    This game is amazing

This game is amazing all though there are some thing I do not like about it like even after you get all of the first team you still have to use the stone they make can you change that because I want to be able to save up and get to ten fast and not have to be forced to spend them also I want a cat faction It make sense because there is a mouse faction so there should be the enemies of the mouse faction the cat faction

    Could be 5 stars

This game has a lot of potential, I love the play style and combat system. One thing that makes this 4 stars instead of 5 is the cost to refill your energy which is 230 gems which is outrageous. If the devs are reading this I think your generous of your in app purchases, I’d you would lower the cost of refill of energy I think you could retain a lot of your player base because right now we only get 30-40 mins of play a day without spending 10-15$ a day to have continual playability...don’t be greedy we will spend money if you support us as well.

    Almost Fun for everyone

Good graphics. Interesting Strategy with roleplaying. Fighting terrain is always different and keeps you on you toes. I do like the game. Not able to play the game at all is not fun. I was hooked then energy drained then i finished all the side activities and still waiting for energy. The energy regeneration time needs to be decreased or energy needs to be bought or earned more too keep a player moving. Free to play player make pay to win players happy. No free to play = No pay to win. Matchmaking is embarrassingly terrible. Bosses are surprisingly difficult on difficult maps. Cant out strategize opponents when maps bottleneck. Heroes are fun but I can see heroes unbalancing fights very quickly due to tier levels. Going to need more characters to balance. Only 2 skills per character is low and worse that the skill can only be used once yet some characters use passive skills repeatedly. Unbalance and dead time are huge flaws in this. Thanks for all the good parts.

A game with lots of potential, but a broken economy.

This game is really fun! Graphics are awesome, characters are enjoyable. The primary reason for my 3 stars is the insane in-game economy. As it currently stands, new players will get 2-3 free 10 pulls when they first start. Which may sound like a lot, but because it uses two separate shard systems AND includes gear, that’s not much at all. Once you’ve used your 2-3 10 pulls, it becomes a complete grind fest. 3000 gems for a single 10 pull is at least several weeks of work. On top of that, a single energy refresh is 200 gems!! The cooldown for other game modes like Onslaught and Raids is also extremely long. I’m giving the developers the benefit of the doubt because it’s a brand new game, but the economy has to change. If things become more affordable, players like me will be more likely to spend a few dollars here and there. If things don’t change though, I’m guessing many of us will leave.

    Great gameplay, greedy developers

This is really a fun game to play. Good blend of tactics and character collection/development. However, after a week or so of play, it will rapidly become apparent how much the developers want you to drop some real money, and how they will increasingly punish you if you don’t. You’ll find that the one resource you will always be lacking in is gold coins; virtually everything in the game depends on it. This game gives “miserly” a whole new meaning. Without spending cash, gold is ludicrously scarce. A whole day’s worth of gameplay might earn you enough to increase ONE stat on maybe ONE of your heroes. It’s very frustrating, and ironic, because that level of scrooge-ness just makes me more stubbornly NOT to want to give them money. Hopefully soon, they’ll realize their error and tweak things a bit....

Good game, but Shards and Laurels slows down progress

A lot of the gameplay aspects of the game and strategy are fun, but the progression system is severally limited. 1st you need a certain number of shards to unlock a hero, then you need to have laurels to increase their ranks. However, afterwards, you then need shards a 2nd time to upgrade them to a different rarity, then repeat the process over again. Most power differences in PvP can be made up for with proper gameplay, but in terms of other gachas it is a little stingy on giving access to pulls after the 1st week of playing. Finally the most recent event was good in theory, but you could not advance through the quests unless you unlocked units of a certain faction that not everybody had access to... thus preventing from completing the event and getting the rewards. This was a horrible oversight and should be addressed going forward. The game is good and is fun to play, but there are frustrating things that hold back its potential right now.

Great on the Outside, Rotten on the Inside

As I and a lot of other reviews here agree, the game is great on the outside. Graphics, characters, boards etc.. but once you start the grind of leveling these characters you start to feel like “ok is a grindy kind of game, but it’s fun so not bad.” Unfortunately, it is grindy and bad! The grind in this game is almost impossible! I get the devs don’t want all the pay to play peeps to get everything and be bored but I don’t even see how they can do it!! Seriously here is a legit breakdown.. one character let’s say is an Uncommon. This character comes in at 1⭐️. To raise its star it takes some emblems, no biggie. Get it to 2⭐️ then three with the emblem amount increased each time. No issue just quick raid each level right... nope. Only 10 a day! But, let’s say you get to 4⭐️, now it’s time to “evolve” to rare. This takes a new set of emblems (rarer drop) and two other ingredients that can, you guessed it only be purchased or dropped from a different mode that you get three attempts a day, good luck! This all wouldn’t be bad if it didn’t keep you from leveling up characters past a certain level (Uncommon capped at 17) which in turn makes clearing stages eventually halt! Sadly, this will happen and all you are stuck doing is daily achievements to get 10 tokens to hopefully draw some luck out of a 10 summon. It’s really off balance for any player tbh. Devs need to listen and fix some of these issues. The game is broken.

