Great but a Suggestion
I love this game! It’s a great time killer and you can tell the developers put a lot of effort into the game. I love the pictures and how gorgeous they are. I love the graphics and how detailed everything is. I love the challenges that you can participate in. I am so tired of the bland match3 home design games because I love decor apps. This game has such a unique concept, and it combines my two favorite types of apps: home decor and coloring. This is a great game and I would definitely recommend this to a friend. However, there is one major flaw with Gallery, and that is the fact that whenever I leave the app (not close the app but leave it to do something else for just 30 minutes), the app will restart, and that wouldn’t be so bad if I wasn’t in the middle of coloring a picture. One time, I had to color part of a picture 6 times before finally finishing it. This is a really big issue for me and super annoying. A way to improve this problem is for the developers to have a little section where you can see pictures that you haven’t finished and can just finish it whenever you want. Overall, this app is amazing, but I do hope that the developers can fix this problem. Thank you for reading my review!
I love it
I love the game it made me warmed up and let me get ready for work I play with this game while I’m on my way to work and it makes me wake up and get ready for work and later after I run out of energy for the level and I was at my work so I got out of the game and told my boss to see if I need to do anything and the boss tells me that I need to do it and after I did it the boss checked it and it was the way that the boss wants and it was my job to do it now the boss likes me and later my job is over and on the way home I got back in this game and made me got relaxed until I got home and later it was nighttime and it was time for me to go to bed and I started to play this game at night and when I run out of energy and do the quests it made me go to sleep and it made me sleep so good. In the game, it has a bomb that helps me go thru the color level and when I tap on the bomb it lets me choose any where to color it for me and I love the sound it makes after the boom and this game I send my friends a lot of the pictures I made and my friends loved the pictures I made from this game so I really appreciate it thank you so much for making this game it’s the best game so thank you for making it and it was the app I was looking for.
If your thinking about purchasing look at this
This game is absolutely amazing! If you are like me and you like the designing home type of game well this is the best one I have ever played! Usually you get a design game and you have to earn points by playing the candy crush type concept. I get bored of those pretty fast because you can get stuck in a level for a long time. With this game you can actually enjoy yourself and take your time. The artwork is so pretty. Once you finish one of the pieces of artwork it hangs it in your house. One thing I love more Than anything is that usually in the designing type game the house is ginormous it takes forever to finish or you don’t even finish it. With this game it is a nice sized house and you end up getting to go to the shoes like the boutique and gallery. The only thing I don’t like is that you have a certain amount of energy that you have to play the game. When you run out you either have to pay with the money that you have in the game or you can watch one video only that gives you 20 more energy. The game makes you use the energy you have to do the artwork and sometimes it can be around 40. Other than that this game is super fun and kind of addicting.😍
HATE the timer!!!!!!!
Edit: Yay!!! Thank you for listening to us. The timer has been removed and now I love this game. I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. This is a perfect game to kill time but not become addicted since you do use up energy to color pictures. I love this game but the timed levels are extremely unfair. First of all, these are the only levels that have more than 25 colors and there is no possible way one could color all those teenie tiny spaces in 3-5 minutes. Therefor it is impossible to beat unless you have a bunch of power ups and even then you have to be super quick as you don’t have enough time. And seeing how every 3 or 4 levels is a timed level, you don’t have enough time or levels to stop up on power ups or gold to buy them. So it requires real money to play. Sure, you can get rid of the timer if you subscribe but there is no way in hell I am paying $10 a week for a game. This game could be fun if they got rid of the timer. That’s the only thing that would make me delete this game and no longer play it. I can deal with the ads and the lack of power ups, but the timer is just way too much. Either add a few more minutes on these levels or get rid of it altogether.
I absolutely love this game
One of the most important features of this game is there are no ads that pop up every 3rd time you finish something. So many word games have gotten so bad that they are no fun to play. 3 games then an ad. Delete. In the beginning the number of paintings you hav to paint to get a task done is low but as you progress though the game it gets higher. I’ve finished the game. It goes up to 1300 pictures and you get to do the whole house, the back yard, the park behind the yard then you get to do the Cafe which is a lot of fun and then a really cool bonus which i was not expecting, an extension to the museum. Some of those tasks took 6 pictures x 2 to complete. But it was worth it. Now that i have no more pictures I’m given the option to get a random picture of one of the 1300 i already did. Or I can do the contest if it’s available or purchace one of the packs of pictures that are themed. One thing I wish at this point is that i could choose to color any picture i want again and not have it random. There were some i really don’t want to relive. But, honestly you can not loose with this game you don’t even have to spend money. It’s a really great game.
GALLERY!
