This app is great! I needed to learn how to play, and this was perfect. I like all the options that are available to play. Single player with 2 options beginner and pro, play now, join game, and create game. Private table and invite are coming soon, and I'm looking forward to that. The ONLY problem I have had is you can pause your game, and sometimes the game you were playing for some reason is gone and you have to start a new game. I wouldn't let this discourage you from this app. it doesn't happen very often, and it's to much fun, yet challenging to stop you from still enjoying this game. Worth the money. Love the new update! Only played it about 10 times, and so far no problems.

This is a totally absorbing game that builds patience and requires focus and close attention. One poorly thought out move can result in an embarrassing loss. Over time, proficiency; speed, and an analytical approach develop. The board, with multiple players becomes less and less confusing and intimidating It is not a mindless game. I love it. The professional support staff are always readily available in case of malfunctions which are largely now worked out as the current version has evolved. Thanks, Kinkajoo; Ltd. for an amazing gaming journey, and a game that can be played as enjoyably as the actual board game with friends at the table.

New update is cool to play. But I was on level 21 and now I’m all the way back at level 1! 😡😡 not cool! Love the game. Play it often. My biggest complaint is the people who let time run out completely even tho they can't play instead of pressing the check to speed up play. Maybe levels should be split.. like levels1-5 play each other, 6-10, and everyone else. It's annoying to be at 18/19 and play w a 1-4 who is slow play and didn't read the rules prior to playing and they continuously waste time.

This takes me back to playing it with my grandma. Bad reviews are wrong! Reviews keep complaining about how if the computer takes over they are too fast. Now that I have played the game and advanced I know that I can lay tiles down just as fast as the computer. You have to give it a chance . Beating the computer is 100% possible! Takes me back to a simpler time of playing board games with my mom and dad and grandma

I had taken a break from this game and was disappointed by the newest version when I returned a month ago. I play on a mini iPad 3 or iPhone 6S plus. On the iPhone it’s very annoying when I try to play tiles near the top of the screen and instead pull down my recent notifications. Not sure whether to blame Apple or Kinjaboo but it’s maddening to have my game interrupted- occasionally causing me to miss a turn. I too have found that the tiles on my tray cannot be arranged as easily as they could in the previous version. Much less intuitive. I still like the game and enjoy playing it, but please do fix some of the glitches.

The new update makes the app look much better on iPhone X, but there are two major problems. First, the home bar gets in the way of your tiles and if you accidentally touch it you temporarily leave the game and have to reconnect. This can happen very easily while trying to access your tiles. Additionally, the notch gets in the way during the game which is quite annoying. I also liked that you could pick which game you wanted to join in the old update, rather than being assigned a game randomly. Though, I love that you can request people to play with.

I love the game, but.... I play on a iPhone X, that doesn’t have a home button, you just swipe up from the bottom. Because of this, that little bar that you swipe up with, well it’s on the rack. So, I am always almost closing the game, then it has to reconnect, blah blah blah. Give us the option to move the rack to the top, so we don’t run into this problem. It’s so aggravating that I have considered not playing the game any longer. I have connectivity problems as it is, and I don’t want the added frustration.

It is so frustrating when you know you’re playing with a person and they bow out and the computer takes over. It goes from the person having a lot of tiles to going down to zero in one move. The computer can play it so fast and can make many more moves than the human can. I understand the need for the computer to take over but it never has trouble making the tiles stick or all of the other things that slow you down. Very frustrating. I feel like bowing out also every time I realize it’s taken over. You need another update to correct the amount of plays the computer can make in one turn and make it more realistic to what a human is capable of doing.

Can someone please explain to me why I wind up with double 13’s, or 4’s, or 9’s of the same color literally every game I play? I have played Rummikub my entire life, and while drawing doubles of the same color happens, it’s not nearly at the rate of this digital version. There’s also the matter of the ridiculous number of games where an opponent has over 25 tiles left, everyone else has 1-4, and the person with 25 magically comes back to win in two turns. Again, I have seen it happen in real life, but not at the rate it does here. I’m left thinking that there isn’t enough true randomness built into the algorithm, because there’s no reason either of these things should be happening this often.

Why change from a format that resembled the board game. The updated version is poorly designed and is not user friendly. Not only are the tiles harder to see, but it’s difficult to see when it’s your turn. Also, more often than not, I have 21 plus tiles before I can get into the game. Not true with the previous version. The emojis with preselected text are extremely out of line. Hard to believe that there are that many people who are so rude. It really doesn’t matter if it’s directed at me or someone else. ‘Come on!’ Is very disrespectful. Imagine how many people would want to play with someone that rude face to face.

My family LOVES Rummikub! We own several physical versions of the game and play it at home, on trips and for our get togethers. Due to COVID19, we bought this version so we could play online together. In order to start a private game with your family or friends, you must first log into Facebook. After connecting to FB, you should be able to invite your friends from FB to play. Unfortunately, none of us can get past the swirling circle on the screen area that should show a list of your FB friends. Even after 20+ minutes, multiple attempts and trying both a phone and tablet, the app never populates the friend list so you can start a private game. What do a waste of $7 & the developers should be ashamed to not provide basic functionality for that price! More than ever we need games and apps that are reliable and fun to help us cool next with family and friends! We are big fans of the physical game, but crushed by the poor performance of the app version.

This game is a favorite and the app does the best job so far of recreating it. But this last update is your worst and yet and I’ll be deleting if it’s not put to right. The sounds are horrible, I turn the sound off now. That timer sounds like a freaking egg timer when it goes off, so annoying. The tile placement sounds gets under my skin. And really, you need created chat phrases? Why? So people can now tell me to hurry up? I only updated because I wanted to pick a skill level as I learn. But there’s only two choices! I’m not a pro at this but even when I play easy I get these experienced players, the ones telling me to hurry up. I thought that skill level meant the GAME would match me up with people in my level. Choosing it myself is pointless if pros can play in the easy level. Please bring back the nice quiet qualities before this update.

What were you guys thinking??? You ruined my favorite game!!!! I get "connectivity" problems all the time and that is IF I can ever even get in which is now never. Not a good enough connection." As someone else stated all the other Apps on my phone work perfectly! I was so hooked but now I have moved on to more reliable games. I agree the real people should put some type of personal picture so that we know there is a human. I feel like I am playing all robots. They make many multiple moves at their turn that I do not think a human could do. I admit I am 70 and my memory is not liked it used to be. But calm them down and make the playing field a little more equal. After so many complaints about this game why are not the bugs fixed?

I love playing this game with my grandma, but we can never connect. We try to use private gamemode but we always get stuck with “the circle”. It has become an everyday problem and I really wish I could play but it just NEVER works! Please fix this for us!! (Edit) New problem. My grandma keeps trying to accept my game invites, but when she taps it, it tells her she hasn’t given access to her friends on Facebook! We have played for several months now and this hasn’t happened before. Please help! We searched through the settings and on her Facebook account, but we can’t find anywhere to give access! I love this game and we want to keep playing. We might have to find another app to use. 😬
