This game is super fun and creative in so many ways. To start it off, the quests often bridge off each other, explaining lore more in depth than many other games with quests. This gives the game an RPG aspect. There’s also the main focus of the game: the social aspect. There are many ways to customize your creature and sanctuary using items that are crafted by materials gathered in the expanse. These allow you to really glow up and show your inner fashionista. You can also trade for these items, using other items and things called lockpicks, which are used to open chests. Chests can be found in the expanse and reward you various items. This can range from “likes” the main, but currently untradeable currency, to sanctuary and character items. The community is super sweet and helpful, and for this being an early access game it’s really impressive. Last but certainly not least, there are various mini games. These reward you with items, crafting ingredients, likes, etc. The first minigame, Dizzywing Dispatch, is like candy crush. Then there’s What The Hex, a puzzle game to match similarly colored hexagons to each other without running out of space for the other hexagons to go. Do or Dye, similar to Mastermind, a game that uses process of elimination. Lastly, there’s Twiggle Builders, a logic puzzle game where you must create a route to deliver resources to Twiglas Workshop. - Moone, an early access player.

I played animal jam when I was a kid and this game feels so nostalgic for me. I will say, there are a few bugs and glitches but the game is still fairly new and that is to be expected. Nothing serious though. The animals and avatars are so unique and you can almost 100% customize everything. You can change the colors of items to exactly what you want to perfectly match your look and you can add decals to your avatar to create patterns and unique markings. I think it’s fairly safe to say that, once you’ve customized your animal, you won’t find anyone who looks exactly like you. There’s also so many cool features like the idea of enigmas (which give you special items) and sketches (which help you make the enigmas and are also super fun to search for). I also really like the quests, which I know was sorta interpreted on AJ PC but this is so much better!! It’s also really exciting because i have a feeling that the storyline (having to do with the Queens being asleep) is going to progress really well. I suppose we’ll have to see!

I don’t write a lot of reviews often but.., I keep seeing a bunch of reviews saying that this game is kind of a letdown, which i can assure you, it’s not! it’s still an early access, so things aren’t going to be the highest quality just yet, but there are still a lot of really cool, fun and amazing things you can do! There are a few bugs here and there, but the game is still playable and rather fun! i'm 19 and for as long as i can remember, i’ve been playing animal jam. Now that I am older I don’t get as much entertainment from animal jam as I did when I was younger, and this game seems to intrigue me a lot! I really hope that the Devs continue to work on and update this game regularly, because this game has so much potential and could become such a good, fun, well-known game across the Internet! there’s lots of fun mini games, character customization‘s, things to explore and so on.. i just know that when it’s done and ready it’ll be amazing!!

I was a heavy animal jam player when I was younger and I kind of out grew it, I play feral a good bit more and enjoy it! I’m glad I can have a game to do quests as well as meet new people without extreme chat filters, to anyone over the age of 13 I would recommend. I say this cuz the chat filters are super super lenient. People will swear and be giving out emails and things. Also, some of the quests are a little more mature. Also no offense but little kids would just ruin the player base, it sounds bad saying so, but lemme explain. The player base is really chill, I haven’t seen any arguments, and the game is more than just trading items and stuff. It’s fun. Little kids make games toxic by only playing for one reason, trading, then theirs scamming, and more toxic people. So for the love of my sanity, wait until your old enough. I do really love this game though, it’s absolutely amazing!

This game is amazing! I love exploring all the different worlds and collecting ingredients to craft cool outfits and furniture for my sanctuary! The character customization is incredible, you can be as creative as you want. Your character can be big or small or really short or even really tall. You can change the color and add decals to really make your creation stand out. I love the lore and mystery in the game. For example, what happened to the queens and why have they been locked away in their castle for so long and when will they come out? Also is the Blood Tundra tree cursed? Who cursed it and why? There are also super fun mini games in Feral, I’ve spent a lot of time play What The Hex trying to beat my high score. You can collect items just from playing mini games, it makes the games even more fun!! I highly recommend this game to everyone! Come play Feral and have fun!!!

Anyways this game is awesome right when I saw the ad I got it if that’s a complement I don’t know but since it’s in early release still I have some bugs if you didn’t already know these first this one doesn’t really matter but I don’t know if it’s just the werewolf but it’s feel kinda go through the ground? Again it really doesn’t matter also I keep seeing like items you can collect but when I get closer they disappear and reappear when I get further and I also have a question kinda so like since this is in early release are the limited animals and items ever coming back? Because I just learned about this game like a day ago and there was already dragons on it and stuff I would definitely buy those are they coming back?? (Also the limited items are those coming back?)

