I love this game. The games are a lot of fun and the furniture options are so pretty and easy to put together. I really appreciate that the storyline doesn’t get in the way of decorating the shop too much. It’s a major pet peeve of mine when I spend hours getting stars to complete tasks on games like this one only to have to use most of them for useless things like talking to people. I was also shocked that there aren’t many adds unless you decide to watch one to get a boost or extra turns. My only issue with it is that for the first couple of days most tasks are only one or two stars if it’s a bigger task but once you reach chapter five they start costing two or three for small tasks and there are suddenly a lot more hard levels than there were before. I spent around an hour the other day collecting twenty stars but I was only able to complete half of the tasks from the chapter. Other than the quick change in difficulty though I love the game and It’s definitely one of the best house renovation/decoration games I’ve ever played.

This is seriously my favorite mobile game. It’s super addicting, cute and challenging. I’ve been playing it for a while and have been ranking high for some time now. I have always loved the charm of the game and it always makes me come back. Since I have beaten all levels and am now on the “Tournament of Champions” levels, it just feels like these levels were random and thoughtlessly created. Totally get that the concentration is on the new levels but doesn’t mean the “filler” levels need to be overlooked. For example, there have been multiple times now where (most of the levels on the Tournament level have the “genies” that zap/paralyze the yellow pieces so you cannot interact with them) the available slots are not enough for color combos and so the level completely shuts down OR it’ll reshuffle over and over again. Not to mention that when it just shuts down, you loose the life. This is seriously such a great game but please fix the game dynamics on these levels and make them properly adjusted. Thanks guys.

This game was pretty good… but there’s a lot going on. The gold tix (for what?) the cash (I have so much and rarely use it) the story line, the turtle mini game (it’s ok but not really necessary) the coins for upgrading is what gets me…. The farther in the game you get, the more upgrades cost, the harder the levels are, but I’m still only getting 500 coins/game. I have to play 2-3 games to make 1 upgrade… 1100 coins for a measly umbrella, and I’m not gaining more tix to continue playing. And the florists bank won’t get bigger unless you pay real $ and I don’t even think that’d be enough. When I started I’d have 14 tickets/day and now it’s more like 7-8/day. The more I play the more they entice to pay real money.. I just wanted to make a cute lil florist grow and be beautiful. Now I don’t even wanna play anymore.

The design is so cute, I love renovating the shop and choosing the style. However, just like most games like this, actions start costing more than 1 star pretty quickly. But at the same time, the levels get so much more challenging that sometimes I spend all 8 lives multiple (I’m in the florists club) times over trying to pass one level. Add that with most actions now costing two-three stars means I only get to complete a new action like once a week even with playing every single day. That’s even with me being in the paid florists club, the levels get THAT challenging. That’s making me lose interest, which is sad because I love the style and illustrations and I want to see the whole area fixed up 😢

The game is okay. But eventually with the quests/tasks after you first start it gets pretty hard. Yeah it’s not gonna be to easy but it’s pretty hard. I still like the game but I do think when you need to do quests and you don’t have enough coins and you do the things to get more that they should be a little easier. This game makes me just stressed. I don’t know if I wanna continue with the app or not. And the fact that when you run out of moves and you use some money to continue and it gives you only 5 more moves disgusts me. Literally thinks that’s gonna do anything. It’s so expensive

I like the game so far, but I hate how in the ads it always says one thing and then you download it and it you find out it ended up being click bait! I thought there was supposed to be all the choices that’s what made me interested in the game in the first place, what made it stand out not just the standard 3 choice panel. Other then that big dislike. I am enjoying this game. Lily’s Garden will always be my first choice, this definitely is my strong second! 🙂

This is easily one of my favorite games to play on my iPad, but I’m disappointed with the lack of levels, I maxed out levels in October and waited for the update, but it only added about 10 new levels, and I don’t mind the championships, but I’d like to progress my island without waiting a month at a time for 10 levels.

