After hours of time killing bathroom breaks, the knowledge of sudoku has been bestowed upon me. Change your background, set your intensity... and become enlightened with the gift of filling in squares with numbers. Your life will immediately improve as you continue to advance in the game. When I pay for things, I always give exact change, and I don't even look. My logic is imperturbable and impossible. Sudoku has made me a secret agent. I've said too much... get the app Oh did I mention you can change the color and it's UI is the best of the other ones you've already looked at? Haha

This sudoku app is bright, and singular in its own way, without disrupting the original way of playing sudoku too much. You have options for what kind of gameplay you would like (telling you if you're right or wrong, automatically filling in blocks with one cell left, etc...). You can turn off these options and play regularly. You can also choose what level of difficulty you would like. Overall I would say this app brings sudoku intact but upgraded, and able to be played on portable devices, anywhere.

This Sudoku game is honestly THE BEST, FREE and CUSTOMIZABLE sudoku game on the app store. This app kept me entertained for hours and I have been searching for a good sudoku game for a while now, and after finding this game I couldn’t ask for more. If you’re looking for a free sudoku app that you can customize to the look you love (including having a shown timer, number colors and move suggest), this app is COMPLETELY for you!! Thank you so much for creating this app. I know I (and lots of others) will continue to enjoy this app for a long time to come.

I paid for the full version and played before with no issue. I loaded it today and was bombarded with ads. I uninstalled/reinstalled and it’s still doing it. When I find it in the App Store it has it checked that I’ve purchased the ad free version, but when I download and install it I’m still getting ads. I clicked on “restore purchases” and it says it can’t do it and to try again later, same thing when I click “remove ads”. I’m at a loss.

I purchased the ad free version a year or so ago. Since this new update 2 weeks ago the app is trying to make me buy premium again. Even though it says in my App Store that I already purchase premium. I re-downloaded the app and pressed the Restore Purchases button three times and it finally worked. Weird, hopefully it doesn’t become a reoccurring problem.

I love this app! It is very colorful and the settings are easily accessible and there are four different levels, easy, medium, hard, and expert. This would be a five star rating if it weren't for the ads. They don't even give you a pop up! You don't touch the screen and the app redirects you to the App Store. It gets very annoying because as soon as you re-open the app, it gives you a video ad where you have to "play" the ad to make it go away. I am on the verge of deleting this app because of this as it gets VERY annoying and not worth it for 5 seconds of play before being bombarded with the App Store. My apologies to anyone looking for a sudoku app. If you hate ads don't download this app. If this gets fixed I will certainly change this review. Thanks for reading as I know this is long.

So first things first, I JUST LOVED the design of the sudoku numbers and all of the the , all of that... But the worst thing is the adds, I know you could just like close it in one second and be gone with it and just keep doing sudoku, but It's really annoying to me, or a lot other people who don't really like adds( like meh) ,And also when you about to be done, it seems it fills out the answer, the few last boxes or the few last number. It might not be annoying to you, but it is to me, I just don't like it that ( stupid way, also no offense, I'm really sorry if it is to you...) way.... And P.S I play trans for mice @ I'm wisteria moon;)

All sudoku apps are not created equal. They are very close, but this one read my mind. I am visually impaired, so playing games like this on a device as small as an iPhone can get frustrating. I tried a handful of sudoku apps, and this is the only one that color codes the numbers. Simple? Yes. That’s why it shocks me that no one else (that I tried) had thought of this! I have to knock off one star for the fact that I can’t change the numbers within the multicolored blocks from white to black. Make that an option and you’ll have my love forever! It’s not easy reading white on yellow...

Really like being able to turn off various functions and customize color schemes. The UI is modern and clean and animations are minimal and functional. If you tap a number it will switch to a grey color scheme while keeping the selected number highlighted in the boxes making it easier to visualize where the number is missing. Overall a very attractive UI and enjoyable experience. Would love to see landscape mode added with number column on the right or left (user can choose in setting).

The graphics are great, and I love the customizable color schemes. It would be helpful if there were more contrast between the lines that separate the larger boxes and the background circles/squares. The selection of difficulty levels is the best I have seen among sudoku apps. The app could do without the excessive animations, which slow down the flow of the game. Also, it would be great if there were an undo button, rather than having a selective eraser that only works when you’ve made an incorrect move. This makes the game a lot easier than it should be, which is not useful when you are trying to improve your strategy. It would also be useful if the number highlighting were not automatically turned off when selecting a certain box on the grid. All in all, this is great app. Definitely among the best as far as visual presentation goes, but game functionality could be improved substantially. I think this app deserves closer to 3.5 stars.

I didn't like this app at all. It was attractive at first -- cute enough that I paid and upgraded to have the numerous ads removed -- but it wasn't as good as I thought. My biggest pet peeve is how everytime you enter a number, it does this highlight thing where it shows you all the other locations of the number you just entered. There's no setting to remove it and it's incredibly distracting and time-wasting. There’s also no way to see which ones are the answers and which ones are the pre-populated ones. It loads fairly slowly, too, and all that unnecessary effects get in the way of the game. The numbers are not that bad responsive and if you accidentally put it a number as an answer instead of a note — and if that number happens to be correct, it won’t let you delete it. Which is frustrating because I don’t want to win easily. Overall, it's for casual, infrequent players. For those who play more frequently, I recommend other sudoku apps that's less frills and more sustance.

I used to recommend this app as the best visual experience for playing Sudoku. I paid for the full version 2 years ago because I loved the color palette and minimal aesthetic that allowed me to focus on the puzzle itself. However, with the the latest update, I no longer feel comfortable recommending it and may even uninstall it. I understand incentivizing people to pay for the full version, and paid to remove ads years ago when they were full screen 30-second spots. Now there is an obnoxious remix of Futurama and Rick & Morty clips that cannot be muted or stopped the moment you open the app. If this were April 1st that would be one thing, but surprising the user in this way seems like an exploitative way to push them to the ad-less version. I'm glad I paid before this update because I would hate to support this marketing tactic.

I’ve had this app on my phone for years and loved it. It’s a beautiful game, simple design and I love the colors. I had even paid for the full version. After a new update a few months ago the ads are back and I’ve tried to hit “restore purchases” but nothing worked. I have no desire to pay for it again, so have been playing with adds. They are more annoying than before. My real issue is that today an “ad” that was a very graphic porn clip popped up in the middle of playing. I canceled out of it and deleted the game. This happened once before a week or so ago.. I laughed it off and forgot about it until today. Obviously it’s something to be concerned about. I noticed a couple other commenters have had this problem. Developers (possibly Apple as well) need to address this before a child sees it.

This app was great for about a week or two, with the usual ads that you can exit after a certain amount of time. However, recently it has been a mess - you are constantly brought to the app store for a handful of different apps that never appeared as an ad on the screen, and it doesn’t matter if you click anywhere or not, it automatically redirects you without any control. Not only does it make the game unplayable because you are being redirected nonstop, but it seems fishy and it isn’t fair to impose like this on users. Delete the app right away before it happens to you in case it is some kind of virus or something else harmful.
