Great game with a lot of potential

So far, this game seems far superior to many other mobile games that i have played. It is complicated enough to keep me interested but not too complicated to the point of me wanted to quit. Like all of the other reviews say, it’s addicting and i can’t stop playing it. The only problem i have is that now that i have a very high paying job and can afford every business and property, there isn’t much to do anymore. It seems as if i just grind out work days just to buy properties over and over again with nothing new happening. I realize this game is somewhat new so I am excited to see what will be added but if i had to say anything it’s that there needs to be more to do late-game, or maybe milestones to reach to give an incentive to keep playing. Also, now that i have gone through all the jobs and schooling, I think it would be cool if there was an alternative route that i could take to become rich once again, or maybe famous instead. So far, this game is great, and I feel with time this game could be one of my all time favorites.

    Frustratingly good

Hi there, first of all I’d like to say that you’ve created an amazing game! It’s fun, not too simple, and can be played over and over again! I’ve really enjoyed trying to figure out and navigate my way through life as a hobo... well in the game that is haha. I really enjoy how realistic you’ve made the game, it’s really easy to get pulled into. I do have a few critiques though... The game has so many options (which is good thing) so I occasionally hit the wrong button... especially since they’re right next to each other and they all look the same. Wouldn’t be a huge deal except one or two taps can greatly put you in debt and kill you... all those hours of gameplay down the drain because of a few misclicks. So I think it would be really cool if you added a redo button, maybe in return for watching an ad? Like undo the past 3 days by watching this 30 second ad? Both sides profit huh? Besides that I believe this is a great game! Please continue working on it, you’ve done great so far! Thanks for the awesomeness:p

Best game in a long while

I never ever come to any app to write reviews. I think this may be my first one ever. But I am absolutely obsessed with this game. It so simple but so much fun. I’ve played so many lives and have fun going through different paths to be successful. I think someone else mentioned additional careers which I think is an awesome idea. I also love the idea of pop ups that let you choose something with random events and the choice affects your game. I had a popup ask me about drinking on my 21st birthday and it was so cool. I don’t even remember how I came across this app but I’m so glad I did. It’s so small but so much strategy without being ridiculously impossible. I love the challenge. One thing I had trouble with was scholarships. I had earned one and it seemed like the next day it was gone. I also have written MANY essays to spend 20k+ just to apply and it got me nowhere. I do really love this game and so look forward to updates in the future!

    Fun

Really fun game it’s taken up most of my day. So far my current age is 68 with a life expectancy of 81. I have noticed a couple small glitches or what seems to be glitches. I was a doctor with a private practice and then when I returned to the game it brought back the title to resident I’m still making the same amount of money so it wasn’t a big deal. Also when I sold one of my apartments the money didn’t go back into my account. Mortgage was fully paid off. Not sure if this is intentional or not because my net worth stayed the same. It would just be nice to have that money to spend. Other than the small things I’ve been enjoying the game. One feature I would like to have is a day multiplier so I’m not tapping a thousand times because my fingers are getting sore. Keep up the good work on the game. Looking forward to what’s to come.

    Great game

This game is very good at a homeless to rich, the structure is great and there is multiple different ways to play such as working your way up the ladder of a company, making your own business and becoming rich or dumpster diving to becoming rich. However, the best way to becoming rich as of what i seen is through working your way up the ladder of a company. I started begging until I made 500 dollars and bought a market license, then I went and started dumpster diving and then started working my way up the ladder and don’t waste your time on being a realtor because it barely makes any money. Make some businesses as you go up the ladder and invest into the retirement fund because that will make you a lot of money for the reason of it goes up around 2000 dollars a little down the line. Don’t forget, the best way to learn is through trial and error so you will die like 5 times before you start getting the hang of it and don’t waster your time on lottery because you lose a lot more than you gain. THIS GAME IS SO ADDICTING until you get to the top and start making around 3000 per click and lived 80 to 85 years it kind of makes you want to restart. All around the best homeless game ever with a stock market and lottery system and more.

    Inlove!!!

The one thing I would suggest is can we get a meter to count down how many days we have left to live. Also it would be cool to add in relationships or family choices. They can either add value or become an expense depending on who we date or are friends with. Might be an interesting concept to add. I literally shared it with all my friends. I think this is such an amazing game and so addictive. I must have died like 50 times but I still get better at life little by little. I recommend everyone should play this game and force others to as well. It is very relatable to life and the struggles of trying to support yourself. Cost of living keeps going up as your income remains the same lol 🤣 take my advice don’t live out of your means. It will only bleed you dry.

    Great! Lots of potential...

I got this game in a whim, and was completely sucked in, I think there are so many more aspects that could be added, such as language, and what not. You have to be very strategic about what you choose to buy, because making money is not easy. I think somethings that would make the game more interesting is if you had a character, so each person would have different strengths. Maybe you had immigrated from another country and could not speak English, so everything was written in a mess of letters. I wish there were more jobs to choose from, along with more things to buy/sell. But on top of all of that, this game has a lot of potential, and I think that with some improvements it can turn into something totally AWESOME!!

