    Pretty Good

I like how the rate of progress doesn’t dramatically slow down after a while like a lot of games. I enjoy the art style and diverse selection of character cards. I enjoy how what type of building u get for that town changes every level. I’m still confused on how some of the events work and how I a brain stars. Something I would love to see it that as you upgrade the building it visually upgrades it too. I love it when games do that. But over all my favorite game by kongregate.

    Super fun

Only problem I got but I’m sure not everyone has, my iPod can’t support the events and just times out each time but that’s my problem. Used to do that with adventure capitalist but never does it and hasn’t done it in years. So like I said, fun as hell but times out on my iPod (newest gen)

Great fun, cool use of theme.

This game keeps me engaged and keeps me tapping. It’s just the amount of engagement I want in a casual idle and I love the art style. I am looking forward to seeing what kinds of events they run with this game in the future!

    Like the game but....

I like this game a lot but....the events are just too difficult. In the events once you move past level 1, they want the managers to level up 2-3, sometimes 4 levels before they can be automated again...number one, you usually arent able to get the cards, and if you do have the cards, you cant earn enough elixer or whatever to be able to upgrade. Please give us more elixer in the chests! +26 elixer for level 3 isnt enough. I think the most elixer i have EVER gotten was 126 elixer...when you need 1500 plus elixer or more, it just doesnt work.

Core game is good; events need work.

The overall game is great. The visuals, progression, and aesthetic feel good. The problem I have is with the progression in Events. By halfway through the event it is difficult to automate ANYTHING, much less the 3 you’d need to go idle. I finished a previous event, so I understand that finishing one requires more active play. But it’s way too much. The event progression structure needs serious reworking IMO. Otherwise it’s just not fun.

    Two-flaw, very obsessive game

Enjoyable and draws you in ever deeper and wanting to continue further...however, fatal flaw in that it’s totally dependent on 1st two “buildings” getting automated (camp and gatehouse); if not able to do so, you need to spend hours manually working the transportation...secondly, I think the balance of costs and rewards needs a lot of work; I think building growth is too level(!), and rewards too little (elixir, cards, etc) Building growth: it seems that, often, you can upgrade all buildings at once, they are too close in cost...should be a bit harder imho...but fix rewards as well, please...sometimes you get stuck on 1 villager upgrade for days! Perhaps a refresh of available cards for elixir purchases, a button, I mean...

    Too much crashing...

Kongregate is one of my favorite game developer. This game has an ease of play that is satisfactory. Why this review is 3 stars...it’s not playable. I have tried everything in my book to hopefully not crash the game. I got a couple of good times where I played for at least 3 minutes but then the game would crash. I try to get back on and it would just continually crash. Come on Devs! I have played almost all of your games and none ever crashed like this one...until it’s fixed I can’t play it as I’m so frustrated with the crashing...

    Ok fun, but the ADS.....

I typically enjoy this kind of game...start at a small level and grow enough to carry on to more advancing settings. HOWEVER - the vast majority of the video ads for bonuses are 3-part interactive ads. This is the only game of about 15-20 games that I play that use these types of ads. They consist of 3 10-second segments. They take 3-4 for each segment to load before the 10-second timer begins, and it will not proceed to the next segment until you physically press a green button at the top. The topics displayed in the ads are of no concern to me - diseases/health conditions I don’t have or the opinions/events of Hollywood/sports celebs that I don’t care anything for. These ads have often made me want to delete the game entirely, and I CERTAINLY WILL NOT donate a cent of real money to this game (as I do several of my other games) because of their choice of ads that they developers run. And no, I will not be answering any questions concerning my demographics or interests so that you can “personalize” my ad experience.

    Not a true idle game

A fantasy version of the Wild West game, but like similar games you need to spend some resources (not necessarily premium ones) to get cards that activate the automate feature. Otherwise, some buildings will not produce anything while you’re away. The higher the level, the more resources you’ll need to draw enough random cards to turn on the automate feature. Eventually you’re going to just have to keep tapping in game to generate any income because it takes too many resources to automate even the basic buildings. It’s more of a tap game than an idle game in that sense. To make it a true idle game, they should at least always enable automation of one production building, the cart that collects them, and the vehicle that hauls the cargo away to generate cash. That way players will always generate some revenue while idle, even if it’s a small amount.

    Something to do

This is a good game to waste time when you want something to do besides what you probably should be doing. But when that the case you don’t want the audio playing so you turn it off. However, every time you switch between the Main screen and the event screen or when an ad starts the music starts blaring. In the game you have to jump to the settings and turn the music off so you can turn it off again. In the ad you have to search for the mute button. This is so annoying. STOP RESETTING THE SOUND TO ON EVERYTIME. You fix that and I’ll add another star or two.

Has issues that aren’t getting fixed.

Overall, it’s a decent time waster. My big issue is with the bonuses you get for watching videos. 95% of the time they don’t work. Sometimes you can just keep tapping the button and it will eventually work, after 30-40 taps but, the majority of the time, they don’t work at all. However, the bonuses you spend gems to get work 100% of the time. I’ll raise my rating when you fix your issues.

    Different/bad mechanics

In order to automate or have idle play engaged you need to level up characters via cards. With further levels the character bonuses persist, but can’t be activated to truly become idle until leveled. This is likely to encourage you to pay money, watch ads, or use gems to advance. You can advance in the game without doing so, but having the idle feature off at times is especially annoying. It is how this game mechanics work that irk me. I have the character and building, but as idle play and idle income is disengaged at key points or locations I have to stay online to advance. This is much worse in the special events. Otherwise the game works well and is enjoyable.

    Not very fun-but addicting

This game starts out fun with building towns up and moving on, but after a couple weeks it becomes rather tedious. It takes longer and longer to meet the goals and the upgrades become too expensive or require potion which gets harder to obtain. It’s clear that they want you badly to purchase packs and chests, but in a repetitive game like this no way. The events are awful, you will never get the cards to automate anything after the first level. So the only way to play is to manually click all the buildings. It doesn’t get much more boring than that. Try harder developers, maybe mini games? Anything?

Clever idea but not an idle game

What I like about the game is the concept of levels and quests. Unfortunately this isn't an idle game at all. It's nothing more than a blatant cash grab. By the time you pass the first few levels you won't be able to automate anything without spending a substantial amount of money which means lots of tapping and tapping and tapping. If you think that's bad, wait till you try an event. Almost zero automation there, just a non-stop tap fest. Disappointing as this could be a great game if they could reign in their greed just a little.
