Antrim Escape 1 HD Wiki

This 3-part series is the best game I've played on the iPad for the fact that the concept is simple and the puzzles are genius and quite challenging for an adult if no hints are used. Antrim Escape 1, 2, and 3 kept me entertained for a few days, racking my brain yet not making me angry. No glitches and enjoyable art. I really look forward to more games of this exact kind from the maker.

This is an awesome game. The only problem is that I am swinging the pendulum correctly and hard enough but I hear no special noise and the bird does not have a gold key in it's mouth! Please fix this!!!

Many challenging puzzles...really loved this iPad version...needs some adjustment so that game can be played in either portrait position on iPad. Keep more coming!

A little debugging would go a long way; I'm constantly getting crashes at the end of the game. Still, I managed to get through both paths with some hints. A couple of the puzzles are what I'd consider totally unfair without some kind of hints, but most are pretty straightforward after putting on the ol' thinking cap. Worth a play for sure. Look forward to playing more of the story...

To number 21 reviewer concerning the compass, did you ever get the compass to work and give you the key? I know the message is News but cannot get it to work. if the arrow in the middle is supposed to move,it doesn't. Help, please anybody!!!!!

I found this game on my iPad I thought I had lost. Was excited to play this game but when the scroll puzzle wouldn't work I got frustrated. I love thinking games.

Perhaps I would have given this five stars but alas, my sound would not work no matter what I tried!

Lots of fun if you are not easily annoyed. Game has really, really nice graphics. But even with following online walkthroughs (which have a lot to be desired), figuring some parts out does not require intelligence; it requires sheer luck. To have to tap repeatedly on a particular place or item, makes no sense to me. I took away stars for this reason. Oh, and the crashing is awful. Any time I advance after something difficult --like shaking my poor iPad to death to get an item--, I immediately click to Save and Exit so I don't have to torture myself a second time. Lol!!! True. True.

Nice graphics and storyline. Hard enough to be challenging, although some things were a bit too difficult/convoluted to figure out without hints. The monochromatic colors sometimes made it hard to see an item that you were supposed to click on. I played this game on my iPad (v 7.1.x) and experienced no crashes; however, I got to the scroll puzzle and had no way to input the numbers -- the scrolls would not move. Thus, I was unable to finish the game.

I understand I'm supposed to go NEWS, but when I move the red line in each of those directions, pressing the center button each time, nothing happens. I even thought that possibly I am supposed to tilt my iPad to move the arrow around, but the arrow seems to be stuck in one position, so I don't think that's the right way to solve it...I'm stuck, and the hint doesn't help me... :-/

For some reason when I finally got to the password puzzle, the numbers do not show. I have tried uninstalling and installing, but it did not fix the problem. I don't know if it's just with my iPad but it is really a annoying not being able to advance :(

The title says it all. The puzzles aren't intuitive. Picking up items can sometimes be just a matter of luck. And using the items can REALLY be frustrating. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. This is also where I get the most crashes--trying to use an item. Bottom line is forget this game and instead try Forever Lost Episode 1.

If you tap on something a few times and nothing happens, you figure it's the wrong move. Then, out of frustration, you go to the hint that tells you to do what you already tried three times. You go back and tap 30 - 40 times until something happens. Not fun.

I don't understand why the App Store continues to sell unplayable games. There should be a way to get your money back if the game crashes so badly that you can't play it... Like this one. It kept crashing and not saving. Then I got to the scroll puzzle and there were no numbers on it, making the game unplayable. A total rip off. I wish I could get my money back! Developer... Fix your game!
