    OOZING SOOO MUCH POTENTIAL!!

Lemme start by saying I absolutely love the fact that someone made a TMNT game & didn’t use the “new age” design for them & instead used the OG classic design that all of us that were born in mid to late 80’s grew up watching & playing with the toys! Now being older I’m still a TMNT fan & collector so this game was a must download for me when I found it today! I didn’t even know it existed until it randomly popped up on my App Store but I’m glad it did! I think there’s a TON OF AWESOME POTENTIAL HERE! I’m not a big fan of “IDLE” games & I think if it were more like a team v team scenario where u actually got to control your team & not just hit an icon for a special when it happens it would take this game to bigger heights! Hopefully that will be added. Regardless I hope this game doesn’t wind up like “TMNT HEROES” where the developers just forget it & never update it anymore. Especially since I poured entirely too much cash into TMNT Heroes & now it’s boring bc there’s no new content or characters. Hopefully Kongregate does better & if it’s anything like Animation Throwdown then it’ll definitely be a ton of fun!

This game is fun just like the show

The game is fun and gives you different variety on the enemies and your peoples attacks. It gives you a story like some games and is funny and is perfect on the characters personality in the show. I like how they also made the characters more crisp and modern, and the combat is fun. I just have 2 complaints. The first thing is that you don’t get to do much. You just watch and hope you win. The only time you get to press anything is when your choosing you characters to start the match, and when your fighting to get you character to do a special move unless you have it on so it does it on its own. Speaking of special moves, that brings me to my second complaint. The levels 99% of the time are so easy to beat. All you have to do is keep pressing buttons to get the characters to do their special moves. Other than that the game is fun and makes me feel like I am helping the turtles like I am in the show.

    Good game

I wrote a review earlier and now I can’t seem to find it, but anyway this game is good. It’s fun, addictive and easy to play. By that I mean you can it up and just play without having gear to upgrade or tedious quests to find gear to upgrade your characters. All you have to do is upgrade your repair and then you’ll be able to level up your characters. What I’d like to see added is a in clan chat feature so I can talk to my clan mates without having to create another discord server. Other than that it’s a good game.

    Support the game

I don’t usually write reviews. I made an exception in this case because the Ninja Turtles were always my favorites. To everyone complaining about hitting a wall. What did you expect it’s an idle game not an RPG. If you are dumping money into the game expecting to max everything out right away and beat it why bother playing? I play daily and have no issues. I collect my idle stuff, do a couple levels, level up my team a bit, then go on with my day. I’ve spent 0 dollars on this game and likely won’t unless it’s to get a super rare character. To the developers: I love the game keep working on it. Keep updating. My only issue (hence 4 stars instead of 5) is that the game does a reset and I have to go through the tutorial again and login/relaunch my game a few times in order for it to get my progress back. It’s annoying, but not game breaking. Give this game some time and it will be even more amazing.

The nostalgia factor is great, but...

Like many “idle” games, you quickly cap out anything and everything there is to do in a matter of minutes. At a certain point each day (or worse, each week at some point knowing these games) you will hit a wall where there’s nothing to do but wait until you’ve collected enough XP (ooze, in this case) to level up heroes enough to continue for another 5 minutes worth of battles until you hit the next wall. The character designs are great, the classic TMNT feel is excellent, and the graphics are polished well enough. The abilities are cool, and fit the characters personalities, giving the animations a nice flair. The upgrade system and items are not explained well, and they’re kinda meh. The ability to go backwards and replay older battles as a way to grind out some basic resources would easily add another star, and the option to customize or level up items would add depth and possibly a fifth star. As it stands this is a three star game on nostalgia alone.

    Could be amazing

10/10 for gameplay and graphics 10/10 for characters and setup 1/10 for fun after hitting about stage 9 I’m dying to play more or actually have something to do at all. Wait 8 hours to get on and it’s one click to get my idle rewards and still nothing to do. So disappointing. No reason to even spend now as the paywall is so tall that you will never reach the top. It’s not enough content to keep everyone happy and no matter how much you spend it will just go back to an idle game waiting to do something. Plus they cap the idle part. Sad. Now if they had content I would keep spending to move along the campaign or level characters but my wallet won’t open just to have same wall come up tomorrow. I like to spend too. Sorry. Crazy you absolutely can’t do one thing for days. How is that possible. Very poorly designed gameplay. No one will spend if your just stuck always and getting a purple hero will give you maybe 30more minutes of fun and your right back to where you were. Also what’s up with clans? I applied for 3 days to 20 different clans each day and never got accepted to anyone. Then the quest I’m trying to complete is join a clan lol. Ended up making my own and realize I can’t even have any alliance members either just like I can’t have any actual gameplay content. Fix this game please.

    Wanted to give 5 stars

After playing this game for a few months, I would like to warn other potential players. The developers worked hard on this project and in many respects have a great product just looking to be administered well. With that said, the glitches of not being able to watch ads for bonus resource production that have been going on for weeks now has put an end to my time with the game. You can’t advance past player level 100. You will only access 2/3 of the possible characters, the others seem to only be available through large purchases. No way to message the developers to make them aware of the issues. No way to communicate with other players or even the players in your same clan. All glaring issues that need to be addressed. It was a fun game until you hit that progression brick wall.

