    5 star review

I love tower defense games. I’ve been looking for good ones all over the App Store but never found anything worth while. That was, until I found this one. There is a decent range of weapons, levels, and enemies. I am not super far into the game yet, but it is already my favorite tower defense on the App Store. There is no major story line, you just fight enemies off and it gets more difficult as you go on. All the levels have different layouts, enter points, and exit points so you can’t use your memory to your advantage. I have not played the multiplayer simply because you have to pay in-game currency. I would normally be fine with there being an enter fee but currency in this game is so scarce, you have to spend it on upgrades. The only reason that this gets 5 stars is because it is better than the rest. However, that is completely my opinion and you guys are free to think what you want. Thank you for reading and I hope this may have helped you. Great download.

    Fun and Addicting

Game is great and entertaining. Provides a decent range of weapons and ability to upgrade said weapons as one pleases. Game also has broad range of enemies, so that one doesn't grow complacent with one's battlefield. I am actually at a 4.5 and not a 5.0, because despite playing on an iPhone 7 Plus, my hands are a bit too large for the weapon options. By the way, my hands are about 8.4 inches, which could very well be the reason why I am one of the few, if not the only person talking about this. I didn't bother to read too far back.

    Love this game

Honestly I love this game, I haven't experienced anything crazy, it works wonderfully the tutorial is simple and not annoying! The games great and easy to get the hang of, I love you can earn coins and fuel etc by watching adds and those are unlimited so that way you don't have to wait or waste time. I think it's important that you can enjoy the game with or without putting actual money into it!

Legit Tower Defense. Doesn't break the bank!

I am a huge fan of tower defense games and it's hard to find good ones for mobile. So far this game is just about everything I would want in a tower defense game. You don't need to spend money, the upgrades are attainable, and the levels do require strategy. I'm only in the first area, so my review could change, but if it stays like this, it's definitely gonna be a game I play a lot!

Loving it, but doesn’t always work.

I absolutely love this game. I’ve been playing it for awhile and have been addicted to it. The only thing is that after I bought the no adds + tower pack, my game always crashes. I can’t get through half a level until it kicks me out of the game. If the developers see this, please fix it because I would love to keep playing this game.

    New update

This game is very fun to play and I have had it for a while and noticed there was an update that there was a new tower. I was pretty exited until I got on and noticed that it reset my machine gun and ice tower that were max back to level one and my heros back to level one also. This is was a fun game but it took forever to get the coins to get those towers so can you please fix this bug.

Tons of fun, but buggy, not steampunk, and unclear playing rules

I’ll start of by saying that I really do enjoy playing this game! It’s a lot fun and just challenging enough to want to keep playing. But the style is not steampunk; I can see where they attempted to incorporate a steampunk theme, but they didn’t quite get there. Also, am I missing something when it comes to gameplay? There isn’t a tutorial that I can refer to for level references. (For example, in some of the levels I lose hearts, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why because I am destroying every single enemy.) I tried to find an FAQ or tutorial to answer questions but could not. The game is also very buggy. If I play a level for more than 5 or so mins the app crashes. The app also crashes frequently at the end of a level when you are trying to double your rewards. All of the above cons are enough to frustrate me, make me stop playing, and give less stars for this review. If I could figure out how to get feedback on these things, I would.

    Hate the energy

Game overall is pretty good. If you've ever played Kingdom Rush TD, it's pretty much a remake of that except with energy to force you to stop playing and come back later. I HATE games with energy, I only have such little time to play as it is and cannot play any other time, WHY limit me?! The energy frustrates me so much as many of the levels are very easy and I normally skip the timer every time. So I burn through my energy in around 20 mins (since you have virtually none of it) and am left with 25 minutes of my break looking for another game on the app store. Great game, ruined by energy. I deleted it half way through. If you don't mind playing in 20 minute bursts with minimum 50 minutes between, this game is good. Otherwise it's frustrating.