I seldom rate a game until I’ve been playing for awhile. But now I’m ready. While I love the story and characters of the game I never receive any of the blue jewels which you need to purchase the lawn mower and other helps in the game. As you begin in the lower levels they give you a few of the jewels here and there and then it comes to a complete halt leaving you with having to pay real cash if you want those to purchase game helps Also for each level and chapter passed the coin pay is so low that it takes way to long to save enough coins to purchase the other power ups. This takes much of the fun out of playing and I can only imagine the game would be much more popular if they would not be so tight fisted and raise the coin pay and give more of the jewels out. No one likes being stuck on a level day after day with no power ups or helps and no way to get those.

I am very very far into the game and when I downloaded the new version it won’t let me link my old account. I will not start all over! I play this game all the time & just want to start from where I was! I’m sure other people are having the same issues. I already tried linking the game up to my Facebook and my apple account and nothing happens! This issue should be fixed on your end.

Ok, the game is good. However as you advance there’s too many extras thrown in that make it nearly impossible to pass lvls unless you spend real $$ which sadly I don’t do. The boosters rarely show up if selected for the hard/very hard lvls and don’t work how they do on easier ones so you basically throwing them away. You can use coins earned to buy them HOWEVER you barely make coins. The design aspect is beautiful but it splits it up into so many different steps to complete one task that you can’t complete for days sometimes if you’re stuck on same lvl. Each lvl ONLY awards ONE star yet each task is mainly 2 or more and some w/multiple steps. If they eased up on all the extras in every lvl it’d be more realistic as well as awarding more coins and stars to complete steps. There’s a free dive section to earn things but you lose the items to yet another extra thing added. Starts off good but gets tedious and frustrating after a while. If you’re into spending real $$ on games you’ll be fine.

Dear developers of Ohana Island: When I logged onto the game to do my daily gameplay I saw that there was a new update, but when I pressed start it put me through the old dialogue when you first ever start the game. I was very mad that my stars and old stuff I put in were all gone at first I thought I lost all my data. I knew some bugs were fixed but the new update made me very mad and I was wondering to know if you had done some test runs before releasing the new version so if you were able to fix it could you tell me how or if you had to update it again to give everyone’s data back and I also have a question why would you have to pay with diamonds to keep going onto a level and not coins. I am hoping you see this review and fix the game Love reviewer.

I've been playing this game for months now, and it's cute. I like the story, the art & most of the design choices. However, the app no longer works for me after the most recent update. Every time I open it or press play, I get a pop-up that says "Failed". I've restarted my phone, updated the software, deleted and re-downloaded the app, but nothing has worked. I can't remember if I connected my facebook and/or apple account(s) to the game, so all my progress is likely gone after deleting, along with all the gems I had purchased before. It's incredibly frustrating, and at this point, I don't care enough to download it again. Sorry, developers.

Before the new version came out, I had finished all of the levels and was disappointed that I could not recover them on the new version. I decided to start over because I enjoyed the game enough to start over. After getting to about level 150, the game completely glitches and just stopped working. Response to Developer: I figured I should restart my phone before I left a review and it still did not work. I also reached out to you all about my game progress a few days before the old app was disabled. I was not given a response to my issue until the day after the new game had came out and the old one had been taken down so, no you guys did not recover my progress either.

I’m paying for a subscription that’s not working. I’m not getting the VIP BENEFITS. When I click to subscribe it’s saying your currently subscribed. I’m being billed 5.99 a month but not getting the benefits. I reached out to developer, and they have done nothing. This is so annoying bcuz I luv this game, but being forced to delete it bcuz I’m not happy with the lack of the developer help to resolve my issue. Sir I have sent you receipts of months of me paying the subscription even up until now. I never changed my account to use a free one, that just sounds dumb, when I like the benefits of the subscription. I mean that is what this review is all about. The only thing I did was copy my player ID bcuz the game told me to, and deleted the old version and downloaded the new version. But when I think about it that’s when the issues started. Either way, I got it to work, I just cancelled my subscription and resubscribed, now my benefits work, something you should’ve gave direction to do, seeing all I wanted was for it to work.