Great potential- some game killer bugs

Really fun game. Decent graphics, decent music. I experienced, however, some game killing bugs. 1st bug- around level 70ish I stopped receiving materials from various sources. The green cubes not only stopped being rewarded from quests, but the lair stopped generating them. This resource is used to advance and unlock new characters. 2nd bug- I tried doing the partnered tasks to earn green cubes, despite being completed they all were stuck in unfinished. 3rd bug- I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it won’t collect quests to advance (won’t collect new characters). Deleted the app again. No real place ingame to contact the developers and report these bugs so hopefully they can fix these issues as the game has a lot of potential! At this point however to invest any cash into the game is a big risk.

Not really a game so much as a “who can spend more” simulator.

I’ve been playing this game since launch. Since then, because of consistent bugs during every update cycle, I’ve wasted countless hours of play in terms of the bit currency (used to obtain new heroes) and other currencies. People exploit the system regularly both thru cheats and some bugs and will absolutely decimate any hope of progress you might have. To top it off, their rng method for obtaining those luscious, hard to get characters is absolutely abysmal. As I said, I’ve been playing since launch and because of this rng and system abuse, I have lost every chance to obtain good 4&5 star rated characters. My roster consists of the absolute worst tier possible in the game and no amount of hoarding resources outside of dropping hundreds of dollars will get me to where that “loot” is. Avoid this game if you’re looking for a fun and engaging experience. You literally just idle matches in real time and collect characters. That’s it. Oh, and there is no endgame content. There’s nothing to do at all late game other than log in once a day and watch a handful of ads. Kongregate his really dropped the ball with this game.

    Horrible game

I’ve been playing this game religiously for three months maybe more. If I can give it a zero star I would! Once you reach a level 200 for your characters it jumps from 10,000,000 to 60,000,000 units to give them a level so it goes up 50 million units when before it was going up to hundred thousanddish to make your levels. So once you get to that 200 level mark it takes so much more to level up your players if feels like they are trying to put a halt or slow down the production because they cannot keep up! I have also written them because temptress doesn’t get her final upgrade of the dragon picture I’ve had her and I’ve written the writers of this game and it is still under production after two months of me asking where it is! AlsoWhen I got to level 200 I got to the Leonardo that upgrades to a super Leonardo I have tried to beat him now for three weeks straight with zero success. This game only wants your money and will not let you progress further until you pay that money it’s easier first becomes very difficultAfter about three month mark be disappointed on anything you can do with this game.

    Not a great game!

Again like most people say this game has potential but what it lacks is game modes and more activities to keep busy. It’s like after you get some toons and build them after awhile you are at a road block for days before you can do anything and the further you go the longer you’ll have to wait for materials or to progress further in the game. You can’t go back through the levels and grind for ooze. It’s Mostly all about money!!! This is not a free to play game after awhile. If you want to play daily you’ll have to spend an ungodly amount of money! Toon pulls are lame as you only get 2 star pulls which take awhile to build enough up to get 1 pull and it takes forever to get a 3 or 4 star pull as you don’t get those materials needed enough to pull them. I don’t see this game going very far as many people stopped playing this game because of the long long long wait to progress. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: You have got to make a change in this game to benefit the players not the developers. I rate your game a 3/10 with potential, if you change the gameplay and modes this game could be something special.

    Does not run properly

I downloaded this game two days ago excitedly. Upon initial startup the game worked beautifully. My issue started while still in the training stage after completing stage 1-7. I was prompted to click the heroes tab after earning enough hero disk to recruit. I clicked the tab which then brought up the list of heroes I had already recruited. From here I am prompted to tap the bottom button to move to the next screen. Instead of taking me to the next screen as the game intends I am just given a ninja star that never stops spinning. I can’t progress. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled to see if this would correct the issue and again the same problem. I recently installed the new update in hope that I can finally progress in the game but I encountered the same issue. After closing out the game I attempted to open up the game again but now I can not get past 83% on the load screen. This is very frustrating as I have a high desire to play this game. Please fix.

    Disappointed

I have played this game for a while now, I believed I can give an honest and sincere review about it. I love TMNT, I have many memories from my childhood and this is the reason why I started playing this game, all the characters look exactly as I remember them. So far I have spent $40 on this game, this is how much I really love TMNT but not to say this game in particular. It has way so many issues for me to keep wasting my money on it. For example; Playing Dimension Clash there are many times when the characters fighting get stuck and do nothing, the only way to to fix it is getting out therefore losing the battle. There are other times that it just doesn’t even works so you loose your energy as you only have 10 each day. Also playing the channel 6 rush, you are supposed to play as far as you can go with your team and then each day it will go down 10 levels for you to try again and I am guessing so you can at least get something from playing the “channel 6 rush” but there are times, many times I should say that I am stuck in there and I can’t even play my daily 10 levels from the reset. I am really sorry to say that these issues are enough for me to not recommend this game to anyone. Is really disappointing to say the least and I far as I know theres nowhere to tell anyone about it

Pay or Watch Ads to Win

It’s fun at first, then the nostalgia wears off. If you like banging your head against the wall hoping to get an ad to trigger so you can get material to level up with, and if you love the same false advertising ads that take you to the App Store without your permission so you can see their falsely inflated star ratings from click farms in Asia, then this is the game for you. 2 stars for nostalgia and really good music. Adding: Ads are becoming increasingly aggressive, forcing interactions, and one even forced me to log into Walmart so they could put their products into my cart (it failed), but I couldn’t get the reward otherwise even after watching the video. These type of ads indicate poor breeding by the parents (probably at least one being four-legged) of the losers who come up with these ideas, and if the devs don’t take action instead of being driven by greed, I will begin to think the same of them. Garbage!
