Idk
The game overall is pretty great but the drawbacks are that there are too many ads and whenever he said do you have to pay the unnecessary amount and do something completely unnecessary to please him and then he comes up with a new problem and for some reason when you get a better job than you had the last one you get paid less and then you don’t have enough money to make the requirements for the job after that and then you just have to watch a video for 500 as much as you can and does the best u can do to get more money
Overall great game buuuuuttttttt.....
Wayyy to many adds like seriously there’s an add at least every two mins. And the prices for stuff is way too out of proportion vs the real world. I jus think that it could be a bit more realistic in some parts and that there’s a lack of continuity. Overall great game to play
Nearly fun
This game is really fun, but you spend more time watching ads than playing the game. There doesn't even seem to be an option to pay to turn off the ads. Also, every job after courier costs more in expenses to get the job than you make. For instance, to get the assistant job, which pays $125/mo you have to have a "dude," which costs $650/mo. So I thought if I pay for the dude and get the job, I'll get promoted in a few months. But then I need a car to get promoted, which is another expense. A car costs $250/mo, and the next job pays $190/mo. See how this is not going in the right direction? But I somehow managed to save enough from the courier job, the last to make enough money, to cover buying a car going into debt every month to get all the way up to waiter, at which point I saw that I needed to go to school again. Despite not buying anything at all beyond what was needed to get the next level job, I was broke and going into the hole at a rate of about $200/mo. I couldn't even afford my expenses, much less the cost of going back to school. Very annoying.
Two suggestions for more fun gameplay
Firstly, the days pass way too quickly. If the clock were slowed down, it would give players a more reasonable chance to get things done. Secondly, the ads. I don’t have a problem with advertising on games. This game, however, shows ads way too frequently. The ads are constantly interrupting gameplay and ruining the player’s chances of success. At the very least, offer ad-free as an in-app purchase so that the game isn’t as difficult.
Entertaining & Painful
I love the theme of struggling from poor to rich. But, I deduct 1 star for way too many adds every time I change screens practically the whole time the add is playing your guy is losing money become the time clock doesn’t stop. So, it’s counter productive as a player to have so many add pop ups. And, I deduct 1 star because as much as I dislike being cohersed into paying, I actually tried and there was no option to pay to stop the apps.
Good Game Except For Some Huge Drawbacks
Notice my choice of words there, not great. While this game would be amazing it has a few major drawbacks. First of all the ads they are insane they pop up every single time you leave a screen or enter one. Next is how to move up you have to take on a new job that payed less and requires more expenses and just have to hope to get to the job that supports your expenses but most of time it doesn’t happen and you hit rock bottom and essentially have to restart the game, I think that would be fine, IF YOU GOT TO CHOOSE YOUR DIFFICULTY AND THAT LEVEL WAS “Very Difficult.” Next happiness your character loses happiness twice as fast for many reasons but then when you solve one of those problems do you won’t have to spend tons of happiness he finds another excuse to be unhappy and some of them are unreasonable, for example I just had got into the restaurant industry and I was happy because now my character wouldn’t complain about being in the no skills sector the second I clicked that new restaurant job he complained he wanted an office job. Unbelievable. These 3 things make this game trash, devs fix this and I promise you I will vote you a 5 star game as will many others as lots of people have these same ideas/complaints. Kudos if you read to here, Thanks!
Good on Paper
Say it with me, you should not be fired because of your food. Or vehicle, or family, or clothing, must I go on? There’s an excessive amount of ads in this game, it’s like I can’t even scratch my nose without an ad popping up. Also, for a homeless person, he really wants everything. I can understand a dog, but the dude? The dude is a leech, to put it softly. He costs $650 a month. He’s required for a side job, which I had to get because he “wasn’t making enough” even though he had about $200 after every month. I can’t get far in this game because mental well-being is an actual requirement for a lot of jobs. This should just be a tycoon based game, instead of this bull. Speaking of bull, RNG is required for the Casino, and the Stock Market, and I understand that, but 75% of the time I just lose more money.
Why live above means?
It’s an interesting game but the the concept is a little off being that the person is constantly living above his means. If there was a way for him to actually get to the next level without hitting major depression and committing suicide or losing everything and becoming a hobo again it would be a much less infuriating game. Ninety percent of the time playing this game I’ve just been trying to keep the character from losing every which is really annoying because then he becomes depressed because he’s bored of work and you have to spend a couple thousand to make him happy again which in turn sets you even further back in attaining the next goal.
WHY I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS.
So overall I like the concept of poor to rich, and how it works but the ads get on my nerves. I can see why there are so many reviews talking trash on the ads, I can barely play this game because of it. The time goes to fast and money goes down, you have no option but to spend money just to get a good job. The casino is barely in my favor and the stock exchange gives me nothing so I do not recommend it. At first it was cool but now I don’t think I would play this if I was recording... that’s why I rate it a 2 star. Hopefully you don’t have the same experience as I did because overall it was a bad experience.
Dispair
This game has such a fun background too it. You get too start off as a minimum wage person and build yourself up the ranks. Well, the idea is fun. If you actually get time too play the game since every time you press the screen an ad appears. The Jobs it gives you doesn’t pay anywhere near what you need too survive and if you even try too play it smart and stack up your money, your character will just get very unhappy with that decision and you’ll just die from trying too be happy. This game should be fun or hard depending on the person playing. At least make it possible and people would love too play it
Unrealistic
This game seemed like it would be fun, but it forces you to buy in app purchases really quickly. Without buying you couldn’t complete the game or progress at all! Your expenses ALWAYS outweigh your income making it impossibly blue to progress, then when you lose your job the game asks you to buy money. This isn’t how life works, unless you’re in major credit card debt haha. The developers are hungry for money instead of making a great game. Usually in app purchases are to “get ahead” but in this game it’s essential if you want to continue playing. Good luck, you’re not getting my hard earned money. Try again.
Very fun game but started turning into an add page
This game was very fun I enjoyed it a lot but all the ads absolutely destroyed the experience. I would try and do something and click to open one of the new pages and it would bring me to an ad. But something else I don’t like is that it forces you to buy stuff that physically cannot get the money for. So it forces you to go to the casino, do stocks, or watch a video for money. If it didn’t have lots of ads and it didn’t force you to do stuff you physically cannot pay for then I would enjoy this game a lot
Could be great
I love the concept of this game, it sounds like it could be so much fun. The unfortunate thing is that an ad pops up every couple seconds. I only ended up playing for about ten minutes because I couldn’t stand the ads. The happiness was going down so quickly but I had to wait so long for the ads to end that there was nothing I could do to keep up with it. If this game gets updates fixing the ad issue, I’ll give it another shot. I have some other potential problems, but I couldn’t play long enough to even find them.
Ungrateful homeless guy wants a mansion and a mistress NOW!
Game was impossible without in app purchases. It was fun but you can only get your job to just pay over your expenses and then when you get a better job, you make less money? The time moves way too quickly when trying to manage his ridiculous happiness needs. There was no real way to play this game without continually losing money while you try to make more on the stock market which is only buying time until you can’t afford to make yourself happy again.
