The swiping-word mechanic has been used by similar games, but never to quickly create words at a fast pace, which is the best use of it! It keeps me on my toes and has me trying to remember obscure 3 letter words.

Way different from all the other word games, cute design and tons of fun!

A fun game to kill time, it keeps me on my toes! I also love the color scheme of it– Simple Machine did a great job with this one!

Love the stylistic birds soaring over minimalistic landscapes as you mix and match letters to get words to power up your birds! Fun!

It’s challenging at first but then it gets too easy.

It’s a great game, but seems like theres too little levels. Its pretty easy too, but it’s a great time passer!

I honestly really enjoy this game and if it weren’t for glitches, I would give it a 5/5. The issue is maybe swipes arent read, which hurts your score. But I get that happens ... my biggest issue is like right now, I’m at a level and game won’t progress beyond it. This happened to me the first time after level 80. I had to delete game, play through 80 again and it let me through that time. I thought I was good so I stopped playing after level 96 one evening and now, same thing is happening :( I hate to delete it for good but it’s not moving forward!

Definitely a fun game with very fluid and simple game play. There are a couple glitches though including unresponsive swiping being a big trouble area. Sometimes the game doesn’t pick up a word swipe which hurts your score. Also, levels don’t seem to save. I often will beat a level and close the app, only to have the play the level again. I also wish that the game would tell you the 3-star time before beginning the level so you know the time to aim for. Otherwise, fun!

I love this concept. However: the faster you make words, the higher your multiplier; the control is not great to avoid mistakes making long words quickly; hence, this game rewards quick 3 and 4-letter words, which I find tedious. Maybe you won’t. I also finish with lots of time left to make the 3-star mark (often a minute to spare). The gameplay is simply unbalanced in my opinion. I reached level 50+ before making a judgment, but this game is not for me.

Word Wings is a fun time killer and it has stayed on my iPad longer than most apps. I don’t mind the ads, but sometimes it inconveniently loads in the middle of flight and 9 times out of 10 the app crashes while playing them. I also find the coins very underutilized. There’s only one skin to buy and nothing else really.

One day I opened the game and I was collecting starred letter instead of a timed race where your score was based on speed. The old individual rounds took over a minute... I dislike the change. I liked seeing the time I need to beat to earn the third star.

It’s a great game! I honestly do love it. However, I’ve played it once and I can’t seem to open the game again. It keeps crashing and I can’t play the game again unless this is fixed.

***-No way to submit bug reports or contact support ***-Button to turn off music doesn’t do anything, so music cannot be turned off -App does not even show up in iPhone settings -Sometimes gets stuck on black loading screen -No way to turn off data usage for app (app doesn’t show up in settings) -Sometimes unresponsive to swipes, causing words to be misspelled/missing letters that I already swiped over -No option to pay to remove ads The game is very fun and I want to enjoy it but there are so many issues! I feel like if these issues are fixed, I would play this game a lot. **I have to give it a low rating for the bugs but assuming all of those issues weren’t there, I’d probably give it 4 or 5 stars**
