Tetris Clash a great addition to the Skillz library. I’ve been playing a variety of Skillz games for almost 3 years and it is real, you can make money, but in general it is the competition aspect that makes it fun. The game: controls are solid, even with touch controls. Personally I like Tetris with a controller so I will hold off on cash games until I have one. Gameplay, not much to complain about, just solid Tetris gameplay. You play either with limited amount of blocks or a time attack mode of most points in specified time. Skillz aspect: yes, you can win money but temper your expectations. The matching like other games is really good as you usually play people similar skill level. Sometimes as you improve you will get tested by a harder opponent likewise a lessor opponent will be tested by you. The more the game grows in active users, the greater the prize pool will get. There is also a practice league. Skillz has a loyalty program by earning ticketz win or lose each match. It is pretty solid and you receive items you redeem very quickly (6 days for FitBit I redeemed couple months ago).

Anything by skilzz is literally the worst, when you first download the game you win a bunch of matches but all of a sudden you stop winning and somehow someone gets a score higher then yours, and if that happens for some reason no one ever joins your game that you had a high score in so you never get the reward, I was actually enjoying this game at first until other players started killing me in the first 4 seconds of the game!?? How is that possible!!! The only way too win is too deposit money... word of advice anything by skillz just ignore.

The newly added live matches are an amazing addition to an already great game. The Skillz platform is always improving it’s available titles, and Tetris in particular has made so many improvements over the last few weeks. Highly recommend trying this one out and testing your skills against other players around the world

This is my most used app right now because I’m a huge fan of Tetris. It makes the gaming experience even more fun and competitive when you put money on the line. I also like the fact that you can play vs other people without using any money if you just want to practice. Highly recommend giving it a try!

This app is amazing and I have been enjoying it for a few days now. Anytime I have ever occurred a problem, the support team is always quick to resolve and questions or concerns. The only thing that bothers me is that, if a T-piece is one of the first 3 pieces you can be sure that your opponent will be doing the basic t-spin factory setup. Which basically lets you get infinite t-spins if done correctly. And this kind of ruins the game because it kind of becomes whoever is luckier with their points win. The only way I could really see them fixing this issue is either giving more points for speed, so the less time it takes from piece spawn to piece place gives a bonus, or make having a variety of piece breaks give more points. (E.g getting a t-spin double then a triple gives an extra 200 points, or a Tetris then t-spin double then t-spin triple consecutively gives an extra 1k.) If there was a bonus for getting a variety of breaks I think this game would be my 100% favorite new competitive Tetris game. Even if they don't fix this issue I still really enjoy this game and I am happy I found out about it. 4/5

Overall this product is significantly improved from its prior state. The matchmaking is quick and the optional t spin gives balance to people who want to play with t spins. I also really like the live matches. That said I wish the game would give options of gameplay between the limited pieces version and an unlimited version. The current version gives essentially no real bonus for speed, which is an important component for modern tetris

Great game but I haven’t figured out how to cash out my earnings LOL also I don’t like when I play a match and wait for the competitor to load their score a whole day or hours later because that tells me that a computer gets to choose the opponent play & select if I win or lose. I’d rather have it ALL LIVE. Still a great game and takes a lot of my bored time haha. I should start reading books LOL

Been playing for quite a while pre blocking the t-spin for points you may or may not know what a t-spin is but it’s a part of Tetris and involves some skill but no longer rewards you for you skill . Fun game love Tetris and every aspect of it the REASON the game is great and have always loved it is the FREEDOM you have to play how every you like NOT how most games force you to PLAY THEIR GAME and be the fastest and most precise player . Play the game how you want to play and I will play mine but don’t restrict how someone can play because some else can’t play that way . There are levels to everything and sometimes you are well below the the levels of others but that’s the reason to get better . Well sorry for the rant but I still enjoy this game despite them restricting my play I’ve learned to speed up basic Tetris’s and have learned a new technique the “perfect clear” and the new head to head mode is a good addition and now the ONLY game mode I play now because you can’t use COMBOS and that makes the game more lively and interesting then seeing how fast and how many Tetris’s you can land .

the game is pretty fun and its nice competition, but there are times when the game runs super slow and gets extremely laggy, and it almost always causes me to mess up. im thinking that this might be because at the end of the match you are sometimes able to watch a replay of the match, so i assume its being recorded as you play, which is what is causing it to be so laggy. if there were an option to turn this off in settings, or just an update to the apps performance, this game would be so much better side note: i have an iphone xr, so this shouldnt have been an issue. this problem also wouldnt be nearly as frustrating if i werent losing real money because of it. smh my head update: during one of my recent games the whole screen went black and i couldnt continue the match. upon reentering the app, i notice that i had been auto aborted from the match. this was also in a match with money on the line. imo this app is just way too buggy for real money to be at stake. 3/10

I am very good at tetris, and I am disappointed in the bets in this app. You bet .60 to get .40, at the lowest level, and the proportions stay consistent as you bet larger amounts. So if you lose once you have to win twice to make up for it. Also, bonus cash is plenty, but you can’t withdraw it and it will disappear if you withdraw your actual cash. Even as a good Tetris player playing around 30 minutes a day, my amount of cash stays about the same. I put in $10 in the beginning and will not deposit real money again.

It’s a shock to me that when I play a $10 game they seriously take my money when the wifi doesn’t “connect” at the last second. Ugh hey my wifi is working fine stop stealing my money. Total scam. Other then that the games awesome but seriously might give up like it’s clearly a problem with their app and they’re going to rob me of $6 every time something “goes wrong” and you can’t connect me to my game. Very frustrating please fix this and stop stealing my money

I have a request, please have in the settings have the music bar thing actually work. The music isnt the normal tetris music and it bothers me. Also bring from the tetris game with the primetime, bring the ability to change what the game looks like. One last thing i would like the pairing with people better. I keep on losing cause every body else is a higher rank and a tryhard. I want people on my level please. Thank you if you fix the problems above, Sincerely, user mastergame616

This game will match you against harder and harder opponents to the point where it becomes seemingly impossible to win. They continue to do this until you literally have no money left. As someone who has been playing Tetris for a while, I can outmatch most people in Tetris. However in this game, its extremely unfair since it doesn’t give you a fair chance at winning. You should reward people who are good at Tetris instead of sending them to a separate bracket where their skill becomes obsolete. If you ever plan on playing this game, don’t spend money. You will lose you money for being skilled. Im not exactly sure how they do it, but it is either rigged or they use an extremely unfair algorithm.

Hello, this is Julian McCunney and a have recently got this game and when I tried to put $.68 for the one dollar game it said I have to pay $10, I feel like they should have NES Tetris on the App Store from you guys and I should not have to be paying to play Tetris mobile. Also you guys have ruined both of your games because of how many ads you guys have put in them. You guys should let people play the game on mobile and not having to get a illegal copy on an emulator. If I could read zero stars I definitely would because this app is trash and not what I was paying for.
