This game is everything I wanted out from a music tapping game like this. Other people say that theirs are glitching, but mine has no problem. Though, I would like to comment. I grew up in a family where it doesn’t tolerate swear words and sexy girls (lol) and in some of the music videos, it does sometimes swear and have girls in them. It’s not the game’s fault, it’s mine. Just wanted to point that out, doesn’t really matter. Overall, this game is so good! I enjoy playing this. I really super duper appreciate the choice of songs which are modern, and not so much inappropriate songs. The tapping things are also accurate too, which I SOOOOOO appreciate. I would like to thank the people who made the game accurate, enjoyable, and nice. 😊😊

This game brings back such great nostalgia for me since I played the original Tap Tap Revenge growing up. I do have two things to gripe about - the type of ads you show during the game and the music. There are an extreme amount of ads for games promoting violence against women and others. I have only gotten ads for “sniper” games where the intent is to harm another person. Also, 90% of the songs are K-pop. I have absolutely no idea who any of the artists are. I’ve tried recommending songs on their Facebook page like they say, but my recommendations are never chosen. Older songs cost coins and I can’t play forever to download everything I know. Overall, the app runs great, I just think you should upload older, not less popular, songs to appeal to a broader audience. Put regulations, if that’s even possible, for the ads you show. This game is for kids and the ads make me very uncomfortable, even as an adult. The song list is also extremely long and the scrolling ability isn’t very fast. There’s no ability to search for songs either.

I’ve been enjoying this game for a few weeks now, and if it weren’t for whatever update that might’ve caused this issue, I would’ve given this a 5-star review; this game is unlike others in that you can earn your way to more awards just by playing the game, without any hidden fees or impossible milestones. The game has lots of great songs and recently they added even more that seemed to cater even more to my style, which I was very happy with. However, upon opening the app today, I noticed that one of my favorited songs (that I had “purchased”)- “Peace Sign,” in particular, was not on the song list any more. When I went to my favorites list, the song was there, but upon pressing play, it would not start. This was very frustrating for me because it was one of the songs I had purchased with the coins. I don’t agree with the developers removing songs after they’ve been released, but if they’re going to do that, I at least ask that they leave the songs in the libraries of players who had already purchased the song. It would’ve been a waste of coins and effort otherwise. Aside from this very recent issue, I’ve had no problems with this game and I’ve greatly enjoyed it. I hope that whatever bug that caused this is resolved soon and that any missing purchased songs are restored.

This game at first was very fun and very challenging. Before they updated the game, it was awesome. Now it’s just very boring and there are so many ads in this game. You get the same coin amount for easy and hard songs. That make no sense at all. Another trend i noticed about this game is that on Easy mode for some songs it will literally make you miss when your spot on for tapping the correct button and on hard mode you can literally miss some buttons and it won’t penalize you. Rap god is one of my favorite ones on here but if you honestly pay attention play the song and when you get to the hard part literally miss a few buttons on purpose and you will see what I mean. It will count them for you and that is what kinda killed this game for me. Hard mode is easy and easy mode will make you miss perfect hits. Before they updated this game you could go to a search bar and look up any song you wanted. Now you have to play songs they give you and I’m sure they just wanted to steal money from so you can sign up for the VIP subscription.

As much as I loved this game when I first got it the more I play it the more I start to slowly dis like the game even more. When I they first changed the UI of the game I wasn’t a fan. The easy levels are not fun to play at all and I hate how it forces you to play it if you want to play the hard version it’s annoying. Just let me pay for the hard like always. Make it more expensive if you have to but like this it’s just annoying. And now for some reason when I logged on today, I’ve lost over 200 stars. Yesterday, when I logged in I had no issue and I had over 750 stars total. Today when I did it I am now down to 570. Almost every purchased song I’ve made within the past week didn’t save and I couldn’t even get the money for it at least. I still had what I had yesterday which was 3,870~ I don’t know what could have caused this “bug” to happen but it is a little infuriating. The least it could have done was given me the coin back for the songs it took my stars away from as well but I guess not.

Compared to many other music “rhythm games,” this game’s hit boxes for hitting notes is surprisingly large. The biggest example is in the song Rap God in that I could be missing the timing completely and making several errors on the notes, but the game seems to register them as being hit correctly. While it’s cool that the game accepts my error prone note hitting, it takes away the difficulty and, more or less, the satisfaction of hitting the notes correctly. One complaint I do have is that the game seems to use the rhythm based on the lyrics rather than the instrumental. It sorta defeats the purpose of the rhythm aspect. If the game had a certain instrumental over it or the people who charted the notes perhaps went into the instrumental..... Finally, the ads can get frustrating. Ads keep the game free, but too many ads just make the game unplayable.

I played this game a year ago and it just popped into my head and I wanted to play it again. I got a new phone so it started me all over. I remembered exactly how to play and everything so I wanted to log back in to my old account. I clicked log in, and it saved my new account I have now..? So I can’t save my progress.. great start. Now I have to do it all over again. Finally saved enough money to buy my song I really want to get oop- not until an ad ;-; when I played, you used to be able to tap a search bar and type the song you wanted to buy or play or whatever. Now it’s gone...? Why?? So now I have to scroll all the way down to find it?? (Spoiler: I couldn’t find it) ah, now I know why I quit :3 I mainly wrote this comment to adress the search bar. It’s a little yet essential asset for a game like this. And now you removed it for no reason :<

I’m a huge fan of the OG Tap Tap Revenge games and was happy to find this. However, the songs are plain clutter. There needs to be a search bar on the top of the favorites and on top of the home page so you can find songs. It would be even better if the home page had an option to sort the songs by title, artist, and played/unplayed. It’s literally impossible to find anything. What if the favorites page allowed for “playlists” even if we were limited to 3 or something. It would just be nice to have more organization within favorites. You could have your hardest songs in one playlist/folder, your favorites in another, etc. Also, the score system is kind of lacking. I don’t really like that you get 5 stars just by completing the song. But it seems that’s the style of this version of the game so whatever I guess...to me it makes more sense to keep the song going and your stars are based on your ratio of “perfect” taps. Coins should be able to buy more energy sparks, and successful players should be able to increase to up to 20 max energy. Or you have to purchase the higher energy cap with coins. And lastly, we should have the option to turn off or super minimize the music video and just hear the song. It can be distracting.

