Great but... the self promotion ads
I love this game, it’s one of the best simple sniper games, the graphics are good surprisingly, I prefer the cartoon feel of the game to other more realistic graphics. The storyline is entertaining and the interrogation missions are fun. My only problem with the game is the self promotion of its own app, the company made a sequel “Clearvision 4” and while I want to play it I’m assuming the storyline continues so I’d rather play number 3 first. The thing is I’ve already downloaded it, I have both clearvision 3 and 4 on my phone so the ads are annoying I already plan on playing the 4th so I wish they would reduce the frequency of these ads The normal ads I understand they make money from the game and they deserve to make money cause it’s a great game but the ads for the sequel are a bit cumbersome.
Love this game,but
Thank you for making this game it is awesome, but I'm not in favor about the energy meter. I don't like that I have to stop playing for 20 minutes just to fill up my energy. Don't get me wrong it is a very well thought out game, and overall very fun. I also have to add that, it would be nice to have an account recovery system. I played this game on my phone and I was irritated that all guns were not there when I went into this game, under the same Game Center account, on my iPad. If you updated and fixed these things or improved this game it would be a more successful game than it is. Keep it up!
Great Time "Killer"
I'm use to playing the other versions of this game as well as games like it. The stick figure concept was always great to me. And in this the animations are very clean. There are a good amount of missions and they are fairly easy to complete until the higher levels. This game would have definitely gotten a 5 Star had it not been for a couple minor tweaks. 1.) There are very limited weapon choices, it is possible for customization on the weapons and they work pretty well through the entire game. I'd just like to see more of a variety. And not just 3. 2.) You will almost be guaranteed to spend money on this game. To even do the Interrogation missions you must spend Red Crosshairs which are almost exclusively purchased with actual money. And to get your upgrades quicker it is a lot easier to drop $1.99 every so often to get a couple notches on the gun. Though these issues are mainly minor because almost all games come with some sort of way to get more money out of you. So this isn't a huge issue. I see a lot of people complain about energy but it only takes 3mins to gain 1 energy back and you max out at 20/20 so it only takes an hour to get all of it back. That is incredibly fast compared to some games so I actually like it a lot. Great game, definitely try it!
It's really good but it does has some flaws
I'm a good fan of the first two clear visions and I'm glad that this still has the same mechanics from the previous, but there are things that make CV3 less enjoyable. The energy system isn't too bad but it does limit play time by a good amount. One of the main things is that you need A LOT of money in order to buy upgrades. Without them, the missions can get very frustrating and earning money in this game can be painstakingly slow. The "honest jobs" was a nice touch, but even then can it take a very long while to accumulate more money. The thief missions are ok, but you risk having to "lay low" for a long-ish period of time and it's pretty irritating to wait through. You can buy tokens to help you though the game but, like money, it will take a long while to get a good amount of them. Buying them is an option but you still need to buy a lot if you don't want to have a hard time. Overall, it's a pretty fun game, but it would be even better if money wasn't so hard to come by and/or all the upgrades weren't so expensive
It's Pretty Good
I'm only a few hours into the game, but I'm happy to say that I'm enjoying it. I love the attention to detail in all of the animations, it's all pretty well planned out. There are only two things that bug me a little. One is the currency. You don't gain currency as fast as you need it to upgrade your weapons for certain missions. Normally this would be fine, but I'm pretty far back in the game, and the only thing I can do to gain more is to bet in the Fight Club (which brings me to point number 2). I feel a lot of people will use this Fight Club the same way I do, to earn money. The problem is that it's the same animation EVERY time, with two different end results. And each animation lasts about a minute, with the end variance being maybe five seconds long. I would suggest maybe making different animations to spice things up here. Maybe a unique fight between each different character that ends in two ways. This may sound like a lot for a side-activity, but I feel it would make the Fight Club so much more enjoyable. But yeah that's it. A pretty solid game thus far!