This game is super fun for many reasons. First of all, Homescapes and Gardenscapes would be games I would play all the time, except the levels you do to get stars are too darn hard. But in Gallery, even if they are hard, you get tons of helpful boosts, and you can always come back to that number later. Another reason this is an amazing game is because of the beautiful and colorful art you get to color. The paintings range from mandalas, modern art, easy, hard, landscapes, portraits, and etc. You never know what painting will be next! And finally, the characters are cool and relatable (though sometimes their jokes are super corny 😏) and the cat is a fun addition to the game (mines name is Sir Walter) The only things I would change are energy. You only start with one hundred energy, which only lets you do 2 or 3 paintings at a time, which is frustrating. The only way to change this is to pay money, or buy it with your coins. Also, I feel there are too many advertisements for in game purchases. Otherwise, thank you so much for making a game that doesn’t bombard you with ads 24/7!! I hate when games do that. Thank you!!!
Love this game
I have been playing this game for a while now and I absolutely love it I love the sounds when you get a bomb completed door when you get closer to getting things done the sounds they make I love being able to decorate being able to spend the money being able to do all kinds of different things I’ve actually been ahead of the game twice I used 1000 levels and had to wait for the game to update when it updated I was a little bit upset however because instead of needing one or two stars to complete one thing you needed six to eight stars to complete one care and it gets very frustrating because I am less likely to spend money because I’m frustrated with the game I think if you give people a chance and I do spend money in the game I’ve now reached the second 1000 and I’m waiting again for the game to catch up with me which shows that I do have fun playing the game because the average person to break please think about what it means to people I am handicapped and I stay home so the only way that I get to do things and enjoy things is at home and I know developAnd making a game cost money and you want money back but over the long run if you have somebody that’s going to spend $20 play the game online thing quit or you have somebody who’s going to spend $7.99 but stay with the game 234 years and purchase more and more and more 799’s you’re going to end up with a whole lot more money than if you just went after it on the fast part use a little morality
Such a great game - just some few suggestions
First off, when I saw an ad for this, I thought, “Ugh, just another coloring game.” Then I saw it had a story with it, to improve a house. I love coloring, and I love house improvement games. I’m tired of the Match-3 genre for a story. I’m so glad they incorporated coloring instead. Not only that - the pictures are beautiful and seem like the artist put a lot of time into them, and they have a part in the game! I love the graphics, I love the option to choose the character’s response, and the graphics are even better in my opinion than the mainstream games. I do have a suggestion, however. And it’s one big problem I have with the game. When I first played, I wanted to play more. But, it costs energy for each coloring page. I think the energy aspect should be modified. I get, the owner wants the consumer (us) to want to come back for more. But with how much the energy costs for each picture, how little the energy storage we have, how we can only watch 1 ad for 20 energy then have to spend coins, and $8 a week for a subscription (?!), it almost feels like it costs too much to play the game. If I could watch an ad for 20 energy and be able to restore my energy in minutes and not hours, that would be awesome. I would play a lot more than I do now. That way, I can play more if I want to, and they get money from ad revenue. It’s a win/win where both sides compromise.
Great game but could use a few changes
This game puts a twist on typical house design games! I definitely like instead of the usual match 3 technique, you get to color. It’s a nice change and it’s a lot more lively. But I do have a few suggestions to make the game better! For example, instead of customizing all of the nearby furniture in one or two go’s, we can customize them one-by-one. It would make customizing houses somewhat more challenging, because it’s easy to finish them. My next suggestion has to do with the stars and missions. A lot of things you have to do require stars. Like when you first start playing and you need to go greet the mailman outside, it takes stars. Or when you had to go check out the living room. Things like this are missions I personally don’t think should take stars, just because they’re easy and don’t have to do with customization, making them not as important. Those are my suggestions, if any game developers have read my review, which I highly doubt (but it’s worth a shot, right?), please take them into consideration! The game is amazing, definitely. So far my gameplay experience has been awesome, I haven’t been bombarded with ads and it’s enjoyable. I definitely recommend to anyone! Even if these things don’t get changed, I would still continue playing, but my experience would be even better! Thank you. :)
Solid game but has its faults
I’ve been playing this game a little over a year now and it is definitely one of the better coloring games on the marketplace right now. The pictures are beautiful and it’s super satisfying the way the game itself plays - for the most part. Their most recent event in game was the Seasons square thing: you color a bunch of different pics for different town square rewards. My MAIN issue with this event is the chest aspect of getting new pics - I saved up my coins 3 times to 2400 to purchase a gold chest of pictures (which can be a tedious thing to do and can take several days especially if you don’t pay for power ups which I don’t) and the amount of repeat photos I got was almost embarrassing. I barely got any variety of pics in the chest and I ended up being able to only color 58 of the EIGHTY (yeah 80) pics and didn’t get any rewards for it despite all the time and coins I put into it. I was super disappointed in the event and would have been happier if it had given me a more variety of photos to unlock - or make the photos cheaper in terms of less paint drops to use to unlock. The game is fun but it almost feels like a grind sometimes to unlock the nice stuff, and this in turn makes me feel like the developers want you to spend as much money as possible to make it “easier”.