When actually playing the songs, the game has the fun nostalgia of guitar hero with modern music. Except you are assaulted with all kinds of limitations and ui clutter outside of play. Your song selection is extremely limited until you earn good ratings on whatever they give you unless you pay real money, and when you use the earned currency from perfecting songs, you only get once chance at whatever you unlocked. I played about 6-7 songs and got full rating on all of them, enough to unlock Shape of You. I was excited to play a song I like, and was doing great. But I didn’t realize that song only allows 1 missed note, and then it’s gone until you earn more currency. I immediately lost all interest after that. You had a good thing going here before you tried micro transactions, ads, currencies, and casino noises to everything, plus the pop ups for rating and sharing on social media. I would have told my friends about this for even a limited bout of nostalgia, but this app is no longer worth even the minor amount of marketing that would give. Reduce it to nothing but playing the songs, with all of them unlocked, and your game would be amazing even with ads.

It freezes so much after a game and I lose all my points or sometimes says I’ve missed a tap when I haven’t because it can’t keep up. I love the game to make time go by but it’s annoying to have to keep restarting the app because of all the glitches. It also needs more preprogrammed song selections or newer songs or at least make the songs priced at the level it’s at so easier songs are cheaper & harder songs are more expensive just because 399 coins for one song is a lot considering that there are so many ads in this game to begin with. I play one 30 second game and I’m stuck watching a 30 second ad and another 30 second ad if I want 50 more points. I think there should be a section to where users can choose to watch ads if they want to acquire more points it shouldn’t be a 30 second ad for coins and another 5 second ad randomly placed before you can even watch the 5 second ad & sometimes the game freezes while watching the ad. Great game but it definitely needs an update

DO NOT play the ads that gives you an option to double the 100 coins you occasionally get after finishing a song. It will only waste your time as you won’t even get the actual double amount, and you don’t even get that original 100 that is supposedly given to you, should you chose not to play the ad. There so many features that really should be there, such as a report song feature that should be there to tell the devs about any songs that might’ve bugged out such as Harujion by Yoasobi as it is now severely off beat, and I didn’t use the coins I saved up to buy broken songs. A song search feature, which I’ve seen requested many times is STILL not in the game, and at this point it’s getting tiring to have to scroll through the entire freakin list just to see if a song that I like is in the game or not. I implore the devs to really review this as many old tap tap players ends up in this game and it’s such a waste to not maintain the app better.

Look, the game is fine, but it keeps freezing when I’m playing, and I have an iphone 10 Xr!! and also when I want to play other musics in the beginning, I have to earn them!! This is not the game I want, I got this recommended, and I don’t feel like this is the game I was looking for. Please read this before playing the game, the game is not worth the time!! Please!! Please please please!! The game even told me a hard mode and when a message vibrates and comes to the screen it FREEZES AS WELL!!!!!!!!! I don’t know if it’s me or it is the game freezing every time I’m playing!!! Please I’m prove this and I don’t get how did this get 4.9 out of 5 and this is no near discord or ibisPaint X because the truth is, this game need some real improvements. I’m sorry for being impudent and showing my great wrath but it is a fact and my opinion that this needs improvement. When I was about to download this game, I see that people give this game, one 3 start review, three 2 star review, and two 1 star review, AND THIS IA JUST THE POPULAR ONE! I had just got this game because I saw it on an ad! It looked really fun, so I decided to download! Then when I opened it up, the first thing I saw was an ad, though I didn’t really mind. I then continued. I clicked on a song to play then was welcomed again with an ad. Again,, I didn’t really mind- though it said I didn’t have enough energy, and it said I had infinity energy-.. for 24 hours,, so I clicked on the ad to get more energy. It said my energy was now full,, and that I could play, but I wasn’t able to- it kept putting me on an ad, giving them a lot of money.. I exited out of the song, and wanted to see if I could play another one- all of them costed coins.. or I had to unlock them I watched ads till I had enough to get a song.. but it stopped letting me watch ads when I only needed to watch one more to unlock one- I was starting to get annoyed. They also had really inappropriate ads and I was forced to watch them till it was over. Now that’s all I’m saying- THERE WERE TOO MANY ADS, AND IT WASN’T EVEN PLAYABLE-

This game is so horrible. It expects you to finish a song 3 minutes long with only 5 HP, and sure you can watch adds but once you get to 11 HP it will ask you if you would like to watch another add for 3 HP, so you click it and watch a 30 second advertisement, and finally when it’s over you realize that not only has the game frozen but it hasn’t even given you the 14 HP you watched a ad for! I find that very annoying and want it fixed! Another problem I found is that while I play a song the game starts to glitch. The little circles start to stay in place and when it finally unfreezes I’ve lost all my HP. I play on a iPhone XR and have no other glitches in apps and games. This game has many other problems that I can’t list because I would have to go into deep detail. My boyfriend is a video game tester and when I told him showed this game he said he had never played a game this annoying and glitchy in his whole career! In conclusion I would not recommend getting this game!
