Really well made game. So many different tasks, challenges, and different ways you can play. I would recommend starting off in pitcher mode, start working on your batter in between. It takes time to build an elite player and it’s difficult, but you’ll get there. When pitching aim for the corners, mix your pitches, and throw balls between some of your strikes. For batting you need a well rounded player, but I think it’s best to put more into your power. Work on your timing and eventually you’ll start to learn how long certain pitches take to get to the plate. It’s okay to take some strikes if they’re not easy to hit in the sweet spot. Once you have your elite pitcher and/or batter you can use them to farm G-Points in order to recruit better players for your team. This is the name of the game. Farm G-Points, recruit, create an elite lineup so you can rake your self out of jams, recruit your pitchers to add in with your main guy, start buying some items for your guys, repeat. The better you get the more fun and satisfying the game gets. It’s hard to run out of things to do and even if you do the replay value seems like it would be fun too. I do wish you could start new batters or pitchers(individually) without erasing your old player, but it’s a great game. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Hey can you revitalize the baseball superstars 20XX series? This is what you should comment to gamevill's social medias. I recently went back to play the 2012 instillation into the series and had a lot of fun with it. The mechanics where if you don't train in certain area then you get a massive debug was a bit irritating, especially with the length of time it takes to remove it without getting other debuffs. I think in the current large waifu-based mobile market a new 2019 instillation would do great. I don't think the direction the 2013 instillation took the series was a good one, especially because it was the last one in the series for all I know. The extra currency besides the standard money is a great fit for profit. I know this comment is falling on deaf ears but I've tried other games similar to it, but nothing compares to the amazing blend of dating sim and sports game that was baseball superstars 2012. It's a great game and I'd think there is some profit in making a new one. I hope you at least consider it.

Occasionally there are one dollar apps that I really don't understand why they cost (like one that lets you put mustaches on pictures). This is an app that's free that feels like its worth much more. There's a lot in this little package, with hours and hours of gameplay possible, full of classic style baseball video game joy, and tons of anime and rpg inspired conversations and rid bits that add to this ridiculous joy filled world you thought you'd just be using to buy time waiting for the bus. Suddenly, after digging through a slight learning curve, it becomes incredibly addicting. Now the games not perfect, in fact there are some moments that I find quite annoying like balancing some of the needs of your avatar, and some obnoxious timing and mechanics, and frankly if this game cost me any money, I'd only give it for stars. But for a free game, this game well deserves all 5 lil' estrellas

I’ve been playing this game since it first came out and I have no complaints! I had no interest in baseball or sport games in the past but since I played this game I see sports completely different! It has accurate game play and plenty of options in the game. I have learned a lot about baseball and even was able to make predictions about where the ball will go and how the matches will play out! The only thing I have to look out for is my energy level and morality level, It’s hard to keep those up and sometimes hard to pick what training exercises to do when I have a limited amount of energy left.

So if you like RP and baseball try out this game because it is like that. Even though it is not MLB teams it has the MLB colors and also it kind of makes you feel like you made it to the Bigs. There is only one thing i dislike about this game it is kind of hard to hit like you hit home runs and stuff but you just need to get the timing done like in real life pulse some times you hit like trash like a ball that is barely hit but then again you get home runs and stuff. So ya I like this game and I think people should cheek it out and if anybody knows what happens at year 10 please tell me

I love this game, I prefer it over most baseball games on consoles. I recommend it to anyone who likes baseball. However this past weekend the app will no longer open. It crashes as soon as I try to open it. I've tried everything with the exception of deleting the app and reinstalling. I have many players that took quite some time to make and I will lose them all if I delete the app to reinstall. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue. I will attempt to email the developer but expectations are low due to how old this game is.

If you can get past the difficulty and the outs then the game is enjoyable as a whole. Getting a bad grade isn’t all bad. You retire at 10 years. If you spend money on any in app purchases please note it does not carry over after you complete 10 years or reset. Even if you get permanent perk it ends after 10 years. Overall it’s fun, I have played these games for years and while it’s no Baseball Superstars II it’s better then 2013. No ads. Fun gameplay. Don’t rage, or let the outs and fouls annoy you. It’s not easy but very satisfying once you get the hang of it.

