Video Manual: How to Use the Earn to Die 2 App

How does it Work?

Drive your car through a zombie apocalypse in this massive follow-up to the chart-topping hit Earn to Die!

An evacuation ship is waiting on the other side of the country. The only thing that stands in your way: city after city overrun by zombies . With only a run-down car and a small amount of cash you face a familiar situation... to drive through hordes of zombies in order to survive!

BRAND NEW STORY MODE

Earn to Die 2 introduces a massive new Story Mode, five times longer than its predecessor. The game departs its familiar desert setting and delves into the depths of cities infested by zombies.

MULTI-TIERED LEVELS:

Levels are now multi-tiered! Drive across decayed highway overpasses, via underground tunnels, or smash through epic zombie filled factories. Whichever path you choose to take, you won't be able to escape the zombie hordes - your only choice is to smash through them!

BUILD A ZOMBIE-SLAUGHTERING MACHINE

Unlock and upgrade 10 different vehicles, including a sports car, a fire truck, and even an ice-cream van. Each vehicle can be equipped with a range of upgrades, such as armored frames, roof-mounted guns, boosters and more. Those zombies will stand no chance.

DESTRUCTIBLE VEHICLES

Vehicles are now fully destructible. Hang on for your life as your vehicle gets smashed to smithereens if you aren't too careful.

MORE ZOMBIES. MORE DESTRUCTION. MORE MAYHEM.

What are you waiting for? That rescue ship isn't going to wait forever! Prepare yourself for a wild ride - and seriously, there is nothing like smashing through zombie-filled factories!

Make a console game? Hear me out.

Ok so I’m sure it must be hard to make a console game and a lot of time and effort would go into it but, I would like to suggest a console game. So I know that the developers have already made crash cars wick is kind of the theme I am suggesting. But with a twist! Ok so keep the the same art style of earn to die make more weapons similar to the ones currently available and make more vehicles maybe 10 more? And make it where it’s a large arena with 20 players or so and you have to destroy every car. But when a persons car is destroyed they can go on foot. Also make them be able to find another vehicle and weapons and maybe traps? I know this is a lot to ask but it seems like a good idea to me and please let me know what you think by responding

My review on Earn To Die:

I have no words this... GAME... IS. JUST. SO. FREAKING. AWSOME! It’s one if the best mobile games I have seen for a while. Lately it’s just been battle royal games, io games, and other crappy games where you click a png to make another png pop up so too see a game unlike all those is just great! I know those games technically are free but the fact this game is only 0.99$ is just crazy! It’s a steal! If one of the creators are reading this... you guys are doing great. Keep doing what you do best!

    Medium-sized, quality game

It takes several days to finish. I enjoyed it for a long time. This game started as a flash game but this app is a fully featured version of it. The only gripe is the micro transactions. While you can play the entire game without realizing they exist like I did, the only purchase that is actually worth it is the money doubler. All the other ones don’t make any sense. Paying for this game DOES make sense though. It’s worth it.

Make an earn to die three please

So let me get something straight, the second game has you grind SO much just to get one upgrade, for example to get the M4 on the mustang its $5500 and on the second course on the minor upgrades (lvl 2 armor, lvl 3 engine/transmission etc. etc.) and other than that I like absolute CHAOS games (bloons TD battles bullet hells etc.) and the first game is an absolute chaotic game, for example when you get to the army HumVee things turn into absolute CHAOS. But other than that this is kinda a review about both of the games so yeah both games 9/10. And Not Doppler please take action and add like gold bars to the game, for example 500 gold bars could be used to fully upgrade a vehicle, so yeah if you see this Not Doppler, please do this.

    Real fun but..

Hey! I recently bought this game about a week or two ago and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. For 99 cents, it really is a good bang for your buck and a good time waster. However that’s all it really is. After the 3rd or 4th new car, the game just gets repetitive and boring. As things get more expensive, progress just gets slower and slower. There are no new enemies and it’s just the same old same old. Don’t get me wrong, I like to see the cars get upgrades with the armor and weapons but for how long it takes to get said upgrades, the reward I get for doing so just doesn’t feel worth it. It will take me 4 or 5 runs of the same level to get a single price of armor for my vehicle, but still barely make it much farther than before. TLDR: Fun, but gets repetitive and upgrades don’t feel powerful enough for their pricing.

    Game creators

Great game graphics on point gameplay on point levels odd bc of the random vehicle section and the fact all the armor with front saws are the same and gets really old. One of the biggest most annoying problems I highly suggest fixing is the controls over time when you just really want to get to the next stop bc starting over same spot also gets old and boring, once your close for some reason you can’t hit your booster or gas anymore is works then doesn’t at all then you have to start again. Now idk if you did that on purpose so you can max out your parts or that’s actually a game bug but it needs fixing ASAP!!!! Please thank you and I recommend this game than the others!!