    Frustrating but addictive

This is a really great and fun game but the more lives you play the more frustrating it gets. I think it’s dumb that you have to go step by step in the beginning get this to get that and that to get this it makes it a very tedious start with no strategy to it. There needs to be a way to keep the Econ index up. As well as to keep it consistent. I had 4 jewelry stores and like 15 bike shops I was making like 1500 with it I got a text left the game, caramel back and was loosing close to 3k a day. It’d be nice if when you hired the economist that he kept your business at a minimum profitable. Or like a stimulate economy purchase you could make that puts Econ index at 1.5 permanently cost like 5 million or something like that. I don’t know.

    Great Potential

These types of life simulator games have become really popular in the past few months. And for good reason, they are really fun! I think this game has the potential to be one of the most popular games if it is grown. I think the creators need to go more in depth in the game and have more options that you would make in life. I have a few specific suggestions and a couple questions too. My first suggestion is that I think there should be more options of jobs. Right now there is literally like 6 career options, and that’s not nearly enough to make it realistic. I also think there should be more options for getting your life expectancy up like going to the doctor, exercise, meditation, and other things like that. My first question is that I have no idea how to make a business more successful. Right now my bike business is losing 50 dollars a day and as far as I know there is no way to make it have a profit. So my suggesting for that is clear, make it so that you can make a business better. I also have a question about retirement. There is no way to retire. You just have to keep working until you die, so the retirement savings are pointless because you are just going to keep making money no matter what. Anyways, those are my suggestions, good luck.

Great game and glad the Devs are fixing slight tweaks

It’s an amazing game that really lets you uniquely survive with your preferred playing style but the early stages are just rough, my only problem is begging is essentially the only thing that really works because nothing else is reliable enough with high enough a pay day until you get like a year or so in and can afford advertising, buying like 3 or 4 dogs and only begging will lead to around a 4,000 a year payday then the best thing is just calculate exactly how much to unlock the chain of items needed to get advertisements in one big purchase without the chain of items daily costs just making it a longer process, if the other jobs were more reliable it would be amazing because then you could actually work up the chain and make the same amount of money a lot easier and faster, the early game does need a few tweaks but I’ve read other reviews and the devs are awesome with responding and trying to fix any issues and I’m thankful for that, the game has a lot of potential and hopefully the devs can make it so!

    Makes no sence

Why do I have to get a 500 dollar phone to work at a fast food place. Why do I have to get a bus pass to get a phone... and when you’re applying to scholarships... why does it start costing more than it would to go to school. Writing essays doesn’t do anything because they won’t give you money no matter what for scholarships so why even make it an option. It doesn’t cost to apply for scholarships... none of the beginning street jobs are worth it... and the buying and selling in the market isn’t worth it either because the days spent waiting for the market to change you could just be working actually making money. The tax is WAY too much and there should be an option to have the taxes taken out while you make money and maybe work the other way like a tax return

    Forced path

This game has a nice UI and could be a great game. However, I was very put-off by the apparent forced path that you must take. To become a fast food worker, you need a GED. Ok, cool, got that. Oh wait, you need a phone too. Ok, no big deal. Oh wait, to get a phone you need a drivers license? Kinda weird but that’s no problem. Oh, I need a bus pass to unlock the drivers license? That doesn’t make sense but I guess I can do that. Oh, I need to unlock graffiti to get a bus pass? And a bike to get graffiti? And a guitar to get the bike? It just doesn’t make any sense to me, and the only reason it seems to be there is to make the game more monotonous and force you to spend more money on things even if you don’t want to use them at all. Hopefully the dev removes these restrictions so that you can actually make meaningful choices from the beginning without grinding through meaningless items.

Rad game, except it’s impossible to move past the first job tier

I’ve played the game over and over and over and I really like it over all, except for the fact that no matter what I do, I can’t ever seem to get a scholarship nor make it in to college and up the career ladder with out dying from the debt that you instantly accrue upon doing pretty much anything….it’s getting extremely frustrating….I don’t understand why everything to help you progress past the first real job to stay alive longer or move up financially in any way, is literally beyond unrealistically priced I mean if you had $100K then you most likely wouldn’t need the things that cost rhat much to help you stay alive or progress in the game. And I think it’s absurd that there’s no way to make payments towards school or housing or anything beyond student loans and mortgage which gives you the full debt instantly and instantly starts to take your life expectancy down 7 days per day that you have that debt.

  • By preshypie

    Unnecessarily convoluted

So many aspects of this game could be fine if the devs weren’t dead set on making you go through unnecessary hoops to get to the end. In what world is a flashlight $100? Why do I have to buy a guitar before I can buy a bike? On top of that, the game design wants to be minimalist and it succeeds far too well by making the game the absolute opposite of intuitive and user friendly. The instructions when you open it are an unwelcoming block of text that you NEED to read or else you’ll spend a few lifetimes figuring out how to navigate a game that makes no sense in the first place. If the devs wanted these specific game mechanics it makes no sense to base it in real world concepts like homelessness. Getting a cheap phone is easy these days, why does it cost $500 in the game? Studying for anything let alone the GED should not take 32 days for your chances of passing to only go up by 5%. Poorly thought through game concept, and the insult to injury was how long I had to play it to figure out how to play it in the first place.
