This game has nice elements to it such as unique and interesting characters, good stories, and an amazing art style. However there are several issues. For one I wish it was easier to get gems because it takes way to long to get enough gems to do something like revealing a picture. I appreciate that the developers of this game gave you a daily prize(which you only have to wait five and half hours for) for the prize of five gems and an ad every two and a half hours for the prize of three gems. Other than that the only way you can get gems besides buying them is to get closer with your characters which only gives you two gems. Instead I think it should be six gems. I’m happy about the daily prize and the ads but I still wish it would be easier to obtain gems. Another issue is that there are some grammatical errors which I don’t really mind considering that English is a harder language to learn. The last issue I have is that once you reach a certain level with a character, something bad happens and it says they will be offline for a while. I’ve been waiting for about 3 days for some of the characters and it still says they are offline. If the developers of this game are reading this I hope you can continue the characters stories soon because I don’t want the characters to never respond again. Over all this game is pretty good but with a few issues.

I would have to say I fell in love with this game and the characters the graphics are nice and so are the story lines I literally get on the app every day like I’m actually checking my text but I finished some of the storylines and I’m waiting on them to be continued and I can’t wait for them to continue I really think you should continue all the story lines and don’t let them end I’m pretty sure everyone has a favorite character that they like and I like the update of new characters but when I swipe right on some of the ones I like I don’t get matched with them sadly I don’t know if they have a storyline and just aren’t matching or they don’t have one and that is the reason they aren’t matching but I can’t wait to see how far this app gets I love to see the improvement I really think you guys should add some more mystical characters ones you wouldn’t see in real life or create your own characters I would like to see it oh and another thing the diamonds I wish there was another way to get more because Ik some people don’t wanna spend money on the game but I get disappointed when I spend most of them and then it takes forever to get them back when I really want to complete an action I don’t really have enough to do that other than that can’t wait for you to finish the story lines and see your improvements love the game!!

Very happy with this game — the art style is really beautiful, the storylines are (while a little cliché at times) really fun, and the characters are fun to interact with! Some people complained about bugs but I think the developers did a really good job of fixing most of them. The only issue I’ve had is that for some reason one of the characters I’m talking to keeps reverting back to the same dialogue as before every time I get off and back on and I can’t progress with them. I think this game is definitely worth a play, and it’s very fun! I like that it’s not too difficult to obtain gems, and it’s really not necessary to purchase them unless you really want to choose a lot of premium stuff. One thing I am a little disappointed about is that once you get to a certain point with a character, the game tells you that they’ve logged off and won’t be online for a while. I’ve been playing for about a week now and they’ve been “logged off” for a couple days now. I just wish I knew when I’ll be able to talk to them again, if I’m going to be able to talk to them again. Overall, though, I do recommend playing it! I’ve gotten plenty of enjoyment out of it!

The app is amazing and the art for the characters are one of the best I’ve seen in awhile! While I wouldn’t mind if there was a way to get a bit more extra gems from watching ads it’s not that big of a problem for me since I’m usually a very patient person and don’t mind saving up for awhile just to buy something. My only huge issue is when you have to repurchase already bought choices with gems on a date when you leave it without completing the date first. It gets kind of annoying to be completely honest, especially when you buy one dialogue choice then leave the date to get more gems just to buy the other dialogue choice only to find out that you have to repurchase the first one, and considering the time it takes just to get more gems it gets pretty frustrating at times. I still love the app and can’t wait to see what new things you guys decide to do with it, I just hope that certain small issues like this one can be fixed soon. Again this is just my opinion and you guys don’t have to fix anything if you don’t want to since it’s your app, but I just think it’ll be way more convenient for everyone including me if you did so.