    Story mode is well

Story mode is the main mode but like it’s long it’s really long I’ve already done it I’m downloading it back right now yes I did delete it that’s because that I completed the game I got all the way to the dump truck and maxed it out and went on the boatI mean it gets boring after a while just well if you’re playing this the lite version is good because you’ve never played it before but once you get into the story mode on the full version it’s just boring

    Original is better

I like this game, but there are some things that frustrate me about it. First, the vehicles feel way underpowered, even when you're fully decked out. In the original, this wasn't a problem, since you could just get a new car if you had earned enough. However, in this sequel, you're stuck with the car that's available for that level and that's it. This creates a situation where every new level feels like the first level, because you're starting with a fresh car. The other thing that irks me is the fact that you can buy money. Other than that, the game is fine.

It’s not bad I mean the first ones better ........

It’s not that bad I mean .I think the first one was better. but this one it’s it’s it’s a little bit harder because I mean you have to finish the level to get onto the next car but it’s it’s also fun because there’s gas stations and that makes it a little bit easier I mean it’s also kind of making me mad that like when you change the tires it doesn’t look different when you like when you like teen stuff it doesn’t look different but I mean it’s still fun but I really like the first one better because I mean it’s just better it’s just more fun but this one’s gonna be fun because I mean I’m only on the first level in first get second gas station I only made made it one yeah station so I’m pretty excited to go like pretty much halfway across the country and I mean it’s gonna be fun but this is just my first review to start🚘🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️ first ones better keep that in mind.

Provides exactly 99 cents worth of entertainment

At 99 cents, I guess you can’t complain as this game gives you exactly what it costs. There’s absolutely nothing you can do wrong, your choices don’t matter, close your eyes and press gas until you run out. Then press boost. Then die, then respawn and use cash to buy upgrade. Repeat. Finish level and get a new car that is basically the same as previous car (Ferrari is as fast as the A team van and can traverse heights like a sand buggy). You earn more money per level and everything costs more but again, it’s not any more or less challenging. There absolutely no strategy for this game and the physics are atrocious.

Really predatory, grindy, and repetitive game which is extremely p2w

Let me just start off by saying this game is EXTREMELY grindy and time consuming. First few levels are fine, but after the 2nd, it takes WAY too long to even finish a level, because by the time your car is fully upgraded, the mission will be over and you will NOT be allowed to use old cars on new missions. Which is absolutely ridiculous because it defeats the purpose of grinding till you unlock every upgrade AND defeats the purpose of purchasing money. That brings me to the extremely predatory mechanic. So many times I've felt the need to just buy the money packs so I can get passed a stupid level, but I didn't. But not everyone will have self control like that and will cave in and buy the packs, WHICH BY THE WAY, ONLY gives you enough to unlock a few upgrades, and that's only for most EXPENSIVE pack. Really tried with this game, and I honestly wouldn't care if this game was free, BUT IT'S NOT. I had to pay for it, and then pay for upgrades unless I want to spend hours on a single level? No thanks. Also, the fact that EVERY. OTHER. GAMEMODE. is LOCKED until I finish the WHOLE STORY MODE, is absolutely predatory and scummy. Do not purchase this game, there are so many great games out there worth how much this game is. Don't waste your time!

    Earn to die 2

Loved the first one, never made a review about it because I wanted to play it through, so I did. Seen there was a second one, so I downloaded it. The first one is great, if your looking for strategic games this is not for you, just so you know, but it’s fun for passing time, or if you don’t have internet. It was amazing, but this one is what got me, and that explains the rating on the first game, your team didn’t care about anything but money, you literally made it possible beating the level/game without the car/vehicle from being maxed out, that is a bad mess up for the company trying to make the car pass a level without being all the way upgraded, that’s crazy, and not being able to play the next level as the fully upgraded car? Really? Should have tested your game out before releasing it. If it wasn’t right then you shouldn’t have released it yet. If you don’t improve please don’t make a third one or a spin off.

    Way too linear

This game does nothing to reward you for a good performance. The mechanic of driving is clean however your performance has little to no impact on how far your rig travels. There is no element of getting better as a player aside from buying more upgrades. Once you’ve spent hours grinding to get every upgrade then you clear the level. What’s the point in even driving if there are no hopes of clearing a level unless I have every upgrade? Once you complete a level rinse and repeat because the game doesn’t let you carry forward your fully upgraded rig. Sure the ice cream truck will be better eventually but let me run my old rig until I have enough for the new rig to reach parity. Further, let me take my new rig back to a prior level, what’s the fun in having a fully loaded rig if you only get to use it once? Let me dominate a prior level with the new fancier setup. Not worth your money. No reward just grinding.
