Guys, you should SO make a school addition because more kids should know about the things that are in the game. Can you add religions to the game because I am Christian but I also have respect for the Catholic Church because they believe in God and the Holy Bible. But I disagree VERY strongly with religions that don't believe in the Bible or God but if I saw them In person I would have respect for them, I also know a bit of the religion of the Egyptians, Confucianism, and would like to learn about Catholics and Islam although I don't believe or follow Muslims or Catholics (which I understand that they believe in God but what they also believe in like Mary, Queen of Heaven, and all others which they call brothers, sisters, I think cousins and fathers. That is the only thing I don't believe or understand. Can you teach us all about that stuff in an update please?

The update has some fun new things but it is confusing! Took a while to figure out where everything went and what it is now. Should have been some instructions before it just changed everything! Do not like the new passport ! Now I canny see what I might have needed to do in another country. Is there a way to see it ? If so, where ? Should have left the passport alone! Also, I liked being able to choose how I wanted to travel to another county. Now, at least if I am right , you just go with the transportation that comes up and spend what it says , not what you want to spend! If now of this is correct ! I need instructions! Loved the games but now I’m very confused by it !

The rating would be 5-star if they fix the bugs. Very enlightening and entertaining. Traveling to different cities and fulfilling missions makes this the most entertaining trivia game ever. However, there have been several times when the shopkeeper has ripped me off, charging one price but then taking much more money than originally charged. Once the game took $20,000 from me when I bought an item for around $6,000. Another time, 45 tickets disappeared as I traveled from one country to another. Frustrating as it’s been, I’m sticking with it again. Not sure I will stick with it if another huge loss like $20,000 or 45 tickets happens again.

Why do I have 23 pepper sprays that I apparently can't use to sleep on the street? I have to pay 350 coins to sleep on the street for a mere 40 %energy...why bother when I can stay at the hotel for 50 coins more for 100% energy. So why do things cost so much when we resell them for tiny amounts..i.e. Pepper sprays cost 350 and sell for 60. I am in Toronto and need 20 nights sleeping on the street but I will not do that since it costs too much. Also I take 2 pages of notes on the sites and some of the questions asked are ridiculously trivial and are not even covered on Wikipedia and then I have to spend more bucks which I am always low on. Mostly I am addicted to the game..keeping a notebook now.

I enjoy trivia and travel, so this is a fun app! But it would be nice to have a way to learn about a city while you’re in it; like a virtual library where we can chose to read about that city... also, some of the jobs/ games are overly difficult... there should be a short video of “how to” or other Explanation/ instructions and some of could be a little lighter on the difficulty level. There’s really no limit to great ideas to make this app more attractive, like actual photos or short video clips of that city and its culture, that would could assist in learning about an area. No matter where you are actually from in the world, playing this game can be fun, although there are some language barriers... that of course would exist in real travel, although we would have a tour guide or some type of assistance, so that could also be a option- to have a virtual tour guide. The app is a great idea, and there are endless ideas to make it better and attractive to a wider age range, by even having an age level selection. Thanks

I have been playing for a while now. I love learning about new countries. I like the improvements made to the jobs with the spinning of the wheel so you don’t keep getting turned down for jobs you need. I am frustrated a little because the last few days it says to click for my daily bonus which I do every morning. I click and it doesn’t give it to me. I am thinking this is a bug that needs to be fixed. Also I just finished Lima. The city I am told to go to next I had to google and it in English is Munich. However, this is the new city for me and at the time I had to weight 80 hours or pay. I cannot pay my phone does not allow due to the plan I have so I have to wait. Before, all locations I was sent on were cities I had available and had not yet been to, and I know I have not received all the stars in all the places yet. Those are the only two things I do not currently care for. I rated it 4/5 stars. Edit to original: Since the change the jobs have gotten boring. It is like they. Ever Change.

I Keep getting the message that “it seems you have no connection to the Backpacker World, check your internet connection and press reload.” I can’t reload the app. My Internet connection on my mini IPad 4 and my iPhone is working perfectly, so the problem is not with my Internet connection. I tried deleting the app, restarting my IPad and iPhone and reinstalling the app and that did not work. I didn’t have this problem until you updated Backpacker to the latest version.

I am having a lot of fun with this game! My two biggest issues are 1, I keep getting stuck without enough tickets to complete the challenges I need to move on to the next city, so I end up just wasting time answering the same questions over and over until I can get more tickets. I’m obviously not going to spend any actual money on a game, but I guess that is just the nature of the beast with apps like this? And 2, some of the jobs are actually impossible. The memory expert job is insane. I am a fairly intelligent, competent person, and I can’t even get close to finishing that one. Also some of them need more explanation, like the soccer goal game took me a few times before I figured out actually how to shoot the ball and not just have it roll in at a painstakingly slow pace causing me to waste all of the time I had. Overall I’m still having fun, but I wish there was a way to get unstuck in some of these places.