Overall a great app
I like this game a lot! It is very relaxing and the pictures and colors make me happy. There are no consequences if you can’t play every day, except the restart of your daily rewards and maybe not finishing an event. There is plenty to do for free, especially if you watch videos. If you do pay for things, I generally feel you get good stuff for what you pay for. The only exception is the subscription. I would actually subscribe because overall this is a well-designed, beautiful, engaging app and I want to support the developers, but $8/week is insane! I would pay $10/month. My only other complaint is that it doesn’t save your progress. :( If I am in the middle of painting something and have to leave the app, a few times all the work I did on a drawing has been lost and I have to start over. Not a huge deal, but it is a bit of a pain point and oversight that you can’t start a painting and come back to it later. Oh also I wish that I could save the finished drawings to use as backgrounds on my phone! Some are so pretty and I would like to be able to see them outside the game. It seems you can do this right after you finish a picture, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to go back to a picture later and save it.
Very fun, some issues
Almost all the other home design games out there are match-3 based, which can get boring quickly in my opinion. I was really happy when I found this game! My excitement dwindled when I realized just how LITTLE you can do on a full energy bar. You quickly get to the point where each painting takes 40-50 energy to complete, so you can only do 2 paintings on a full charge that takes, what, 4 hours to refill? My math may be wrong, but that is still WAY too little for WAY too long. The events provide things to do while your energy recharges, which I am grateful for. This current one about the elements is interesting, but I don’t understand how someone can get enough paint drops to buy other paintings from duplicates alone. It takes long enough to get free suitcases... Don’t get me wrong, the paintings are fun to do and the app overall is great, but I beg you, devs, to consider either extending the max energy or lowering the time it takes to recharge. I’m sure many others also want this - in fact, looking at the other reviews, I’d say quite a few do. Thank you for making such a fun and innovative game! It’s nice to have something to break the tidal wave of match-3 games coming our way. 🤣 Thank you for reading and have a great day! ✌🏼
Gallery
This is an interesting concept to put together a decorating game and coloring. The pictures are very modern and flow out of color bottles that slosh. The game needs a lot of work to make it more interesting. The story line is lame. You have to color pics to get stars to complete a decorating tasks. Basic. But to color the pic you have to have a certain amount of energy to be able to color the pic. I usually manage 2 pics a session. Today I had 30 energy and my third pic cost 40. There are all these bonuses you can earn or buy but I never use them because why do I want to finish a pic faster? The bonuses are on a floating bar at the right and you can see the pic underneath. I am constantly hitting a bonus on the bar because I see through the bar and have not scrolled clear. You either slow down and use the bonus or you have to click it again to clear it. There is also a story line about restoring an art museum. Along the way you earn dollars for a task but this section has no coloring. You also don’t have a choice of pic. You click on the task and the game gives you a pic. There is a third twist that I haven’t figured out yet. Something about finishing a certain number of pics in a certain amount of time. Sometimes I play this In the am and pm because it takes forever to gen more energy. I am waiting to see how they improve the game over time.
Poorly designed & total rip off
The premise of the game is cute, I'll give you that. But the entire game is a rip off. I'm still trying to understand why you would want to force people to not play your game in the first place, with this screwed up timer joke. The incessant ads for in app purchases are obnoxious, the whole "buy a safe of virtually no coins for $80" thing is ludicrous, and to top it off you can't even pause the game. I exited the app for a minute to check something, after having paid plenty of lightning bolts or whatever to open a picture, but I didn't get to finish the picture and the app restarted, forced me to start the picture from the BEGINNING, and STILL took my lightings. It's basically impossible to get anything done in this game without paying for it. And if you DON'T want to pay for it, you have wait forever and basically get one task done a day. This is a horrible business model and game design. With how much money you're trying to steal from people you could AT LEAST improve the graphics. This is a huge disappointment. I feel bad for the people working for this game because this is disgraceful to your art. I was really hoping this game might be different too. Why don't you just charge a flat rate for a decent game? Oh, wait, that's because you don't actually care about providing entertainment for people you're just trying to con money from them. Sad.