    Not worth it IMO

I played the free version. Was tempted to buy the pro version in the beginning, but you’re very limited in this defense game and you also gotta pay if you want fluid gameplay. The fact that you can spend an infinite amount of money on a pretty mediocre game is beyond me. Same goes for all these other pay to play games. If I could just buy games outright without having to make a frequent investment, I’d probably buy more, but there’s obviously a market for it so whatever.

Want to like it but issues..

I really want to like this game but it has a lot of pay wall issues. You get 4 tower slots for free with one more unlocked by watching a video each day and a 1$ for the last slot. The same goes with heroes. Unfortunately you can only obtain about 1/3 of the heroes via play the others are all 2$ pay walls each. The game is definately designed to be a grind but that’s just to pad content which isn’t really a crime just a way to keep you around. I do dislike the bate and switch with the ads. You can pay money to remove ads (which I did) I thought to remove frivolous ads but instead just reduces them in order to bottleneck you into ads that can’t be bypassed. I assume to playcate you hey give you currency for watching an add you didn’t want but I do feel it’s kind of shady why charge you to remove ads and then not remove ads.. I can’t in good conscience stick around for these practices.

    Real Review

I played this almost to the very end. This game is extremely easy and requires no effort. You do not need to spend money, in time you will unlock 4 hero’s and all towers and it doesn’t cost much to upgrade the towers and whether the hero’s fight or not they still get exp for leveling up. So I wondered why this game exists at all; is it for babies? Figured out it’s only function is to show you adds after levels. There are a whole lot of levels (more than average for a TD game) but all of them are easy as hell. Nothing really happens, after the first 20 or so levels the enemies remain the same, no bosses and the levels are also very short, majority is 7 small ways and it stays that way. So ya ENTIRE basis for this game are the unskipable adds, every level and even sometimes when you just leave a level because you want to get off the game. I lost probably twice and the only reason for that is because I didn’t bring air defense tower to a level that had choppers; so I started bringing them to all levels; turns out choppers and boats are in so few levels I could have done those levels later just to 3 star them. BOOOOOORING! Deleted.

Forced Ads, Quickly depleted energy, NOT STEAMPUNK

As the title says, on top of having energy that you go through at an extremely fast rate that you can pay to add more of, you are also forced to go through an Ad after every single mission. Generally they are short, but they are also disruptive to the flow of the game and can sometimes be loud. Worst of all though... it’s NOT steampunk. There’s no real reason to have that in the name. It’s not even a case of “glue some gears on it” either. There’s not even a nod to what is steampunk anywhere that I’ve found. It’s just guns, flamethrowers, soldiers, and some outlandish things that, though a bit on the fiction side, have nothing to do with steampunk.

    Zero if possible update

Still terrible in EVERY conceivable way. Energy is the mind killer. Not just pay to win (it is), but also pay to play. They bribe people in game! for good reviews, which should be banned. Original review: I don't get the good reviews for this game. It's one of those TD games that people have slapped different skins on, but you see the same game over and over. There's a timer to play (or you can pay) and the difficulty ramps up quickly, leaving you to grind or pay. It doesn't feel like any strategy is really needed, just deep pockets or a LOT of patience. No fun. No fun at all. Worst game ever.

Great Game but it's not Steampunk

This game needs a SERIOUS reskin. It's a modern day military game with two or three steampunk heroes thrown in. I feel the game reskinners took the chupamobile template and just threw it on here without taking the consideration to us Steampunk fans that we actually paid for this steampunk label game because we wanted to play an actual steampunk themed turret defense game. I also noticed that there are no Black People represented as heroes in this game. Why? At least three of those heroes need to be the color of my coffee. Please don't tell me us Geeks are becoming racist. I see the heroes are Danny Trejo, Ash, Mr. Freeze, Sara Conner, Black Widow, Two real steampunk character, a mechanic and a sniper, but please change all the costumes to steampunk (just grab a mechanica graphic novel, read a novel like Nimbus or hit up people in the steampunk community for input), and Put some more Black People, Native Americas, Asians in the game (enough with the White majority nonsense) Please reskin this and give us an update.