Will There Ever be a True Ending?
3 Years have passed, but, there is no true ending to Clear Vision. The levels are really fun to play and the Sniper Rifles used to upgrade are a really great idea, but there haven't been any more levels in the future. Clear Vision 1 and 2 were really fun to play and I liked how you were able to buy many Sniper Rifles in the game to improve your target skills. I do like that this game is free, but I never liked that you had to pay a certain amount of money in order to play the first 2 games. If it is possible, I would really like to see an ending to explain what happens to Tyler, his wife Diana, and his daughter in the end to see if the police will either track him down or not be able to find out who Tyler is. You guys have made an exceptional Sniper Adventure for everyone to enjoy, and I hope there will be a true ending to see how the series will conclude.
Its Fun For Awhile
I had alot of fun..... for awhile. But I hate the energy system it doesn't make amy sense! Thats not how things should work! I go over somewhere shoot someone and then get up and leave and somehow I lost a ton of energy? I barley used any! And don't say it's because it's just so intense and on his toes that he gets a huge burst of energy and then later loses it because he does this for a living its not like it's his first time every time. He barley did any work it should take almost no energy. So get rid of that. And also I want more story than just a cut scene here and there. And my final complaint is how certain levels require certain guns or attachments so you have to go back and start all the way over but somehow keep the coins and do this multiple times to get the gun required. This is always a TERRIBLE way to make a game! Back tracking REPEATEDLY makes a game bland, repetitive, and seem like a ploy to get money! Another reason it is just an awful idea is because it takes away ANY replay ability. Also the things that can be done at home seem pretty empty. You have to enter the house and then go through 2 doors with a loading screen each to get to the only place that you can really do anything. Most of the rooms have no point at all.
Oh.
I played the previous two games, and they were great, and I had high expectations for this one, but it is not that good. So the first problem I have with this game is the energy system. I loathe this in apps. You have to wait every 5 minutes for the thing to go up. I guess it is supposed to be realistic, but get this: if you don't want to wait, you can pay TWO THOUSAND AND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A PIECE OF CARAMEL?!? The developers just threw realism out of the door with that decision. The next problem is that the game advertised customizable weapons, but as far as I know, there are three weapons!!! Only three! And the last thing I have a problem with is the ads. I will be in the middle of a session and an ad pops up. There were none in the first two games that annoyed you. "Oh but you can just wait until you can skip it, only five seconds." Uh, the ads also lag. Okay, here are some ideas for the next games, add a sort of unlimited mode or whatever, so we can keep playing after we finish the game. That's pretty much what I want to be in the next game.
Some fun but needs work
I love the stick a nation look to it. I enjoy playing the game and shooting. I don't like that to play some missions you have to spend money. Sometimes you shoot and it's a straight shot. sometimes there are variables and I thought I could hit him or was close enough and it needed adjustment and it said i missed? What? I also do not like how there is not more of some kind of clear tutorial that teaches you how to shoot better and how to compensate for wind and how much of a height above the guy you will need. Sometimes I try to shoot the right amount off and compensate up and left etc.... for variables and it's still wrong. Sometimes I don't get what I did wrong and I shoot all over the place at and around his head and I'm like what? Why isn't it working? Need more clear shot info for what's required to do for missions. Needs a great and clear tutorial. And clear labeling for silencers and gun pieces. And how much a different bullet will help info. Needs work. -M4gic_man Needs work. Would love to see a new and improved game.
Problems with making money...
The game is great and I would definitely recommend this to someone! There are many ways to make money doing jobs such as a dishawasher, plumer, scientist, carpenter, janitor, etc. However, these jobs give you a small amount of money and if you need a weapon upgrade or need to get more energy, I suggest you find another way of making money since those give you little amounts of money. You can also make even more money by pickpocketing, mugging, stealing cars, doing a heist, and going to a fight club and voting on who will win based on their statistics. I need a lot of money myself since the mission I need to do has the wind 45 and distance up to 12,000 and the max my scope can have is -35 to 35 wind and the distance being from 0 to 10,000. This is forcing me to upgrade my gun’s body. The game is overall really good, it just has some problems with making money. I hope the developers realize this and make earning money easier.