    Extremely stingy game

I love tactics games and gatcha games, and this is both. Similar to FF Tactics, but very different world and art style. The gameplay itself is fun, but my goodness, this is the stingiest game I’ve played on the App Store out of hundreds. As many others have noted, the economy is completely warped. Buying anything with any of the currencies is absurdly expensive, the energy system/recharge are ridiculous, even cool downs are 12 hours for a 90 second run — everything is out of whack. This makes progress extremely slow, and there are multiple limitations/restrictions on powering-up characters, which slows things down even more. Shard systems are fine for unlocking characters, but shards AND “laurels” AND multiple other “slow down the players to make them pay money” measures is inexcusable. I’ll still give it a shot since it’s new and the developers will hopefully make some changes, but if not, I will not be sticking with this one or spending any more money. Lots more enjoyable and generous games out there.

    Fun at first

I agree with many others. This is fun in the beginning, but after playing for about a month, you hit a wall with upgrading characters. As you get higher in levels, the items you need to ascend and promote the characters become too rare to find with the limited number of attempts per day. It becomes frustrating when paired with the fact that the levels become exponentially more difficult, especially when you can’t upgrade the characters. Fun game at first, but I am getting ready to remove it from my iPad. Too bad because this could have been a long term keeper if it had better balancing. Look to Empires and Puzzles for a well balanced game.

    Grind

I would say the game has the bones to be good but I just don’t see it happening any time soon. I play a lot of games and spend in all of them. I even spent here and unless you spend hundreds of dollars it’s not worth while. I dont even mind play to win games. I just want my money to go further. It almost forces you to spend as well. The rewards are the worst i’ve seen in a long time and you have to grind a ridiculous amount for minor gains. The fact there’s one server also holds it back. It’s not very competitive when players have been playing much longer. It doesn’t placate to new players at all. I would rather just delete and spend more time in other games.

Tons of potential but...designed for 🐳

UPDATE: I deleted it. I like the game a lot. But I just can’t afford to play it the way they want. I don’t normally leave these but this game has a lot of potential and I hope the Devs listen to the community. The balance in the game is skewed toward pay to play and whales. We all know games aren’t free to develop and they need to make money to keep content coming. However, if you drive away the fan base of ftp and low spenders the game will die too. The positives: very fun to play when you have energy or tickets for events. Graphics are great and the character system is interesting. Lots of potential for growth. The negatives: Wait time for energy is excruciating. Gem costs, gold drop amount and character shard drop rates are abysmal. The two shard upgrade system makes leveling your heroes take a ridiculously long time as you grind away unless you 🐳. Plus there is a two gear system that also makes powering up expensive. 3000 gems for a 10 summons seems reasonable until you see that you only get a few gems a day. Heck you can’t even do a 10x summons for less than $25 if you don’t have the “bonus gems” and that 10x summons might not include anything other than gear and shards for heroes you aren’t close to getting. Lots of potential for a winner. Lot of potential for it to die quickly if the devs don’t adjust some things.

Love this game. -cost is aggressive

Wish I could play more. The cost to play is getting out of hand. This one will likely go to the bottom of the pile as I'll have to wait a day or two to play again. Update After playing for a couple of more days. The time it takes to get anything and the cost to play are fast making this potentially great game impossible to play. I pay for games and have been known to put money down when it's worthwhile. The cost/time structure is slightly ridiculous. Between laurels OR shards, and wasting a lot of time and effort to not get what you need, and then time it takes between attempts on top of sheer cost, I'm losing interest. After reading Reddit threads on this game it sounds like this is a common complaint. It's too bad you're losing long term players.

    Ultimately Bland and Unbalanced

The campaign isn’t too bad as it follows typical games like this where you slowly grow in power/abilities. Which is ultimately the same premises of every other game like this, and built on the same faction system with items you can equip and skill you can gain. The multiplayer aspect of it is unbalanced though. If you’re free to play be prepared to serious lack in most categories of the game. If somebody spends $5 they will immediately be way stronger than any F2P player. The differences and who you can be matched up with in arena isn’t based on a power system, you do it on a random map, and will always go first. Even occasionally having your opponent spawn in an area with dmg reduction, which will frustrate a player. The rewards are nothing to write home about, but that’s not a knock since all games like this are the same. They offer minimal rewards that seem valuable early on because you need them, but then you quickly get bottlenecked. You can get them by purchasing “loot boxes” though. Overall it’s cliche and adds nothing other games like this add. It’s okay to play for the first few days but gets boring quick.

    Nope

Could be an absolutely great game, but it is not. Really good graphics, gameplay, and progression possibilities ruined by hard bottlenecks on things needed to get stronger. When you need 3000 gold to level up one ability on one character and you get minuscule amounts of gold for playing through campaign stages, and the same bottlenecks exist for other progression materials, you soon find the game comes to a complete standstill. It feels like the devs tried to come up with a great game that would inspire you to pay a lot to progress, but in that they have failed with me. Spending moderate amounts of money would only extend the time until you again come to a standstill. Too bad, I could have loved and supported this game.
