I’d give it a go! I’ve only had the game for a couple of days but I’ll lay out the information I have. Nothing seems pay to win, but I’m still in early game. There are plenty of rewards to get and it actually seems random instead of a rigged only common drop system. The game seems like it’s actually online, rather than other games that pretend to have matchmaking and such. The player movement is real, the usernames are, and matchmaking actually takes time since the game is still starting out, so I’m assuming I’m not getting baited into thinking it’s online. The ranking system is something like clash royale, clash of clans, king of thieves, or anything else with a trophy system. It’s very fair in the amount you gain or lose, but it might take awhile to grind to the top. The game looks great, and played great too. Everything has worked so far, and I’ve encountered no bugs. The art is surprisingly good too. Also, the music is well made. This game feels more strategy and skill based rather than op items based. I hope I don’t eat my words, but it’s felt very fair so far.

The concept of the game is amazing, and I love the mythology and lore behind it. I also like the creators because they always try to fix mistakes and make things right. The reason I am writing a review is on the topic of rewards, that rewards are fair and give you a good “level up” experience. Issue that I have: But I have been running across a issue with receiving world stone, I have played 3 Helios battles in a row and haven’t received anything, I am missing about 130 world stones.

I love this game I got hooked graphics are great sounds are good but after I played the game for about a hour I turned of my phone and when I turned it back on to play the game it was frozen at the start up screen saying loading data and was stuck like that for around 5 minutes and then I just I closed out the app and turned it back on and it still was stuck so when they fix the bug I will give a 5 star rating

The game is awesome and it is a nice way for me to kill time and was working well and the whale was loading but now after waiting for over a minute for the game to load I think something is wrong, maybe it is the update or something else, I don’t think it is my phone because every other app and game is working like normal except for this one, so basically, the game doesn’t load for me anymore and idk why, this is the first time it has happened to me when a game is working great and one day it stops working, I did not change my phone or anything like that so ye, that is why I’m leaving my review at 4 stars

This is an amazing game I must admit I’ve never been hooked as well as this one. Only one issue I have is the crosses that drop and explode when the match has gone on for awhile feels really unsatisfying and frankly I’ve definitely raged the the RNG of getting murdered by them when you have double your opponents go and getting unlucky. Honestly I just don’t like those dang crosses because even when i win because they hit the enemies it feels unrewarding because it’s RNG where they land and you can either get lucky or get screwed over

Great game, great concept but the 1v1 takes forever to find a game, and pursue is terrible after a certain runs you cant beat them because they are too strong, the energy takes an hour to reload instead it should be only 10 minutes, the pursue should be reset every day, if you want people to play your game more regularly, you would consider these options. Again great game but at some-point the wait is to long and no other side things to do

Really enjoying it so far, I really like the concept although I’m not sure I’m playing against real players in the matches. They’re either ridiculously easy or have top level gear. Still pretty fun though. Although, if the developers read this, I’ve found a pretty unfortunate bug that is going to lose you a lot of in game transactions, the customer support button in the app isn’t working so I don’t know how else to reach out.

I think what would make this game better is having some type of endless arcade mode to grind out multiple ai players that could get you some worthwhile rewards and make you stand a chance against those pay to win players. Please consider making a type of arcade mode for this game I would love to see it happen

While the gameplay is super fun and rewarding, making it seem easy to level up, acquire new skills, and play different strategies, it is possible for the game to become super stale. Within 2 days I nearly made it to top 100 (top placement at 102nd), but shortly after that my matchmaking began to place me with opponents far out of my realm. Soon after reaching that rank, I began to face opponent after opponent with much higher health than me, way more powerful skills, and it simply got to the point where I had no chance. While this happened during the climb, after the climb I had taken a break and came back to about a 60 game lose streak with only few wins in between. All in all, the gameplay is fantastic and borderline addicting, but the matchmaking seems almost always unfair after reaching such a high rank without access to the same abilities and health/shield as others.

Definitely love this game . Starting out I thought it was going to be boring , but as you progress, there’s lots of different skills and weapons to use. Makes the game very flexible with different attack patterns and builds. The devs are also constantly patching the game (buffing weapons/nerfing skills) which prevent whales from dominating this game . Currently , the earthquake (knock up) ability seems to be impossible to dodge , but I have faith the devs will fix this . Overall, amazing game, unique abilities and combos, and extremely high replay ability! Give the game a bit of time , and it won’t disappoint :) Edit review: I’m not exactly sure how the holy war works , but with the way it seems to be set up, it feels like one side is always going to win . Typically the winning side will get more bonuses (I'm aware of the gold multiplier if losing side eventually wins), so if the winning side gets more bonuses, how does the losing side ever win future holy wars? It seems to me that eventually , one side will be dominated completely since the rewards are almost doubled if you’re on the winning side . Soon as this is fixed, will definitely re-rate. Instead of demons vs. angels, it might be better to randomly assign people to different sides (still demon or angel if you picked that) so that the game is more balanced in holy war.

The game itself is fun, with a few minor bugs. When loading the game, the update message will appear with no update, so it usually requires a restart. Sometimes when opening the matchmaking menu it will be blank, and you usually need to do a pursue or restart app to fix it. What has made me the most upset is the failed purchases. I have had four purchases where I was given no rewards and returned to store screen while still being charged. To make things worse, the in game customer support button does not work, and I couldn’t find a way to contact support about the failed purchases so I could at least get my money back. For this reason, I gave the app 1 star, as opposed to 4 had this not happened. After playing random dice for a long period and never having any issues with purchasing, this was really deterring.

The healing is for 50 or 70 but the damage I take is 200 or so that is marking these abilities worthless and some of the combination of abilities are inescapable and the basic arrows are easily avoided there’s nothing in the game so that I can fuse the abilities I don’t want or the bows that I don’t want to make better ones and i’m making no progress because it gives duplicates of the same item that I don’t use what’s the point of having any gold items when you can’t upgrade them it’s so unfair how some abilities and bows end the game before it starts it’s absolutely unbalanced, also why can’t I switch to good or evil only once make it cost something so people can switch

I’ve played AOG of 6 weeks now and have reached the game’s higher Archangel ranks for most of my time playing. As the game progresses play to win players slowly climb the ranks because they surpass the natural progression. This coupled with the fact the dev team ignores and destroys metas that would be less profitable is why the game is horrible. To reiterate, the dev team nerfs metas that make them less money. They have nerfed non-legendary bows and legendary skills for the sake of making other legendary skills more appealing when they are already overpowered. Contacting the dev team is close to pointless because they prioritize pay to win over pay to progress and they refuse to produce a balanced game.

Just downloaded the update about four weeks ago and got all of my saved data and purchased data deleted. Yes… $115 dollars down the drain; can’t even get it restored. Doesn’t account for all the time in either. The devs take longer than the 1-5 day response time they promise. I have sent countless of messages and proof of purchase with my account still being missing and nothing to compensate for It. Stay away from this app overall. Great game overall. Loved it for a while but this just does it for me. Their slogan on their site says “yes, we steal your time” they should add “and money too” on there. What a terrible situation.
