that the app won’t recognize or accept “Christmas” or “Christian” as words. That is bizarre. It accepted “diocese” a few minutes ago - maybe their censors need time to disallow more words? It’s also frustrating, besides being weirdly anti-Christian. Often the game won’t allow you to build potential words (like placing - making this up as an example - an “i” after “seismic”, which could be “seismically”). It’s inconsistent: “Swede” is accepted but not “Texan”. The instructions are abysmal. Another love/hate game. :(.