Antonio benson. That’s all I have to say. The developers did soooooo good on him from his development from level 1 to 8 is so good I grew a connection with him the only thing is is I wish he had voice messages like some of the other character also I need more pictures of him. Let me explain when I first got this app I had about five matches (including Antonio) but talking to Antonio made me unmatched with all of others just to talk to Antonio he’s the only one I wanted to give my attention to and now I’ve reached the end of our storyline and I’m sad I need more I crave more I will be checking regularly for the next update hopefully it’s will further the storyline. And now for my only complaint, Gems. They are kinda hard to get and you need so many to unlock a picture and while yes the daily and video gems do help you have to wait a while for them and also when you reach a new level with your crush you only get two gems if you could increase the amount gems just a little that would be nice. But all in all this is a very fun game and I can’t wait to play more

Thsi is the first dating simulator that I have ACTUALLY and GENUINELY liked, the graphics are beautiful and very detailed and I like how it’s not an open-chat kind of deal. I like having the fixed responses and being able to choose between one response or another. My only complaints are: I can’t match with any more than two people. I’ve already finished what’s happened so far with Corey’s story and I’m almost completely finished with Brandon’s. It would be nice if I could match with more guys to keep my gameplay going. Also, I don’t see the reason behind the high gem prices on pictures and audios, they don’t change your relationships with people, they’re just extras. But if lowering the prices on the pictures and audios means you’d have to bump the gem prices up on your chat choices, then ignore this part of my comment. Overall, I was very pleased with the game and I’m oh so excited to learn of Corey’s and the reader’s fate of their relationship after the whole ordeal with Natalie.

omg this game is so freaking fun and i love how every match has awesome individual personalities. i really only downloaded it as a joke but now i’m ADDICTED!!! one thing that i do have a question on, is why i still get females on my swipe when i put that in interested ones males only? i always swipe left on females and i feel like i would be able to get more matches if i had males only. in regards to the actual game, it’s totally fun! i highly recommend it to anyone!! one thing tho, is that after a certain turning point with a character, they leave and their storyline goes to be developed. honestly, i’ve been waiting for a while for all of the og characters to come back. like sora, he’s my absolute FAVORITE!!!! like i’m having fun with new characters, but i want to see the older characters’ stories all the way through. overall, i love this game and cant wait for the future. i hope that the og’s come back soon, but time will tell.

CW: Mention of sexual content and mild spoilers for Noel’s storyline I see a lot of people saying this is a knock off version of Love Link, but I disagree. They’re two different games with a similar concept. MeChat also doesn’t have the problem where characters get impatient and unmatch with you if you don’t respond for awhile, or at least not that I’ve noticed. There are a few issues. There are some grammatical errors that have sort of pulled me out of the immersion, but it’s easy to overlook. Also, I did notice that Jason referred to me as “her” in Noel’s storyline, which I did NOT appreciate. I was never asked to input pronouns, so I did not appreciate that he just sauntered up out of nowhere and decided for me I also have to point out the awkward dialogue for sex scenes. I don’t mean to be rude but no one just says “argh” during sex. I paid gems for bonus content and had to skip past it all because I was almost considering celibacy in that moment. Like, that was somehow worse than being misgendered by Jason and I almost didn’t recognize the discomfort of that because I was too busy dealing with secondhand embarrassment. Other than that, the game’s fine. I just wish if my character was going to have pronouns I could choose them myself. Or I’d at least like for pirates to no longer possess the body of my character while it is having sex.

I enjoy the concept of this game, I find myself returning to it on a daily basis just to swipe through my matches, but some aspects of it could use a lot of work. First, paying for audio messages definitely isn’t worth it. I paid for one and it was very low quality, it seemed as though the devs just pulled random people off Fiver and didn’t devote any time to professional voice acting. This wouldn’t be a problem if the voice messages weren’t a paid part of the game. Some of the dialogue is robotic and feels as if it is poorly translated from another language into English. There are some creative characters in the game, like one who is a mermaid for example…but a lot of character archetypes seem to repeat themselves. I currently have three matches who are musicians with very similar dialogue related to the fact that they’re musicians, and a ton of my matches are famous for one reason or another with similar dialogue related to how famous they are. I understand that these are attractive character traits, but it feels lazy. I feel like the game would benefit from more characters with negative traits to make it feel more realistic. I’m definitely getting bored of how repeatitive my matches have been. This game has potential, but in its current state I don’t see myself spending any money on it.

