    Absolutely love this game

I bought this game on my Xbox a while back and fell in love with it immediately so finding out it would come to the App Store made me more nervous than anything. I was afraid the game would be completely changed due to it being moved to a mobile device but there was nothing to worry about! The game is almost exactly like it is on the console. I just have a few things I’d like to see if possible. The first thing is customizable controls. I still get mixed up and use “A” for jump rather than attack/mine. I feel like if there was someway to customize the controls, it would be 6/5. Another thing is, when using “A” (or whatever button it would be to attack in future hint hint), to make that a kinda joystick as well. What kinda bothers me is that I have to take my finger of the button, scroll a little bit, and then continue to mine. I think it’d be easier as a player if that was a kinda “joystick” so you could look around while mining something rather than having to mine one block at a time. But those are really my only critiques. As far as the rest of the game, absolutely amazing job. Worth every cent

    Fun for the whole family!

I’ve been struggling to find something for my 7 year old to play, and this has turned out to be great fun for him and I both! I find that the AppStore lacks solid games for kids about his age; he’s mature enough that he wants action and quicker gameplay (he loves the first person perspective), but I don’t want the violence and gun themes that seem to be associated with most of those games. Most games that I deem to have appropriate content, don’t hold his attention for long. Also, on a slightly unrelated note, I find Minecraft to be a bit of a bore, personally, but the structure and rpg elements set this apart a great deal. Portal Knights meets both our needs. As an added bonus, we are both super exited about the co-op multiplayer, and since it’s WiFi only I don’t have to worry about weirdos chatting him up, or building offensive structures in the game. So long as you aren’t opposed to magic fireballs and fantasy beat-em’ up “violence” this is a great way to take your child back from Pixel Gun.

    Fun to play

This is an amazing game that combines Minecraft elements with our peaches strategy and development. I have really enjoyed playing, And plan on purchasing it for my kids to play with me over Wi-Fi as well. My Complaint is that sometimes objects and items go invisible and can’t be found. In addition sometimes you can see something but can’t pick it up or put it in your inventory. I found a really cool spell and it got dropped while I was arranging my Inventory. I couldn’t pick it up And eventually lost it. It was a big bummer because it was a rare find. Beyond that I love this game. I think it’s also neat that instances happen from zone to zone like invasions of skeletons or orcs. You never know when something special is going to happen, and it makes you feel like you are a part of something. It would be nice to have more special vendors for weapons and armor, and have a little more character development. I would love to see sub classes like necromancer.

    Buy This Game!!!

This game is beautifully designed and has amazing controls. The controls may take a while to learn, but once you spend time to learn it, everything goes quickly. The fights are interesting and fun, and although there are complaints about small worlds, there are 48 of them, which provides ample exploration. The worlds are randomly generated, but have the same buildings, which allows for some replay ability. The developers are in touch with the customers and respond to reviews, which is useful for bug patching. This said, the game could use some updates, and here are things I personally would enjoy to see. (In this order) 1 New classes. I would especially like a rouge with a lower Hp, medium damage, and the ability to turn invisible, a Barbarian that has high Hp, medium damage, and can sacrifice health to hit his axe on the ground and create shockwaves, and a necromancer that has mage abilities (but with less Hp and damage) that can summon undead. 2 Combat Pets. I like the current pets, and you should keep the cute little pets in the game, but also open a slot for bears, wolfs, etc... that are about as powerful as emerald parrots(level 1) and fight whatever you attack, and resurrect after 1 minute. 3 Online. I think this game clearly has to have a online version (top priority after classes and pets) and I would enjoy a version that allows you to play with people across the world.

    Great game, but...

Hello! This is a fantastic game and you should consider buying it, it is worth every penny. The combat system is well done, and the variety of buildings you can make is enormous. There are 48 worlds for you to explore, as well as event world that occur randomly. Now, I have a small problem with the new update. My home happens to be in Fort Finch, and I don’t want to move it, as that would be very difficult. But I also want to experience all the new features, so could you please add an update so if you have Fort Finch as your home island you can make the new shops somewhere else? That would be great. Overall though, this game is great. One last thing: Please make it so you can’t roll unless you’re in combat. This has screwed me up many times over, so please fix that! Thanks! EDIT: To solve the Fort Finch problem, I created a new universe so I can bring the stuff from there to my home universe.

    Awesome!!!!

Edit- With the addition of controller support this game is a clear 10 out of 10! If your debating purchasing it, it is definitely worth it! ——————————— This game is great! Excellent graphics, clever design and well executed on iOS. I’ve just started my journey into this amazing world and am so glad I picked this up. I’ve tried this game out on an older iPad (Air) as well as on an iPhone 7 and it looks great on both. I can see the need to limit the island size on older devices but it really doesn’t take much away from the experience imho. My one wish would be for controller support. My iPhone is my primary mobile gaming device and I use it with a controller and a clip that holds it in place. This game would be great with that set up. Controller support would take this game from a 9 to a 10 and I hope you guys add it at some point. For now this is still an amazing game and truly deserves 5 stars!

    Favorite

This is my favorite game I have played on my phone in a really long time. Especially in this genera. Minecraft is great but I love the rpg aspect of this game. The only problems I have is sometimes in normal sized worlds the random generation will spawn a portal in a place that is not easy to find and you have to dig around to find it. Granted some dungeons have “hidden entrances.” The other one is whenever I go into first person the frame-rate drops significantly. I love the feature of being able to switch between them. But I feel like I can’t use first person right now. So it is annoying in dungeons. Things I love is the progression system, perks, and variety of “biomes” and creatures. I hope in the future they make the worlds and bosses more random by adding more variety. So they aren’t the same every universe. Thank you for the addictive game that I will enjoy going full completion it’s on.