If your like me and enjoy RPGs and Baseball then you will love this game as I do. It is confusing at first and I think they should have simplified it more. Literally to many items and way hard to figure out how to use them. So far I've gotten well in the game without having to spend money but I want to donate a couple bucks to show my appreciation for such a cool free game. I didn't rate it 5 stars because the batting is too hard and the timing is terrible so I turn the game speed down to 1 and use the shadow of the ball to time the hitting, if you try to judge the ball you swing early and miss every time it gets aggravating. That it the the rest of the game is fun as hell including a great story line. You will have to put both batting and pitching on classic because Smart mode is dumb and too difficult. If your like me, and you love baseball, you don’t care how bad the graphics are and all that. But the graphics here are actually decent. It’s a great game and I seriously recommend it. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because of three things. 1.) The Super Pitchers for the My Batter mode are super overpowered and almost impossible to hit off of. 2.) Sometimes, the players will run extremely fast to make an amazing diving play to get you out an steal a hit. 3.) After you are robbed, sometimes multiple times a game, your coach will give you a grade and it will almost always be a D if you go 1 for 4. There’s also small glitches that go against the rules of baseball, but they don’t effect the “game” and they’re minor. I seriously recommend this game. Be ready to celebrate but also be ready to rage.

It's the same awesome game that Baseball Superstars always is, but there are SO MANY problems. Runners are called safe on balls that land very far past the foul line, runs score when the third out has been made at first. The worst is when you're playing a game and close the app. The game starts over but your pitchers stamina is half way gone. This franchise has always had a lot of mistakes but it was kind of funny. But this is just really clumsy and careless. Despite the great graphics and story line, there are also a lot of issues with the game play. Sometimes your opponents will just get 8 or 9 hits in a row no matter where you throw the ball. Actually, come to think of it the people who make this game are complete idiots who would be fired immediately at most jobs for this kind of performance. BBS is addicting but there are so many unnecessary and stupid mistakes it really makes you mad.

I played countless hours of this app back when it first came out. Eventually the developers stopped updating its compatibility with new iOS and I could no longer open it. Much to my surprise, I saw it trending the other day on the App Store and re-downloaded it. So much nostalgia! The characters and RPG elements of this game are still the best out there, and while I’ve played several iOS baseball games since, none have the same depth of design. Unfortunately this game’s biggest shortcoming is the actual hitting mechanic. Your placement of the bat and timing of the swing don’t guarantee much besides basic contact, and while I don’t expect to crush every pitch every time it often feels like my input doesn’t have much effect on the outcome. You start your rookie year with +100 in all stats which gets you to hit/smash the ball pretty consistently, but after the first year it’s ground balls galore. Clearly the goal is for you to purchase upgrades with real-world money to fix your suddenly useless swing and it’s really a shame. Such a beautifully designed game with so much potential, but it’s all tied up behind a lazy paywall. You might think a game that came out 8 years ago would ease up on the cash squeeze, but it’s just the opposite.

I love this game but it is truly starting to show some age with glitches you can easily notice now but not when the game was released. But my biggest issue with glitches is that it would crash every time I tried to play my pitcher I deleted the save files for my pitcher gave the game a rest but nothing worked eventually I deleted the game and reinstalled, and had to lose my save data on my batter including the yomi, bora, and leoney endings just so I could finish the endings in my pitcher. If you can please fix these bugs so hopefully nobody else has to delete all their progress. Besides these bugs the endings and stories from the characters are amazing there are lots of items to buy and unlock and if you can even play my team to control everyone instead of just one like my batter and pitcher

Technically speaking, the game is fine. Graphics are excellent, the city gives players plenty to do, and the interaction with other characters is humorous and informative. Even the gameplay is pretty good; getting one's timing down can be tough, but it's not impossible. HOWEVER . . . The rewards are far too small, the costs of acquiring skills and equipment are way too high, and the manager of the team lends new meaning to the term "never satisfied." Examples? All right. If you go 3 for 4, you'll probably get a B...but you might get a D. My only A games--never mind S, or A+, or whatever it might be here--required multiple HR and a win. (Another thing: your pitching staff has a gift for turning 2-2 games into 11-2 deficits in one or two innings...but guess whose fault the loss is. Right.). Bottom line, I play games to have fun, and this game is no fun.

Let me break it down for you. Oh that's down the baseline for a double! Nope foul. Oh that's for sure a hit! Nope foul again. Oh well that ones foul and going out of play. Nope stays in and computer catches EVERYTHING! try to hit? Good luck without eagle eye. And that costs 500 coins. You start out with 100. The computer is better in every way. Your pitchers will give up 8 run leads in a half an inning, the computer is ALWAYS faster at beating you to a base, makes unbelievable diving catches to rob hits. Nothing but frustration comes from this game. So if hitting .150 and throwing your phone saying choice words is your idea of fun, then this game is definitely for you. If you value peace of mind and don't want to get mad every other minute, then this game is certainly not for you. I wasted 48 hours playing this to find out it will have you saying "yeah right that could NEVER happen!" pretty much every play. The computer has power ups they can use at anytime to get super pitchers. You get a level 1 "superbat" you can use 1 time per game that is really no better than the regular bat. I played 2 seasons and deleted it because my peace of mind is valuable to me and this game will cause you to likely break your phone. You've been warned.