Disappointed Fan
While the other two games were fun, the third installment will try its hardest to prevent you from having any sort of fun. The energy system ensures that you won't be able to play for more than five minutes at a time. You do not get enough money to upgrade your weapon to the level the game expects it to be, and the other two guns are not at all a factor. If you want any of the main currency, your options are to either watch an animation (which is an eight second loop) for a couple minutes at a time, or you can watch a ten second animation which might not even give you any money. The only worthwhile crime to commit is the ruby heist, which has an eighty percent chance of preventing you from doing anything at all for TWO HOURS. With the energy and the "laying low" mechanics, it seems like the devs were trying to make you stop playing the game. If I had to fix the game, I would make everything cost less energy and instead of "laying low" you should have to pay a bail. This game has so much potential that was thrown away and replaced with micro transactions.
Disappointing Freemium Game
I was a huge fan of the previous installments of this series, so I was looking forward to "part three". Unfortunately the makers of this game fell deep into the abyss of the "freemium" platform on this one. First off, you have "special missions" which can only be accessed by redeeming tokens. In most "freemium" style games you earn these tokens throughout the course of normal gameplay (albeit at a slowish rate) and are presented with the option to buy them in bulk. CV3 does both of thise things however the rate at which tokens are earned (ie. obtained freely) is laughably slow. On top of that, once you spend the tokens to "unlock" the special missions they don't actually "unlock". You have to spend credits EVERY time you want to replay the mission. The gameplay is mostly on par with the prior games but it is tainted by the notion that the developers expect you to spend money constantly to truly enjoy all aspects of the game. Two stars from me and it was honestly hard to give it that.
Unplayable for any length of time
You can tell a lot of time went into developing this game. I love that the cut scenes are well-made and enjoyable to watch. However, when watching them, my phone will lock if I’m not doing anything. Also, no setting to turn the sound off without turning my volume all the way down. The worst part, though, is that without paying real money, the upgrades required become too steep and the game becomes unplayable. My example: I’ve spent ALL of my in-game currency on upgrades to my weapon’s power, which is supposed to reduce the amount of windage and distance adjustments required to hit your target, BUT I currently cannot pass any missions because with windage and distance adjustments, the targets are COMPLETELY out of my scope view EVEN despite upgrading only power! To add insult to this, I have no other upgrades so I can’t combat fog, instability, or anything and each mission gets worse on all fronts. The upgrades have done almost nothing to help! I literally am stuck and can’t pass any missions. Sometimes the required distance adjustment puts my scope LITERALLY OFF THE SCREEN which, of course I can’t actually do, so there’s no existent way to pass that mission without an upgrade, which I can’t afford because I have no money, and I can’t earn more money because I can’t pass any missions! I literally can’t play the game any more. I can try, but I can’t do anything with it.
This is not a game...
I'm not sure what passes for a game these days, but this is isn't it. First of all it wants you to attempt these theft missions but if you fail it locks you out of doing anything in the game for a certain amount of time so you can't even play the game that they made for you to play. The only way to defeat that is to buy the little bull's-eye tokens using real money so they want to take your cash to let you play their freemium game. I spent four dollars on the game total to get the more powerful rifle but it still asked you for a crazy amount of points to redeem to build your weapon up or to proceed past one or two missions. Basically in order to complete this game you need to spend about $50 which is absolute BS. Wise up and change the format of this game if you want anyone to play it. Who is going to play a game that makes them wait during "side jobs" and then locks you out of an unsuccessful theft mission. Currently waiting 45 minutes being locked out of your game...what a waste. I'd give it a pyle of crap instead of a star if I could.
