I have not played a match 3 games in years. While playing another game and getting free stuff by watching a commercial this came up, I only downloaded it because of the commercial and Immediately thought I’ll try it be disappointed and delete it but it’s a solid game with a few extras that make it interesting.

I have been playing this game for about a month maybe a little longer, it is a great game to this point. However, like any new game it could use a few tweaks. First, there is no explanation about anything, you just kind of learn and guess as you go. Would be great if they added some how-to’s or explanations of what some things are for or how to obtain certain things. Not entirely for f2p people, as it would be super slow to gain some good hero’s if you don’t buy anything. Bigger alliances can come down and attack the smaller weaker ones with no limit to how many times you can be attacked. And because of that, many small alliances have trouble growing and becoming strong enough to defend themselves. You have to gather resources constantly to be able to do anything. There is no way to search for certain level/specific resource pits. You have to just search the grid until you can find something decent. All and all it’s a great game, I’m literally playing all day everyday.

This game has a ton of features to offer, including city building, match-3, resource gathering, and gear upgrading. It does, however, allow higher level players to attack lower level ones. This means that either you can keep monitoring the game to put up shields up when necessary, spend real money to level up quickly, or be farmed. I got attacked by a level 25 player when I was at level 12, and there’s basically nothing I can do about it. I don’t have the time or budget to go further, so I will exit here, but for those with the time and budget, there is a lot of game to be played here.

It’s been years since I’ve played a match game (candy crush, bejeweled, etc) and this one tops the competition due to the war game aspect integrated. Caveat to the war game aspect: it is expensive to stay shielded/protected but manageable with due diligence. A few tweaks here and there with some server TLC will make this game outstanding. Note: you can search for monsters and hell fortresses (alliance rally PvE option) but can’t search for resource nodes so if needing resources, you’re spending your time physically scrolling through the map trying to find what you need.

Fun game with lots to keep you occupied for quite a while, especially if you don’t spend any cash. Typical puzzle-clash of clans-etc. time based games. Higher level building requires excessively increasing times. Still fun and engaging. Higher level game becomes a time killer, log on complete a few buildings, attack, get dailies and then go play another game for 8-12 hours. Those are the only cons. Money helps to build faster but not totally necessary.

This game as well as their gem matching zombie game is a money vacuum cleaner. It is very fun at first-join an alliance, create gem factories, update your empire, get hero cards then like a water slide it all goes downhill. Instead of receiving hero cards you are given speed up tokens which do not help you win games. At level ten, I had no gems available to heal my characters. All the gems of a certain color mysteriously disappeared (1 or 2 appeared) when in combat . I am willing to throw a few bucks to developers who give players a fair chance of winning. Loosing again and again then forcing you to pay to win is just not fun. I also agree with the reviewers who mentioned the higher level bullies stealing lower level players resources. A 30 level player vs a level 9 player? Really?

The game looked like fun when I watched the (forced) ad while playing 7DS, so I downloaded it and gave it a try. Seems like a cookie cutter version of other games but I do enjoy the candy-crush style of gem-collections in order to attack. After finishing the first part and leveling up I took a gander at the other “heroes” it had to offer and noticed that all the humans are white. Sure the vampires and demons are purple, blue, and yellow; but I’d like to be able to select someone that looks like me in the avatar or focus my attention on a hero that I connect with. Or is part of the story line that only white people became heroes in this game? Maybe there’s a “diversity” expansion pack coming? ^_^

Of all the games I’ve played, this is a reasonably well balanced game where pay2play players have an advantage, but not one that leaves everyone else in the dust. You still have to play well to rank. On the other hand, they run contests where you have to place in top 100 of server to win a prize, but then they tell you that you are disqualified from a prize because you didn’t earn enough points. Literally only 10 people are actually earning the prizes in events like these. I did the math and to earn sufficient points, you have to spend at least $50. There is no amount of grinding that will get you there. Why run pointless contests and slap most of the ‘winners’ in the face telling them they need to pay to get the prizes they won. Greedy buggers.