The premise is really interesting and I’ve enjoyed the characters so far. But my problem is the gems. I’ve had this game for a day and I’ve spent over $50 which I have no issue paying for gems but I feel like the cost for answers/images in gems is too steep for the rewards you get. I don’t think it’s realistic/fair for someone who is f2p to only get 30 free gems every few hours or 30 gems from leveling affection when images alone cost 600 or choosing a favored answer is 250. I believe the amount of free gem rewards for players should be upped a bit to be more realistic with what the game is asking it might help boost engagement as well if it were slightly more accessible. Obviously not upped highly but enough to where saving for an image you want as a free player would be more realistic and not something to take 2 weeks for 1 image. Maybe more ways to earn gems or a higher daily log in reward incentive would be better like 50 gems one day 75, then 100 progressively as you log in or something + the free 30 gems every few hours.

The app started off alright, some grammatical errors (not surprising, English is a hard language to master) but as time went on, app wouldn’t refresh, you’d get notifications that a match was online but can’t access the chat because once you open the app, it shows the match(es) as offline. The next issue is the “dates” appearing as texts in the chat after you’ve had them and this usually happens when receiving notifications that they’re back online. Lastly, after closing the app and opening it back up again, it crashes when you swipe on whoever is on the screen. Edit: the company has acknowledged my review and released an update but it didn’t fix a thing. The app crashes once you do anything from swiping on the same person that’s been there for about a week, to trying to collect the daily gems. You can’t do anything with the app which is very frustrating, but I appreciate taking consumers issues into account. However, none of my emails seem to be getting read or responded too.

I really enjoyed this game when I first started playing. It’s interesting and just fun to play. However, I just feel the conversations and pictures require too many gems. The prices to buy gems wouldn’t be so bad if items in the game didn’t did take so many of them. Lower the gem requirements in the story to satisfy your customers. You would still make as much if not more money because you would draw more players and keep the ones that you already have. Another issue, every character that I have chosen (7) is now off line. I thought at first that the story lines were just incomplete, but it’s every character. I have been waiting for well over three weeks for my first characters to come back. The longer the wait time, the more frustrated I get because I am forgetting the story. There’s should be stories that are completed. I would guess that you are losing customers due to this as well. Get the stories completed to keep your customers and attract new people. It would also be nice that when you swipe a character and you’re not “chosen” that eventually, if you keep trying, they accept you. I know that’s not how it is in the real world, but hey this is a game, right? If I’m paying, I should be getting what I want. Again, I like the game, but I’m not sure how long I can afford to keep playing, and having to wait to finish a story line, is frustrating.

When I first got this app, I was kind of bored. Like the conversations were soo dry and I wish I had more options and more say in the conversations. They were always cheesy and boring and the only time it’s fun is the dates, which is the main reason I play is for the dates because those aren’t as dry and boring. Now to the actual point, the game suddenly just started crashing. Like I would be able to get like two messages in with someone and then it’ll immediately crash and it wouldn’t even registered that I sent those messages. Even when I swipe, it crashes. Idk if this is for everyones after playing for a little while, since it worked perfectly at the start for me. There are also quite a few spelling and grammar errors but they are not a problem at all and I am unbothered by them. Lastly, it’s soo annoying when the people have to go offline for like 30minutes to an hour, It just makes me forget about them and it kinda just gets tiring having to come back every 30 minutes or 1 hour just after one conversation.

I removed my previous 3 star, mostly positive review because this game is trash and anything good that I had to say about it at one time does not reflect how I feel about it now. It's FULL of bugs that should not exist when you are charging people for a game; yes, you don't HAVE to buy gems but in offering a paid option, you should have a game that people feel comfortable putting money into. Not sure what that money is being used for because it clearly isn't going into improving anything. On one phone, I have a game going that I got really into and had tons of matches but for over a week, whenever I open the app, it stays on the title screen for a few seconds before crashing. I contacted support and they did nothing besides tell me to try to launch it with the internet turned off on my phone (didn't work), which is not helpful because not everyone has a data plan/unlimited data and the game should work no matter how you're attempting to run it. After the update that was supposed to have "many improvements and bug fixes," the app still continuously crashes. On a second phone, I have another game going that I use to farm gems to unlock pictures (because they are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced) and after updating the game on that phone, surprisingly it runs but before the update I had 1,512 gems and after the update, I somehow only have 67 gems now when I hadn't even opened the game before updating it. This game is an absolute joke and I'm done with it.