I love trivia games and learning new things. This game fulfills both. Interesting questions and topics. Only a few grammatical errors so far (unemployed copyeditor here) or questionable “job” categories. As for the new update, I really like the new opportunity to add to the “jobs” with categories and questions of our own. I was a little saddened at first when the first few Review Questions I got were either spam or troll or just someone checking out the new feature with nonsense. But then came some with definite potential, if they were actually formed as questions. Plus, atrocious grammar and punctuation. I did say unemployed copyeditor, didn’t I? I hope the creators do fix and correct any of these “job creations” before allowing them into the actual game. Maybe they have someone who’s job is solely copy editing? Keep up the good work otherwise.

I enjoy learning what this game has to teach, and it’s fun, but now that I’m four or five cities in, I am starting to feel like “same old same old.” It would be far more fun if it was a hunt for something, with clues in each city, or if there was a question that randomly gave a clue, which could be stored in the backpack. Or maybe you’d need to go find an item in a store that would help. Or make it so we can sell some of the souvenirs, or trade for info. It’s fun as is, but could be so much more. Also...ironically, in a game made by people “saving the world from stupidity”, the info center people have misspelled words in their welcome messages. “It’s” instead of “its” is the most common, but I’ve seen others.

The game is a lot of fun overall. There are some issues that are really annoying, however. The biggest problem is that I have with the game I have to do with the job diplomas. Too often, I keep getting options for jobs I’ve already completed and have one the diploma for. Additionally, on a very frequent basis, I call and get rejected. This is quite annoying and frustrating. Furthermore, there is way too much emphasis on sports trivia in the game. Some of the non-trivia jobs are ridiculously hard making it almost impossible to get a diploma. There is an option to submit questions that could be potential used as trivia for jobs. I have done a number of these but I’ve never received any credit under the area we’re supposed to get coins for being an apprentice etc. also, I’ve never seen any of the jobs I’ve created come up as job options so I don’t even know if these ever get used in a game or not. I’d love to see additional cities and jobs added with updates.

I really like this trivia game and have been playing for a while. I enjoy the different city questions that are specific to country or the city your in but my biggest complaint comes from the jobs and diplomas section. First off it's so frustrating to call and apply to 5 available jobs and get turned down to all of them which has happened to me more times than I can count especially since that's where you earn the most money. On top of that the games alogrithims turn you down 70% of the time if you're trying to do an 'Expert' level one but you can guarantee that it will let you into do the ‘Astronaut- Junior’ job every time! No ones wants to do the same job over and over again, especially the ‘game’ jobs. The astronaut junior one comes up 80% of my days and the game automatically loses its appeal. Second major disappointment in the jobs and diplomas is that it’s so heavy handed with sports trivia. Not everyone likes sports and when only 5 are available each day and 4/5 are sports related it's also no longer fun to spend energy on questions you can't answer correctly because you don't know names of every sports legend. I know this game allows you to submit other jobs and diplomas but I'm not necessarily good at coming up with trivia questions so it would be nice if the game would provide something more than baseball, football, tennis, sportscasters, and soccer jobs the majority of game.

The new update is a disappoint in so many ways. The previous version had it’s fair share of issues, however, the new update did not solve any of those. Simply, made it worse. Getting turned down for jobs even if they were brand new ones was an issue with the previous version. Now in the new update you HAVE to spin the wheel for jobs so you keep getting jobs you have ALREADY completed and achieved....what is the point except to waste spins??? The solution should have been to not offer jobs that are already completed or give people the option to select which job to apply for like the previous version. I used to play this game non-stop but now I keep getting the SAME exact jobs that I’ve already done. It’s frustrating and disappointing. The glitches on the update are never ending. The screen keeps remaining black even when you sleep at the hotel. The new user interface for the update itself is very mediocre. It looks worse than it did before the update which is quite ironic. I hope the job issues, glitches, and design of the game are updated to something better so I can continue to play this game. I used to love it and would like to continue but without changes to this update, the game has become disappointing.

This game was fun, but you finish the cities and then there is nothing to do but the jobs. Then they release a new city and they want you to complete jobs, but they don’t release any new jobs at the city. I am stuck at Madrid since they released it with only 3 out of 10 job diplomas. I’ve only collected 354 out of 460 diplomas, but none of the 106 jobs I haven’t completed yet are in Madrid. I’ve switched newspapers, gone through months of backpacker days, and left and returned to Madrid. They still don’t have any new jobs and it is impossible to complete the task. They should let you sell your diplomas or use tickets to skip the task if they are going to make it impossible for long time players to complete the tasks. If you just downloaded the game, don’t do any jobs unless it’s a task. That way you’ll be able to complete their impossible tasks at later cities. Also, there was never a mission where you had to deliver something from Cape Town to Madrid. Those boxes in their fancy new opening are always blank. Alingsas, Gothenburg, and Malmo are in the passport are not destinations. If these are going to be new cities, the task better not include diplomas. They will really show they hate the long time players if they make this a task.
