Great game that has provided me with many hours of enjoyment and challenges! I have met many nice people to play this fun game with and do so on a daily basis. Great fun and a true test of improving ones vocabulary. Of course, there is also the other side of this where ones opponents get on games to troll other players with abusive language and threats because you are winning. I do have to say that after lodging a complaint and providing them with the proper information to track this person down I have no longer been harassed. I thank them for taking care of that scary situation and their efforts to provide a threat free environment and a great and fun gaming experience for all.

I notice they use words like st and other weird combos. That you can use in words for friends. I study what other players put down. I don’t know if people at cheating. There are no cheat apps for this app. They have a two word dictionary for this app. So if you see st you know it’s valid then. Sometimes I just put words together like wets. It was luck for me lol.

This is a great game that keeps your mind sharp. Love playing it but since I did update last week I cannot get game to load maybe 1 out of 10 times I try. Contacted support but never heard back. Guess I will have to start looking for a new word game, any suggestions?

Love this game! Very bummed that the stats showing number of games won/lost with each friend are gone. We always commented within the game about those stats as I have been playing with my friends for a long time. It made the game more fun. Bring them back please! 5 stars down to 4!

I really like this game but lately I’ve had it lock up a lot and I had to delete it and reinstall from cloud. This has not happened in the past.

I have been playing this game for a long time. I play against other people but also against the computer. Recently, the computer started playing words that are definitely not real words. I contacted the developers and they said they don't use any online dictionaries and just use their own. So basically the computer can play anything and they can just say it's in their dictionary. I even checked to make sure I didn't accidentally switch languages, but nope, still English. It's very frustrating. I would have easily given 5 stars before this change.

It takes support five days to respond and then it doesn’t even answer your question just sends a support answer which I can look up myself. Had a question about a word that was denied and is in the dictionary and they send me a list of 3 letter words which is great but then It isn’t even a complete list. I love this game but this is ridiculous and don’t get me started on the game pairing. I keep getting stars and super stars I the pairing needs to be more fair. Not just whoever starts a game.

Today it has been crashing incessantly. Been playing for almost two years. Absolutely loved it. It seems with more and more people abandoning this game, Wordox has been substituting AI as players. Almost every play is an "exotic" word. You can always tell an AI player by the avatar they use, and the majority of "players" have hidden accounts and chat off. Racial, ethnic and gender slurs are permitted, and even when reported, still appear. Not acceptable. The day draws near when I will be forced to delete this app. Real shame.

Customer support has just informed me that they are testing an artificial intelligence program and that is why we are getting all these robot type players instead of real players. I don’t want to play robots. When I paid good money for this app I was playing real people and now you can hardly get a real player. This was my favorite game and now it’s been ruined! They need to let players block these artificial intelligence robot players. Don’t waste your money on this game unless you like playing computers. The bots will play any word whether it is in a dictionary or not. I have googled many of the words they play and they are NOT words. Just no fun anymore. The company keeps promising changes but I haven't seen any changes. Terrible game! I would like my money back since they changed this game after I bought it.

Now it’s just irritating. The app has frozen up daily for more than a week now. Only solution I’ve found that works is to delete the app from my phone, reboot my phone, go to the App Store, download it all over again, sign in AGAIN, and then play for awhile. It will inevitably freeze up again, making me jump through all the hoops if I want to play again. I plan to wrap up the handful of boards that I’m still playing — I play daily — and stop playing entirely the next time it freezes up. After two years of daily Wordox, enough is enough. Not once has a human being acknowledged any of my word suggestions, nor has a human ever responded to my trouble reports.

Have played for years now and that’s all I’ve been able to play lately. Game used to be fun until this started happening. The robots will always draw perfect letters vs. my garbage letters and if they don’t they’ll just play fake words. If this is to discourage my playing due to my lack of in app purchases, keep in mind the countless ads I’ve viewed. There’s one after every single word you play! Where it used to be an enjoyable pastime it is now an annoying source of frustration I can do without. So after over 4000 games played (so what do you think, 50,000 ads viewed?) I’m uninstalling.

DO NOT waste your coins, your time and your effort to play the Cup Challenges or any bets higher than 2000 coins, your chance of winning there is nearly zero. First of all they words or letter combinations that do not exist and than refer to a dictionary that does not exist. Their dictionary is misleading, fake and just a make up of random BS that does not make any sense. All they do is cheating you of your coins and pairing you with robots or at the last minute you have mysterious people popping up with insane amounts of winnings that weren’t even in the initial group of players that play the tournament. Nearly every opponent with an “S” rating and who's identity shows “This account is private” is a robot !!! They just use pictures from people that probably don’t even know their pictures are displayed in this game. Using someone else’s identity, I curious if that is even legal practice? If I could you would not even get one star.

This use to be my all time favorite game. Now it doesn’t load at all. I paid for this game. I’m beyond disappointed that I can no longer play. Update Dec 17: was able to get into the game once. Afraid to start a game because it still doesn’t load consistently. I sent a message via their contact system but can’t get back in to see if they replied. Jan 6: game still doesn’t load and I try 4 - 5 times a day. Still no response from them. It appears they have no desire to assist their patrons that have put a lot of money into this game.

This used to be a great game, and I guess that’s why I still haven’t completely given up on it. But now almost every opponent I get is a bot, and they play “words” that either don’t exist at all or that you’d need a superhuman vocabulary to be familiar with. (I also hate their cheesy, clip-art profile pics.) I used to be very good at this game but now I lose most of the time because these bots and their bogus lexicon are very hard to beat. Really awful job by the developers. I’m about done with Wordox.