This is a game you should play with friends

This game is real fun to play with friends and family but when you are alone it can get pretty hard. It’s really cool how there are dungeons and mini bosses and real bosses but it can be hard for people that can’t tap very fast. This game doesn’t depend on being fast or anything it just depends on what you like to play. If you like adventures and building new armor and weapons. For you younger kids it is fun to play because it has keep inventory and helps the younger one not rage quit like Minecraft. In my opinion it is a game for everyone but you should just make sure you have someone you can play with when fighting the bosses. This is what I think of the game and if you can play with me remember my name is “the first hero” so if you would like help just find me and I can help you.

Great game, never perfect but worth it

I love this game, it's one of my favorite time wasters and I have it for other platforms too. A lot of reviews are about the awkward controls and I really hope they patch the iPhone version. Someone suggested making the button double as the right joystick I think, which makes sense because you have to move your finger painfully far to look around otherwise. But I have a different suggestion! If we use the third person camera, add an option to let the character move absolute to the screen view, so that up moves them to the top of the screen and so on. They can just lazy-target whatever's in front of them and you can switch to first person for construction and such. That way you don't have to worry about the camera controls at all if you just want to grind five minutes before bed or something. Just have it be like an old top-down RPG that targets the most obvious thing in front of you without the crosshair.

    Falsely informed.

I thought this game had a global multiplayer didn't realize the only multiplayer on it is local/same wifi. Other than that I love the game but I'll rate it 5 stars once I get to experience the game with other people on a none local network. Or perhaps there's something I'm missing either ways if it's possible to play global multiplayer then there needs to be some sort of instruction because... I can't find it. If there isn't then you guys should try working on a way to make it happen, I know that creating a game and fixing bugs and improving it isn't easy, it's just that a more advanced multiplayer would help this game live on longer. Take junk jack for instance many people played it so they can get to play with other players and trade with each other, but ever since Game Center changed and the multiplayer died out, junk jack has lost its high fame and play rate.

Luvs it but plz make graphics better /:)

Hello listen up I’m a nice kid k? Soooo listen to this I love it! It’s a fun car game but sometimes a bit laggy when I turn up the graphics so can you please fix that and make it look a bit like the ps4 Xbox and switch edition? By the way it’s a great game I wanted it for years and I finally got a gift card ;) anyways I love it and can’t wait to get a response it’s really amazing but please make it to where the npcs like Rupert and etc misc walk and wander around that would get 5 star ratings and I would tell almost everyone so if you could make better graphics and make npcs wander around I would see if the AppStore would allow me to rate 10 stars please make them wander around can wait to get a developer response telling whether or not you could make them run from enemies and wander I rate full five stars plz make them run wander and socialize:)

    Disappointed Gamer

I really enjoy this game but for the second time. When I attempt to update this game it says that it can’t update the app at this time. This happened with the last update and I couldn’t update it. So I deleted it and tried to redownload it expecting that it would have saved my save data. I was wrong, lost everything. And now here I am again an update has come out and it won’t let me update the game. Yet I can update all the other hundreds of games and apps I have on my phone (iPhone X) Edit: the developer response suggests that I attempt to use a different WiFi and or restart my phone (the first two things that any competent person would do when something goes wrong, which I did) as I mentioned I have countless games and apps that are updated on my phone daily. Yet this game doesn’t update twice. Perhaps this issue Isn’t with the actual coding but some sort of App Store glitch. Regardless as the maker of the app I’d make it my priority to find out why it’s happening and get the responsible party to fix the problem. I’ll give it a three star instead of one seeing as it may not directly be the developers fault but it is still an issue that is unique to this game and in my opinion the responsibility of the dev.

    Case

Bad news- leveled to thirty, beat the hollow king four times- no drops- nothing... no gems, minerals; certainly not the astral heart which kind of closes the door on the games finish. Beat him in the middle of the platform at least once so they are not going over the edge as some, on-line, have suggested...huh? Freezing in between portals is still a problem but can be circumvented through closing out and reloading. Updated on latest iOS etc. When I am at the portal screen and your download status bar is filling it will stop at about 1/4, and no longer progress. The portal cut-scene will continue to play so it appears that you are visually progressing but the load status bar will freeze. The only way to exit is close and reopen- thankfully your load times are short. Attempted to go back through a new world to give the game another chance to work but once you level to thirty, except for recipe drops any progress potential dies. Did not have the replay-ability to warrant going back through to reactivate the portals just to get the end boss drops. Entertaining to a point but ultimately disappointing due to glitches.

    Fantastic, but..

I truly enjoyed the pc version and was excited to see this game in the App Store. Being able to play a sandbox game on the go with my phone sounded like a sweet idea. After playing for a bit, the game drove me nearly insane with one simple issue. The flick evade controls are horrible. Simply trying to step to the side to place the next block shouldn’t send me diving off a cliff (in more ways than one). Please add an option to have an evade button near the A&B buttons. It is unbelievably frustrating to build on a pixelated tight rope, only to dash off your platform to your death. Even in creative mode, it is near impossible to build anything without rolling all over the place. (Yes, even though you can fly I still find myself rolling half the time by nicking a surface) If it weren’t for that, I would honestly give a 4 or 5 star rating. Personally, I would like the layout to stay the same (action button above the A&B buttons). Just resize it a little and add the evade button to the left of the A&B buttons.
