This game is pretty fun, not much to it. It can be challenging to hit every ball perfect to get higher scores. The competition gets a little harder as you go along but not much. Probably the best part of the game is that you can pay to get rid of ads, or you can challenge their boss and get rid of ads for free if you win. This is a cool concept except for the fact the boss hits every ball perfect. So if you hit every ball perfect and tie, you still lose. Other than that, it’s a fun game.

I played homer city for quite some time. It’s a challenge. Timing the pitch so you can hit a perfect ball for a maximum score. But lately I’ve become irritated at the ads. I understand the need for them. But there’s gotta be another way. Like not having to watch them while smacking homers. This is easily a 5 star game but the ads. You guys already know. I’ll be fair and give the 5. Now resume the Ritalin with the ads.

As the levels got harder I found myself addicted to the challenge of the game. I am a real good batter in real life so I could not stop playing till I became just as good in the game. If you are a baseball player or love sports games this is the game for you...bet you can’t beat my one round score of 2200

I have an iPod. I also don’t have internet. This game would only let me play one round. It would skip rounds. It got really annoying. I deleted it and reinstalled it. It now doesn’t skip rounds and no ads pop up when I am on the internet.

I found this hidden gem randomly searching for sporting games and I stumbled upon this! Super fun and challenging. Every round I’m trying to beat the next person while also aiming to beat my own previous score! I would definitely recommend

I had a few problems but their support team was very fast to fix the problem (no add’s payment). Once my only problem was fixed I haven’t been able to stop playing!!!!!! Awesome game great customer support!

As a baseball fan I love this game but the goat player is unrealistic and 100% impossible to keep up with. For someone to enjoy playing it you HAVE to drop the difficulty on it for anyone to have a chance otherwise I dominate most opponents by more than 200 a game. And I noticed whenever the goat and I both score the same perfect consecutive hits he’s still somehow getting 100+ more points than me so you have to re-even the scoring or no one will ever beat it! Otherwise amazing game!

The regular tournament style gameplay was pretty boring as it wasn’t challenging. I did end up playing it enough to get around 500 coins before I noticed you could play the boss level. That’s by far the most difficult game as you need to hit every ball perfect. I did beat the game and unlocked everything within probably 1-2 hours of playing the game casually though. Disappointed that there isn’t more content.

So it seems that making a rather substantial purchase when it comes to ad removal would assure a player of no longer having to deal with ads. I’ve tried everything short of this review. I still get ads between every match and it seems like a good game gets destroyed by the onslaught of ads but also by the distrust that a player now has for the game and the developer. Don’t spend the money on this game unless you see resolution. Update: It always helps when a developer makes contact with those that have an issue with their product. In this case they resolved it and I am thankful for the quick response and resolution. As to the game, I would easily give this game 5 stars if it showed more depth. The game mechanics and fun factor are 5 star worthy. The issue is the shallow depth in which the game goes with scenic variations and pitch styles. The bigger issue IMO is the items for purchase. The cupboard is pretty bare here except for a few bats and people and color variations. The end result is you keep accumulating coins for wins and points and after a day have nothing left to use these coins for. These are not hard additions so I am hopeful we will see more depth from this potentially standout game. It’s got true star potential so please make this game as great as it can be.

So far I love playing this game - I’m at the beginning stages level 2 but already there are things I would like changed ........ 1 after the time is up and you are tied with your opponent WHY is there no extra innings or extra swings for both players to break the tie WHY do you have to start from the beginning again ? 2 WHY do I have to be named “player” ? shouldn’t I be able to use my real name which is 8 letters ? 3 how are the points determined when the ball hits the glass of the building ? One game I hit every single ball and I hit it high up the building YET my opponent missed a ball and he scored better ? another game I was on my third swing - I hit all my swings , my opponent missed one yet we were tied ? WHY ? CHARLIE ADDED COMMENTS 3/4/20 1 something has to be figured out what to do “if you and your opponent are “tied” - you should not have to cancel the game or start over - extra swings might be good BUT there is still the chance you can still be TIED ? what to do then ? how can you break the tie without starting over ? even with extra swings you still might get tied once more ? 2 HOW do I change the name from “player” and enter my name ?

Fun game, just a couple issues... 1. Am I really playing against other people? If I go offline it still works... 2. Why can’t I see how many trophy’s I’ve won? I keep winning the “Homer City tournament” but it seems to not matter because it doesn’t show up anywhere. 3. Why can’t I just see my record? It only appears once I start a game. 4. Is there a plan to do something with the stars in the long game? Once you beat GOAT they’re totally useless. I won’t invest in the no-ads purchase unless at least some of these issues are resolved. I’ll quickly get tired of this game it’s not innovated. In response to other comments I’ve read: do not change the GOAT!! The whole point should be that you need a perfect game to beat him. He gets a regular shot the first time then gets perfects for the rest. If you get all perfect you can beat him. It took me a lot of tries but I finally got him. You should not change it because it can be done and it’s extremely satisfying. Don’t take that away from people, hard things are worth doing. Btw, my record as of this post is 84-3-7 😉

I love this game. I should say loved. I thought I was playing other people, but it’s bots. You can start a match then close the app come back in an hour and that same person is waiting to play you. I’ve also hit rematch and left the commercial on and came back later and the same player is waiting for the rematch. Please make it so people are actually competing. And please don’t change GOAT he already misses the first one. I beat him all the time, it’s a challenge.

It use to be a really fun game but the latest updates have made it horrid. The pitches aren’t accurate anymore, now they appear about the batters head plus it’s super glitchy during the pitch which makes timing impossible. And now the latest update shut the game down every time I open the game and start it. Seems to be getting worse. If I could go back several updates I would.

I really like this game & it is fun to help pass the time for a short bit. But unfortunately after playing a few quick games it gets bugged out & freezes every time you advance into the quarterfinals. I meen every time. Played it to the quarterfinals probably a good 10 times & each time halfway through the game just freezes. The pitcher stops pitching but the time continues to tick down to 0 & then just sits there until you close the app never being able to advance to the next lvl & having to start over each time
