Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a chessboard, a checkered gameboard with 64 squares arranged in an eight-by-eight grid. It is one of the world's most popular games, played by millions of people worldwide in homes, parks, clubs, online, by correspondence, and in tournaments.
Each player begins the game with 16 pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. Each of the six piece types moves differently. Pieces are used to attack and capture the opponent's pieces, with the objective to 'checkmate' the opponent's king by placing it under an inescapable threat of capture. In addition to checkmate, the game can be won by the voluntary resignation of the opponent, which typically occurs when too much material is lost, or if checkmate appears unavoidable.

Hacker or game glitch
I play this everyday because I love chess. But I just came across either a hacker or a game glitch. I have the screen shot of the final ending showing I had another move available and was NOT a checkmate. Either remove the player for hacking or fix the games glitch. If you can contact me for the screenshot I’d be more than happy to show evidence.
Needs help
Something went wrong with this app. I turned the volume off and it’s blaring loud!! How annoying especially at night when people are sleeping! I tried turning my volume down and completely off and still it’s kind n full blast! What’s up? If it continues I will stop using this app.
Error or Something
I play this game every day for hours, and as of lately there’s games I’m able to continue play and it POPS UP LOSE. It’s really frustrating can this issue be resolved please and thank you

Pretty good
It’s pretty fun if you like chess online ranking is pretty fun to try and be the best and it’s not hard to rank up so kinda makes you feel smart. Nothing wrong with it for me so far.

Basic with bugs
It’s just chess. So nothing special aside from the game. Sometimes while playing my screen goes black just for a second and when I click back in I just automatically lose. What’s with that? I’ve lost 3 games just because the game bugs out on me and there’s nothing I can do.
Not beginner friendly, lacks social elements
If you’re a beginner and looking to play engines, the engines on Dr. Chess are not beginner friendly. I’d say the Level 1 engine is probably 1300 rating, makes few blunders, and is largely unforgiving for new players.
Nice app but we need it to export my games so I can analyze them
The app is nice but we need it to give the option to export my games in any format so I can analyze them using chess engines and review my mistakes and improve my chess
Why two stars?
I can not stand the fact that you automatically lose your match if your screen closes. “Hey, it’s an accident! I don’t want to lose my rank.” But the online is fast to jump on so that’s a plus.
What a mess. Switching chess apps
I just took someone’s queen within 3 moves and then all of a sudden the screen flashes lose. So I thought that meant he resigned and lost but no, I go to my stats and I now have a losing streak instead of a winning streak. This apps been around how long and they haven’t figured this out? Don’t waste your time building up stats on this app. Anybody can cheat like this. It happened to me within my 4th game.
Stop blocking moves
The game purposefully won’t let me make certain moves and I don’t understand why. I may not be a chess god or anything but I know well enough how the pieces work. Yet at times I can’t move pieces at all! If I’m going to lose a game I want to lose because I made a bad move not because the game only lets me move 1 piece! Good 10 minutes of frustration and uninstalled