Hence the title, the game itself is very good and fun. However, its ridiculously buggy and laggy. My game lags for around 3 minutes every 5-10 minutes, either stopping completely or showing 1 FPS, making it semi-unplayable. Other glitches ive experienced include my character freezing (where i cant move), quest items not appearing, showing me random camera angles of my character (also where i cant move), shop items not showing up, my clothing not showing up and kicking me out of the game completely, which is INCREDIBLY annoying when im in the middle of a quest. I do understand its early access (currently) which does sometimes make games a little lower than the highest quality, but COME ON. These many glitches so frequently (ive only been playing for a week, mind you) is ridiculous. So, long story short, good game, fix the amount of bugs. Sincerely yours, xFUJIx

I waited months for this game to come out. I will never get my 2 months back. All to find out I need 2 more years. You should make it to where kids have to be 8 or 9 years of age. I wanted to play so badly and I really want you to make it so I can play and don’t change your game just the age requirement. I spent a lot of money on animal jam and so help me I could do the same for this game. I can’t wait 2 years if I nearly went crazy waiting a few months. And if I didn’t like the game 2 years and 2-3 months of my life would have gone right down the trash. Can’t wait to tell my therapist when I’m 30. I may keep bugging you if you don’t so it is a sarcastic win-win (by win-win I mean lose-lose) even if you don’t do it. If you do then good for you. I have probably said enough to get my point through. Many people can say some things, I didn’t even get a minute because your judging my age.

Ok so it’s not by any means great but it’s not bad either, you have a LOT of customization to choose from and lots of places to discover, however the first problem is the “season passes” there are only two free animals on this game by the way, the rest are locked behind the “premium pass” and the thing is when you buy the pass you have to do all these quest that can take WEEKS to complete just to get the animals you paid for, you can only have two character creation slots the rest are locked behind the pass too. Lastly I feel like there’s not much to do, like sure you can collect ingredients to make cool cloths for your creature and den items and play some mini games, but that’s about it, I mean it’s just kinda boring at times, I’m aware this is early access and there will be changes but the trade system isn’t all that great either, basically it’s a 6.5/10

Okay so basically this game is amazing. There was so much heart put into it,the dialogue just has that hilarious twinge of sarcasm and cynicism and it doesn’t stray away from things like showing (stylized) blood. However,as much as I love this game there are a lot (and I mean a lot) of bugs. Not being able to play games,servers being down,not being able to collect items,UI not showing up,and generally things that keep the game from being playable. TL:DR-This game is awesome. The customization and amount of creativity you can put into everything is incredible and I can tell that the devs put their heart and soul into it-genuinely feeling like the spiritual successor to animal jam,made for the kids that played animal jam who are now teens. however there are some very major bugs that hinder the experience. I do have faith that the will be patched out,and I will definitely continue to play this game.

I lover Feral and am so great full that I get to play the early version!! I have one huge problem with the game though, the crashing. My game crashes almost anytime I do an action that requires a different screen (for example, just this morning I was playing and I went to go pick the lock on a purple chest, and my game crashed.) The crashing is my only problem with Feral. The community is nice (that won’t last long, I talk from experience.) the controls are great, I love being able to customize my characters!!! The mini games are great, and the world has fun and interesting NPCs. Quests are great, but is there someway that the game could explain the red crystals blocking certain areas? I heard it’s on a cycle but it’s still confusing. Anyway, amazing job on your amazing quality game, I hope that the crashing will stop. Thank you!!

This game is so creative and gives the player so much choice in what they want to do! The graphics are impressive and the art style is very cute. It’s not a “free to start” game and you aren’t forced to pay to do basic tasks, which is great! So far I have fortunately not experienced any game-breaking glitches. My only issue with the app is, and this may just be me, it completely destroys the phone. Personally I can play for 15 minutes before it freezes and my phone force resets. I assume it has something to do with overheating, which is understandable with the 3D graphics, open world, games within the game etc. It’s not a big issue if I remember to take a break every once in a while but I can see how it could become irritating for some. Overall very nice game which I will be recommending to my friends :)

I really like the animations and customization options! I have some reservations, however: -the game often lags, making it so actions like collecting ingredients, interacting with NPCs, and finishing mini game levels doesn’t register. I often have to wait around a full minute before doing something. -while certain things requiring star fragments (and thus money) makes sense since the app is free, making it so people have to pay for the premium pass to unlock everything from the season feels just a little unfair. People who pay the premium pass still have to earn the appropriate aura points, and people without money only get a fraction of what they’re working for. Would it not make more sense if people with the premium pass could freely choose what to unlock without having to rack up aura points, and people without premium would simply have to work for what they want? -I can’t seem to find the controls on how to emote when on mobile. This could simply be my fault, but it could be made a bit more obvious. As it stands, the game is still fun, but I feel that it could be made MORE fun with certain changes implemented.

I have been a long time player of animal jam and I was really looking forward to playing Feral. So once I found out that I could download it on my iPhone I was super excited. I immediately downloaded it and started to play and that’s when the first problem happened. The game took 12 minutes to load and crashed three times during those minutes. Once the game finally loaded and I got to customize my character it crashed yet again. I restart the game was able to get through the customization phase and the tutorial and then once I got to the lobby it crashed yet again. So I restarted the game went through everything again got to the lobby and it worked this time, except for I was extremely lost. There’s barely any direction of what you’re supposed to do once you’re in the main game. I ran around and talk to NPC’s and they didn’t give me any quests. I think there needs to be more explanation of what to do in the game besides run around and talk to NPC‘s.
