I love this game and play it regularly. I have not gotten tired of it and it remains challenging as you can tweak past performances. Yes it is an old game, but, compared to many new ones, this is a standout!! I love how you have to use your brain and that there are no in app purchases. When discussing games I always encourage people to check it out. I just wish they would either make a Jelly Defense II or upgrade with more levels. I wholeheartedly recommend this game. Trust me.....

Insanely addicting. I love this game so much, I've finished every level multiple times. It can be challenging, but that's because its complex. Once you come to understand every aspect of the game, you can really do well. And it is so much more absorbing and intricate than most games. Make sure you put your towers in spots where they are most effective---you can tell if it's a good spot by how quickly it is leveling up. PLAY THIS GAME, IT IS WORTH IT! PLEASE make a Jelly Defense 2!!!!

I love this game - the artistic elements, the challenge, the whole thing. Tip! When you beat the game, meaning getting a perfect score on every section (and you can) and reaching 100% completion on the globe, there is a little secret you can find where you can play the whole globe again on a new level (at a little harder difficulty). This game is my daily “brain break” and I’m now at 1000% level...!

This is a really hard tower defense game! It doesn’t baby you at all. If you are new to TD games, you might want to start with one that ramps up the difficulty slowly, like the Kingdom Rush games. But if you want to jump right in and really work for your win, this is great. It’s also good looking, a nice bonus. Highly recommended TD game for aficionados!

Amusing characters, different powers to defeat them, accompanied by great music and hysterical sounds make for ultimate fun. Great strategy game with a sense of humor. Quality game excellent for all ages, best on ipad but playable on smaller screens ok too (when addicted as we are a need a fix!) hope they build more planets if i am ever able to solve all the levels on this one!

This is definitely a 5 star tower defense game, the graphics are good, the soundtrack is fun, the jellies funnier and is good for all ages (assuming you can work a tablet or phone). WARNING!! If you are the kind of person who likes to just burn through a game and on to the next one, this is not for you, it takes time and patience to beat this game.

My son got this years ago, and the catchy little tunes and beautiful, quirky graphics caught my attention. I got it myself, and years later, it is still my favorite tower defense game. I love the fact that I'm not spammed by in-app purchases. Jelly Defense, Plants vs Zombies, Catan, and Carcassonne seem to be the only games that survive my frequent game purges.

This is absolutely one of the best tower defense games ever made. The graphics are crisp and well animated, the levels have good variety and many in number. I'm always surprised I don't see this game staying on top selling charts like angry birds or plants vs. zombies because it is just as much their equals in quality and fun

Frustrating at times because it can be challenging, but that is also why it is so great. Ive played a lot of tower defense games and this is my favorite. I wouldnt play it on my phone- big screen is better. More levels please!

Love this game. I cant update the game (old device) but still loads of fun. Still enjoy the game. Ive owned this game for almost a year (i think)👍😂 its an adorable, funny, strategy game. Still trying to finish the game(😁😂) five stars. Love it. Totally worth it. 😄keep up the awesome work👍

Ok, so nothing groundbreaking, but this is a very solid and fun tower defense game. I'm glad to see it still works on iOS 9 on my new iPhone 6s. I wish they would come out with a sequel, or at least an update to add some new levels.

Former review: I love this game so much it's not even sensible. The graphics, music, and gameplay are all top-notch. I hope for more boards to play! January 2018: the most recent update made some changes that don't make sense. The final levels now much harder than it used to be, but not more fun or anything. Please update again and fix that and add a level or two!!

This game has frustrated me to the point where I'm writing my first review ever. I love tower defense games. It's pretty much the only thing I get from the app store these days. In playing Jelly Defense, I have to agree with some of the other reviewers: Cool game, but inexplicably difficult to beat. That would normally be a good thing, but I'm not talking about mastering some skill, based on strategy. I'm saying this game does things that don't make sense, like attack waves progressing inappropriately. The levels are very unbalanced. One level is super easy; the next is dumbfounding. The only way to master this game is just to memorize the levels. To me, this is like the difference between someone memorizing school test answers, vs someone understanding strategy. In most levels, you might be able to anticipate the incoming jellies and place towers appropriately. But sometimes, within that same level, there will suddenly be an attack wave that completely breaks through. The only way to beat this is to memorize the attack waves. Also, the in-game advice sometimes doesn't display. I'll get the pop-up window, but it's completely blank. I'm on the latest iOS and an iPhone 6. I hate being critical. Seriously, I would love to make games like this for a living. So I feel like a jerk for talking smack. However, this game deserves a little beat-down for not being balanced. And a few bugs.

I am not sure why this is rated so well. It is too hard, not challenging mind you, hard, for no good reason. And it is not like you can go through the game and unlock upgraded towers to make it easier when you go back and play the levels again. And it is simply not fun, there is not much too it. A tiny amount of towers, only a few powers, no strategy, the tower upgrades are lame and uninteresting, the baddies are all the same basic enemy and they all look almost identical. This makes me wish Apple had a good refund policy. It might be fun in the future, but right now it is just blah.
