Overall, this is an amazingly well done app. I love that I can try puzzles which are difficult to find such as things like high order pyramids and dodecahedrons. Turning the puzzles is easy and straightforward with enough practice. One issue is that something reset with GameCenter and I lost all achievements. In particular one achievement I am sad to see lost is the "Speed Cuber." My record on leaderboards is still there displaying 50 or so seconds but I lost the achievement for solving the 3x3 in under a minute. Other than the GameCenter resetting, this is an amazing app. I hope to see more puzzles and this developed further!!

This is awesome. I have been playing this for over a year and everything works great. There should be a blindfolded category where when you scramble it the timer starts and when you done memorizing the cube turns white and you have to press “done” if you are done. But everything is working great and I will love to see what this app does in the future.

I’ve caught the cube solving fever! Got good with a real life 6x6 and wanted more, but the actual price of 8x8s were too high. I found this app and I’m very happy with it. The ads aren’t annoying at all. It saved my position every time. Took about 5 minutes to get used to the finger gestures, but once you do, you’ll hardly notice them. Using this on an iPad Pro 10.5 and it’s great!

This app is perfect! Controls are very smooth and much better than I imagined. For people seeking an app to help them solve the cube, this is not for you. This is built for those who can already solve the cube or for anyone who just wants to mess around with the cube. I quickly got used to the controls and was able to solve it in just over 4 minutes! Love it!

Only played for 15 seconds. Idk if it’s bc I’m on a iPad but it just spins. When you try to move it or tap it nothing happens. And it’s already solved! But I’ve never had a Rubik’s cube I wish I did. This is an amazing game. I really enjoy solving rubiks cubes, but I only have one. And that’s the standard one. I really like two by twos because they are the easiest ones and with this game I can actually play with them. All though, I think there should be something where you can search a Rubik’s cube to play with. But other than that this is an amazing game.

This Rubik's cube app is really helpful for me. It gives me all kinds of puzzles in all different sizes. It is a life saver because all of the cubes in here are completely free! There aren't that many ads and I can even challenge other people in a tournament. For all of those cubes out there, Magic Cube is the app for you.

I just completed my first cube in this game and I don't usually leave a review on my games, but I decided to on this one because this is one of my favorite apps. I downloaded other Rubik's cube apps and they didn't let you move the cube freely. And one app charged you money to get rid of ads, when all you do is turn on airplane mode or wifi and you're set. The only thing that I don't like is when you're looking a certain way at the cube you can't turn the back or the front and I would like you to fix that; other than that this is a good app.

I think this is one of the better cubing apps out there. It's pretty easy to turn the faces you are aiming for and being able to lock the orientation is really nice. It would be nice to be able to do a double face turn but that's not too big of a deal. Maybe being able to rotate the cube on a specific axis would be a nice feature. Like locking the position but for the axes. It's also nice that you can try and solve all of the different cubes without needing to pay extra. There are just ads.

Love the app. Many cubes/pyramids to choose from, not too many ads, ands it’s flippin’ free. However, the finger gestures are a bit difficult to figure out, it takes me like 3 times as long to solve a cube in the app as in the real world. This is a bit frustrating, because I’m always making mistakes, whether I turn a layer instead of rotating the cube, or turning the wrong side. This could certainly be improved upon. That is why the app only gets 4 stars out of 5. Otherwise, though, great app.

Great variety! This is a pretty neat idea. Though when I try to do the 8X8X8 cube and pan around the cube, it keeps jumping to different sides and it can be pretty jarring and inconsistent, making it difficult to see what you’re doing. It would also be nice/helpful to have another lock button except to lock manipulating the cube, so that when you press the 2nd lock button you are free to just look around at the different parts of the cube and you wouldn’t have to worry about accidentally changing the cube in some way and having to keep pressing undo. (The 8X cube just takes up so much of the space that it’s not as easy to pan the camera around using the background.) Or maybe another solution would be to have “hold” buttons so that when you held down the button with one finger you could do some thing with a different finger, however this might have certain accessibility concerns. (Maybe you could do both approaches?) This puzzle does work though and even just the free ads are really not a problem at all. Great idea!

This game is a pretty good game when you want to play with a Rubik's cube but can't buy one, but a real Rubik's cube is definitely much better. People keep saying the controls are so easy to use, but after half a year with a real one, it's just so difficult! Even now, about a week after initial download, I'm more used to it but it's still difficult! I do understand, though, that there is only so much you can do with an app when you can create much more control in real life. If you can, it would be better to just buy a real Rubik's cube, though. (Btw I can't actually compare this to other games of its style bc this is the only one I've downloaded it's probs pretty good for its type of game tho)

For starters, it has ads every other minute. And that includes when your in the middle of solving a cube. When you are trying to turn the cube around to see the other sides, it glitches and turns the cube in a random direction. It sometimes even turns a side of the cube. That is really annoying because the you have to look around to see which side it messed up. It sometimes gets stuck when it’s scrambling it. I have my own mechanical cubes and I much prefer to solve those instead of this app. In the end, I was so frustrated with the app that I had to uninstall it.

The reason I give this app 1 star and not none, is that it is a very good app. I have been a cube solver for 8 years now, and it’s nice to be able to try larger cubes. The reason this app doesn’t get all 5 stars from me is because of the two incidents when explicit porn pop ups covered the entire screen as I was trying to concentrate on solving a 6x6x6 cube. I am a Christian man, and certainly do not wish to be exposed to such iniquity. I love this app, but despise the highly inappropriate pop-ups of women blowing men. If you are the owner of this app, please do something about this.
