You lovely, lovely people. You created something so beautifully deep and enduring. The trial period was so well made and I adore that you allowed me to experience a very hearty trial period which really brought me in. The graphics are beautifully done. From the way she walked (and got winded sprinting) to the very detailed way you created her to climb, jump or pull herself up. I was instantly enchanted. So much work and detail was placed inside such a deep and soulful story, words simply can’t express the beauty of this masterpiece. The stories were so wonderfully heartfelt and the graphics made me very truly feel for this community of forgotins. The in-depth details made me look around at some of these other things I have lost and all the other things I used for replacing them. The games forgiveness for the wrongs I had done made it all the more endearing. Without giving away the details too much, i just simply want to say thank you. After about 30 or so minutes of crying my eyes out over how beautiful this game had been, I simply want to end on a thank you note for everyone who was involved in such an amazing piece of work that was very akin some of my favorite Studio Ghibli films of all time. I would love so deeply to see this turn into a series and would purchase a part II in a heartbeat. Also, an animated series and a movie or three. Splendid job done. Thank you. 💚

okay first impression: super intrigued, the cut scenes and, not sure what word to use but the animation(?) is seriously beautiful. i was a bit bummed by how short the free trial was, but it was appropriate, not a super big bummer like “ooh find out what’s next of this cliffhanger for $4.99!!” it was just not knowing what to expect and being curious was all, nothing super dramatic, to me at least. the game is entertaining and it’s not a super easy game, i think anyone could play it but there are definitely some parts that took me awhile to get through. Overall, guys, it’s really worth it. If you don’t usually buy games, ask your parents to get this one for you, or save up money to buy it for yourself, i mean whatever the case is, it is worth it. i’ve played through till the end and i want to play it again because as you go through there seem to be a lot of different outcomes of whatever, so it’s not necessarily a one time play. this is a really long review but i really appreciate this game and i think anyone who is genuinely curious and wanting this game should get it, it’s worth it.

When they say "light puzzle platform" in the description they are being misleading. This is not a puzzle game. It's an action game. Yes, it's a lovely game with superb artwork and a terrific idea. However, I am disappointed because moving the character around seems to be the main point of the game: it's 95% running and jumping. I don't consider figuring out where and how to leap a fun experience -- to me, it's an exercise in frustration. I know that this is totally entertaining for a lot of people; if you're one of them, this is a great game and will be an entertaining jaunt through a wonderfully imaginative world. I happily recommend it for that. If you prefer to be entertained by exploration, real puzzles or solving problems this game doesn't offer that -- even though the presentation implies that it does. It's such a creative idea, why not just say it's an action game? It's like opening a beautiful box of chocolates and finding cashmere socks inside -- great, but not what you expected. I'm still giving five stars because it's a good game and incorrect descriptions can be fixed.

Hi game devs! I just first want to start off by saying how amazing the art work, the story, and the puzzle portions of the game. Everything exceeded my expectations too well!! I also want to point out how well the trial portion was. It told enough about the game and its mechanics. I usually delete games if I found out it required me to pay after the trial, but because it was so well done, this was the first that I've ever bought! Like, wow!!! Sure sometimes moving around like climbing ladders or going through alleys were a little difficult but the graphics and the story was SO captivating it was definitely forgiving :"). I don't want to say anymore just for anyone reading this so I dont give it away, but I really wanted to give a big thank you to everyone that contributed in this making. I was whole heartedly touched with the ending as well and the continuity throughout the whole thing was absolutely spot on! A big shout out and thank you to you all. P.S. To those that are reading the reviews wondering if this game is worth it or not, I understand that paying $7 may or may not be worth it. BUT, I ask that you at least play through the trial in the beginning. I'm usually never the one to pay money for games but this was SO worth the purchase. So please take this into consideration and take a look 😊 P.S.S I honestly wish I could rate this 10/10 stars instead of 5

I Honestly Love The Game, Yes, It’s An Action AND Puzzle Game, You Have To Figure Out WHERE To Go, So I Figure That Out As A Nice , Lovely Puzzle , I Love Fig, Bulb, And Especially Anne And Jinx, They Were Lovely Characters, Jinx Even Made A Very Nice Statement On Titles And I Think That Is A Lovely Lesson On Life, And How Your Actions Will Take You, Overall I Love The Game And I Think The Purchase Was Worth It. I Just Hope That You’ll Make A Second Game From This, I Don’t Want To Be Kept From That Cliffhanger, Like How On My First Decision I Made Was Crystalizing Anne, There Was Only White, But I Want To Know What Exactly Happened To Her, And My Second Choice Was To Go Home With Bonku, And All We Got Was His Workshop, And Her Floating Down And Under The Bridge, Which Are Both Extremely Great Cliffhangers. I Just Hope That You Didn’t Give Up On The Second Project And That It Continues To Grow On, I Joined Your Discord But I Just Really Hope That This Review Inspired You To Keep Going. No Matter What.

So I decided to download Forgotten Anne for myself and it was indeed like the reviews said a stunning beautiful storyline, I really enjoyed the game and it’s beautiful art-style, the music is fitting with the dark-foggy theme of the environment around you, there’s so many words to describe this masterpiece ❤️❤️💕 The only problem is, I downloaded this game 2 days ago 7/2/19 and before downloading I purchased the full game and was so excited to play the full game now that I have a job and making money so I played and played until I got to the part of finding the wrench for TIPHANY to fix the gate, when I got past the gate and talk to the shoe kicking the pipes, it took me back to the menu to buy the full game even tho I already bought it, so I bought it again and played a new story and when I got to the same mission I was before it took me back to the main menu again asking me to buy it. PLZ FIX IT 😭

This is possibly my favorite game available on the App Store. I love the platform scrolling and puzzles, as well as the easy mobile controls. But most of all, I love the story’s pacing and the unique premise (where do lost things go?). And the characters! They’re so complete and compelling, and I fell in love with all of them. I’m not sure how long my play through was, but every time I had to stop I desperately wanted to go back and finish the game. The animation is smooth and almost reminiscent of a Ghibli film. Despite the one or two glitches I found, my gameplay wasn’t too disrupted and even if I accidentally reset a level, I genuinely enjoyed playing through it again. If this studio ever comes out with more games in this universe, or more games with this style of choice and puzzler, I would LOVE to play them.

