You can’t win this game by slamming fastballs down the middle. The “glitch” only happens if you throw faster than a human could throw a candlepin ball. The pins are a little harder to hit and knock down than real candlepins, but it is a lot easier to throw the ball straight. The two opposite effects result in the game being realistic as far as scores. My high is 157, but I can still toss a 90. Just like real candlepin.

It's like the game is back to normal. The update you guys did a few months ago was horrible. The physics were way off. There were no more exciting spares or strikes the pins were like cement. With your very recent update it's almost like the original game you guys put out. So much fun no more low scores because the pins have way better physics. Thanks!

I’ve CandlePin bowled in real life. The ball going through the pins that are perfectly in place just never happens. That’s game issue #1. The ball going straight through the pin is issue #2. Please address these issues. Overall, it’s a really great game. Just a few issues that need to be addressed. I won’t play for real money until then.

I love this app because it is literally the only CandlePin bowling app available via App Store. You don’t have to play for cash but you can. It is as realistic as it can get. Also customer service is excellent. They will refund games that crash or do not let you finish. I highly recommend this game for any little ball bowling lovers from Canada or New England US

For those of you who actually know what candle pin bowling is, here is a great way to spend some time playing the game we love. While the game encourages you to bet on cash games, it doesn’t require it. It matches you with people either online or off-line without slowing the game down. Great job!

Very Good app, great fun, crazy addictive! Very curious as to how they “match” people. Only small problem is sometimes it crashes, they are normally very good about refunding. Make sure you dont have more than 3 apps open while playing! All in all the way the game plys is pretty smooth and extremely fun.

I love this game it is a real challenge. I like this better than regular bowling. And it’s fun. You have to try it. You will be surprised. It not easy as it looks

I’ve bowled CandlePin my entire life. I’m in my 60’s and grew up at the lanes because it was our family business! Can’t find many lanes anymore and that’s a shame. CandlePin was/is a game even small children can do because of the smaller ball. The only problem I have with this game is the % of oil on the lanes. Something messes with your actual spin on the ball and it could be the oil on lanes. I also don’t feel the ball should ever be able to go through the set pins and not hit a pin! Not realistic guys! Don’t forget, I’ve been bowling CandlePin my whole life! When you score a hit by bouncing out of the gutter, it’s not supposed to count. Still love the game but want to improve especially the ball not hitting or seemingly going through the pins!

I love this game I’ve wanted a candlepin bowling game forever. As someone who grew up with this type of bowling I can say it is very realistic. My only problem is sometimes the ball clearly goes straight through a pin without knocking it over. Also maybe allow for different color balls or customization of them?

I like candlepin bowling but when I play this game the ball goes right through the pins sometimes. Also when the ball hits the pins there is not enough pin action like there should be in candlepin bowling. I don't know if I want to play real money yet on this game until they fix it and update it.

I’ve played this game for several months and have had success in it. I’ve won money matches but have since stopped thanks to how glitchy the pin action is, especially in the new update from a month or so ago. If you throw the ball too fast, you have a tendency to have it go through the pin(s)...literally. Almost like you never even touched it. This got me so infuriated I actually broke my iPad and had to go purchase a new one because it happened so often, especially since it would cost me the match several times. The competitive nature of this game is awesome, but the game physics need to be fixed for it to be a five star review from me.

Idk what the developers are aiming for with the latest update but it is destroying the candlepin part of this game. The ball goes thru the pins more often than it ever did before. The pins seems to have less action and the scores, at least my scores, are way down. Spares seem exceptional harder to get. I want to go back to the previous version.

I'm greatly impressed with the physics of the game & the time it must have taken to create it... Is free, yes... But I've played 100 games and - in the last 25 games - the ball has gone THRU the pins at least nine times. With such close games, it's more frustrating than a fun time-waster... I'm sure an update will correct it, until then, I can't play anymore...

Many times too often in this game have i thrown a ball dead on and it goes thru pins to back drop without hitting any pins. This is especially fun to see when i have a spare lined up and ball rolls right at pin and nothing is hit. Really fun watching these replays and seeing ball vanish into ghostly air instead of hitting pins then it reappears behind the pins with no pin fall.