It’s a great game. Fun to play however there are at least 2 big tribes that are BIG bullies. They will destroy your kingdom until there is nothing left and just keep attacking. Then they send you threatening messages. This is a game, it should be fun and entertaining, not STRESSFUL!!!!!!! No matter how much time and money you spend you can’t advance in the game due to the BULLIES!!!!!!! There needs to be some kind of rule banning over destroying your kingdom. It’s sad that people have to be bullied everyday and then get bullied in a game. I’m going to stop playing I suggest if you value your time and money DO NOT PLAY!

The game is fun and addictive, but there are many issues that makes me just want to quit playing. Game lag after reset is terrible. Game freezes non-stop, anything you are trying to do in game is not responsive, what usually takes a second takes a minute instead. This lag used to last a few minutes after reset, but it gets longer and longer, now it lasts 2-3 hours after reset and it’s almost impossible to play during this time. For those who live in US and like to enjoy your sweet evening time after work playing I would not recommend this game, reset is at 7pm Eastern time, and you can’t play normally this game until like 10pm. I have complained many times about this issue, and I’m sure many players did, but it’s useless, game developers just don’t want to invest a little fraction of the money we spend on this game into purchase of a new fast server. There are other issues like game chat for example. You can’t type in words containing combinations of letters like “sm”, “ice”, “game”, and other, which makes it hard to communicate. You can’t type in words like “small”, “nice”, “working” etc. Overall, major issue remains lag (freezes), and it’s getting worse and worse, and ridiculously long, and doesn’t look like they are planning to fix it. I am considering quitting since the only time I can play (evenings) I can’t play because of game lag.

I started playing this game and have enjoyed it until fairly recently. The “kingdom chat” has now been taken over by a majority of one guild but also a couple others that feel it is ok to constantly type racist and homophobic slurs, gross sexual comments, and even verbal threats of sexual assault. Multiple complaints have been lodged by multiple players with screen captures from different times and from different people. Unfortunately it is the entire chat that is taken over so no other people can try and participate in that part of the game. They also send private messages and harass anyone that want to chase away from the game. The developers response to the different complaints was “ they have been muted” which was completely not true and it continues still. Just be prepared to be offended and attacked on a personal level of you want to play this game. Developer failure!!!!!!

I was having a great time, spent money generously, etc. until I realized that the developers encourage you to buy lots of resources, where as a new player you exist purely to be a meatbag for higher level players to raid for loot. Nearly 100% of your resources can and will be stolen, and virtually your entire army permanently wiped out. Nothing prevents a higher level player from hitting you repeatedly so quickly that you cannot even pop a shield before they wipe you out even if you are online when it happens. Nothing encourages fair fights. The game is designed to have lower level players preyed on. Then when you are wiped out it offers a small amount of recovery for cash only. Since you buy resources for real money and wait times are long unless you pay, their business model is essentially built on stealing your money. Hard pass. Shame since it was really fun for a bit.

The major thing wrong with this game is that there is no protection period after someone attacks you. Once you reach lv10 (which is about 7 days of gameplay) your shield goes away and it’s open season. I feel like i wasted all my time building my profile up and it all went away completely in about 6 hours while i was at work. People say it isn’t pay to win but it is. To get shields you have to pay for them with diamonds which are not plentiful and you have to pay to get the diamonds. Not worth any more of my time. There are other game choices where your time isn’t getting ripped off.

The game is ok, like most build and kill games you have to learn the mechanics. Heaven forbid the server goes down and you try to reach someone to get a resolution though. CS is unresponsive and must be sitting on or sucking their thumbs. I don’t write reviews but this really ticked me off. I spent money to build in this game and I can’t get any kind of response from their CS at all saying anything from we are aware to hey thanks for letting us know we will work on a fix. I know I’m not the only one spending money but a response goes a long way.6 hours in and not a peep or a fix. Still waiting...