I can’t believe I have never heard of this game before, I’m so glad I stumbled upon it! Right after play the beginning I knew I would enjoy this game, so I bought it as fast as I could. It really pulled me in and I couldn’t wait to see what was ahead. Not only do you get to actually interact and do adventures/puzzles but it always gives you a giant story! I was confused about some things in the beginning but it made more sense after I played a bit more. I’m not gonna say spoilers but Fig was my absolute favorite character. I love how each of the characters and places you go to, have such detail and background to it. I also love how there is voices for each character, I hate reading what they say while playing games, so this was amazing for me. I don’t think there is one thing I hate about this game at all, which is strange. Each and everyone that helped make this game, I thank you! It was such a amazing, beautiful story and game over all. I’m so glad I bought it, I was worried about it not being good after buying but it was even better. The ending made me teary eyed but it was still great. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You all made an amazing game and I would love to see more games of yours like this🤍

I can tell how much love was poured into this game. It almost hurts how good this game is. I went into this with not many expectations but what this game offered me went through the roof. The gameplay itself is normal, but it goes perfectly with its extremely exceptional story. So it was a perfect balance. Even though the endings literally destroyed me emotionally, I will never forget how this game made me feel. It was an experience not only a game, which is something that can’t be said about a lot of games. I wish I can personally thank each and every person behind this game and tell them you did phenomenal. The only thing I wish was done differently is the ending (I think I lost 3 litres worth of water because of tears) and the marketing! I mean, how is this masterpiece of a game not so well known?

I love games that you can tell we’re a work of passion for the creators, and you can feel it in this! I’m only 15min into it, but the depth and attention to detail are flawless. While it may be a simple puzzle platformer, it’s beauty sets it apart! From the voice acting to the artwork, you can tell the creators were working from love rather than with the intent of pushing something into the marketplace for financial gain. These are the kinds of games that I have no problem paying the money for the full version! I also like that they give you a notice that a given interaction “could have turned out differently,” although me and my OCD are dying to know what the other outcome could have been, thankfully they let you save multiple storylines! Even this early in the game, I’m hooked! Bravo to the creators on this one!

I downloaded this game yesterday and I just finished it. I fell in love with the artwork, the story, everything. You can really notice the amount of work that was put in it. Thank you for making such an mesmerizing artwork and animations. I was hesitant at first to buy the full game, but I gave it a chance. I don’t regret it but personally if I knew it was going to be so easy and short I wouldn’t have paid $6.99 for the full game. I loved that it had a few puzzles but it’s more of an action game. The endings shocked me and I’m not going to lie I got a little mad cuz I finished the game so fast and well the ending(not going to spoil it). I love that the choices I pick have different outcomes it makes you stop to think before you do. I’m giving it four starts only because for that price I expected a longer game. Also the game is like 75% dialogue and there are scenes you can’t skip like for example the boat one. But overall the game is amazing I recommend if you take longer to finish games.

I can tell the animators put SO much work into this game. It’s stunning and i’d never expect this high of quality animation in a game. My only problem is that it’s hard to figure out what to do next. If it’s been a while since you progressed, it would help a lot for a hint to pop up. Maybe it’s just because i’m not a puzzle person, but I constantly find myself searching walkthroughs on games like these because there’s just no clue to what i’m supposed to do. It would massively improve my experience if I could get small nudges in the right direction. It’s kinda hard to move to a specific spot to open doors or use function though. If the character didn’t slide forward after stopping, I feel it’d be a lot easier to use functions. It’s quite realistic that you slide forward, it just makes the game a bit frustrating. It’s got a very interesting storyline however, and i’d definitely spend the money for the full game, if it weren’t for those two small things

This game is gorgeous and the story and puzzles are interesting and fun. I could see really enjoying this as a console game. I saw it for the first time in the App Store and purchased the full game on my iPhone after playing the free portion because I loved it so much, but it seems the mechanics are very poorly suited for smartphones. It’s very slow to respond to your fingers/to move in general and in places it is excruciatingly difficult to perform the simplest navigation actions, like jumping onto platforms, switching from left to right, or turning on controls (this is especially frustrating since some challenges require fast, timed, and strategic sequences of actions). It’s a shame, because everything else about the game is fantastic, but the terrible mechanics make it infuriating to play. I hope that future updates will improve the mechanics for this format.

When I saw this game on the AppStore for the first time I new intently that I had to get it. I had to get rid of a lot of games to get it but I new it would all be worth it in the end. And when it was done loading I pressed the screen and I was so exited and when it Finally done loading it said... THIS GAME IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS DEVICE. I was shocked. It BROKE MY HEART. So I deleted it and got it again same answer. And then I decided to go to the AppStore and looked at it and it said it didn’t work with Apple iPods and not just that there are many devices that do not work with the game. Only a few worked with it and I asked my self why would the game developers restrict such a beautiful game to only a handful of people. And I bet I am not just the only one who has the problem. What to the game developers expect me to get a whole new device just to get this game?! I think no one should get this game until the game developers at least let iPads get the game. Until then it will just be a big disappointment just like it was for me and billions of other people😩😭😔
