The goal in this game is to move all cards to 8 foundations by suit from A to K.
8 free cells are located at the top left corner of the screen, while the 8 foundations are located at the top right corner.
A card can always be moved onto a card that is one higher in rank and in a different color. You can move multiple cards together if they are ordered and there are enough free cells.
You can move any cards onto a free cell if it's empty.Tableau spaces may be filled with any card or card sequence.
You can move a card onto a foundation if it's in the same suit and one higher than the foundation's top card.
BUGS NOT FIXED
This is a fun and challenging game when it works. However, it seldom works correctly. All the problems listed by the other reviewers are true. Its very frustrating when cards disappear halfway through a game. PLEASE FIX THIS as I am hooked on this game. UPDATE. I wrote this review a week ago. Wow! The bugs seemed to have been fixed. Thank you. This is a fun and challenging game. Not for the amateur FreeCellers. Awesomely addictive.
Has a bug
Once in a while the upper right hand corner deposit cell freezes and rejects cards. When all other cells are filled it assumes that this one is occupied, too. Can’t quite figure out when it happens and how. One more thing: recently played a game and couldn’t finish. I wound up with 8 Kings but only 7 Queens and 7 Jacks. The discards were only up to the 7. How can that happen?
Games that can’t be solved
In playing this daily for a long time, I am finding games that can’t be solved because cards are missing.
Great first release
A fully-functional first edition. I'm looking forward to more options and settings, which I'm certain will come. I play Freecell on my phone or computer most days, Windows 10 has the double deck (or two deck) Freecell included, which is where I heard about it. By far I enjoy it.... Much more than the single deck version that I've been playing for 20 years! This is the only version I can find for the iPad, and I wish the developer immense success. A few quirks, a few annoyances, but it works!
Missing cards
It is a bit small which it is understandable because it is too decks. Wish you could zoom in. After a few games started getting a headache. My main issue is that I finally got it and was about to win a game, but couldn’t because it was missing a few cards from a deck. I noticed at least two missing cards. Felt like all my effort was for nothing.
GAME, APPLICATION STOPS
GAME STOPS AFTER PLAYING UNDER TWENTY CARDS! Repair this to get rating change
