I enjoyed it but there isn’t enough

I really enjoyed the game the simplistic gameplay was really enjoyable and the game wasn’t at any point frustrating for me to play and I liked some of the jokes like having to play against trump I found funny and the controls were responsive but I have some problems like for example after beating the game if you try and go back to challenge someone you alway get forced to play the boss of that cup instead of choosing who to play against first another problem I’ve had is that in about one afternoon the entire game can be beaten and after that there isn’t anything to stick around for if possible I hope that in the future an endless mode can be added or a multiplayer mode where you get matched up to play against random people to keep players who beat the game interested but that’s all I wanted to say I really enjoyed it and hope it continues to get support from the team thank you

    Bundle of Fun!

It had been quite a while since I had found a mobile game worth playing, let alone even writing a review for. The visual aesthetic caught my attention so I decided to try it and I must say that I am honestly not disappointed! Gameplay is straightforward and simple. The touch controls are tight and respond well never had issues with lagging. The overall concept was fun and the bonus that is included is worth keeping the game installed for more. The ads are standard, but not overbearing. I would highly suggest supporting this game by removing the ads as the gameplay just becomes even more entertaining without any distractions. Possibly in the future, ai would suggest either an expanded tournament and a few more scores to be included alongside the already catchy theme song. Thank you Orangenose team for such a great project, will be looking forward to more your your teams work in the future!

    Fun game

I’ve enjoyed playing orangenose’s Tricky Test 2 before, so I expected nothing less from them. And I was right, however I feel like they should add a bit more to the game. For example, I would like to play with my friends, so I would want a multiplayer game mode to this game. Overall, I thought this was a great game. The difficulty was fair, and the animations and the characters were good too. Sometimes however, I would end up losing 4-5, and it makes want to rage. But at the same time, watching an ad to have another chance is a very good feature. It has saved me multiple times, and I don’t know if I could’ve completed the game without it. Also, the music in the background was calming me down. To sum it all up, I thought that this game has potential, however adding more features would make the game a lot more interesting. I appreciate your time and effort reading this review!

Truly wonderful and lots of potantial

This game is a work of art with so much potential. Truly wonderful and addicting. Please make a multiplayer for it with single matches, tournaments, and challenges as well. Oh and if you think it would work, make an easy, medium, and hard Endless Mode. Easy difficulty could be hitting on one particular side of the table. Medium could be beginning to hit to different sides, and hard could be Ping Pong King difficulty. Also, with Endless Mode, the only way to end is if the PLAYER misses it or if the player exits the mode. High scores could be created in each Endless Mode difficulty as well to see how many hits you can get on it before quitting or messing up. But the art is perfect, the gifs are perfect, everything is perfect about it right now. Dont change anything about it currently. Just add these extra things. Definitely a five star game though.

    Really cool but

It would be cool if there was other things happening during a match like power ups that make ur ball go super fast and bad power ups that could be something like slowdown ur ball and like slow reflexes and the good ones and green bad one red and they like pop up randomly for 3 seconds and then they disappear also it would be cool if there were costumes for our character and for ur opponent like the second opponent that is “my grandma” could have grandma clothes or old times clothes and when you beat her you unlock her wig shirt or pants and you need to beat the same character 3 times so u could get all of their clothes and so u can make like different combos like trumps hair with school best high school jacket and grandmas pants or something but overall it’s a really good game and that’s what I wish was in the game

    An outstanding minimalist game

This is such an outstanding minimalist game that I could not get enough of. I’m a very distracted person when it comes to anything, but something about this game kept me fully immersed all the way through. I’m also a very competitive person and games like this usually make me aggravated very quickly and I don’t have a fun time playing because I’m more focused on winning. With this game, I had a smile on my face whether I won or lost. I felt very relaxed and complacent all the way through the game. It has an implacable charm that you can only understand once you play it. The ambience is very low maintenance and care free which adds to the leisurely quality of the game. I hope to see more from these developers. A very brilliant and unforgettable, yet simple game.

    Good, clean fun

Very entertaining and I thoroughly enjoy the stylistic choices made and the simplicity yet difficulty of the game. It felt very intimate in the sense that the barrier between developer and consumer was thin and it felt as if I was playing a game made by a company who cares about the player and seeks to provide an enjoyable and fun experience rather than a money hungry corporate hound where there is no clear connection between player and producer. It’s light, slapstick-esque comedic approach made it all the more entertaining beyond the gameplay itself. It’s alternative game modes are also quite a joy to play and challenge myself with offering unique approaches to the base game. I will definitely be playing some of your other games as this one kept me entertained for a good while. Thank you.

    Flawless game but...

Ok this game is great, I beat the game, and encountered two issues that want to make people quit half way. Number one is the ball going though your hand. This problem was the biggest and made me struggle though the entire game and made it sort of unfair, like when I was going against the last boss or the “Ping pong king” it make incredibly hard especially with the AI on the last boss which made me want to delete the game. The last final problem is some of the AI in the bosses even though it’s programmed very well. I know that somebody going to call me stupid because I say that the last boss is hard but it is. HARD. I swear, those to issues make it so that the game is almost impossible! But this game is a good one and I recommend you to download it!

    A Really Fun Game!!!

When I started playing I am Ping Pong King, I got hooked immediately. The simple yet addicting gameplay made every match fun and exciting. The only thing that disappointed me was the shortness of the game. I beat the game in one day and was saddened by the thought of no more new opponents to face. I really hope for a sequel to the game with opponents who all don’t look exactly alike and more tournaments. Overall if you want to play an addicting simple game, I am Ping Pong King is a game I would recommend. P.S I would really like if you added special characteristics to the characters, it got boring facing the same looking cpu every match. Also I would love a reset button to play the game over again, right now I can only play against Ping Pong King and Orange Nose.

    Simple! But...

Now, I love the simplicity and minimalistic style of this game. It makes it addicting and frustrating sometimes which is a challenge! BUT after you finish the 50 lvls/staff game what’s next? The issue is repetition becomes BORING when there is NO progression. After like 20 levels I was bored with clicking left..right..left. It was getting to the top that made me keep playing. I know they added “impossible” levels, which are fun to a point, but I don’t see someone playing this for more than a week because it is easy and repeating which becomes boring. It’s fun to play, don’t get me wrong. I loved it! I just feel like it could have more potential then a one time thing, I wouldn't recommend a game that could be finished in a day? I get that the whole point is that it’s simple, but that won’t sell a good game though. Nobody is playing tic tac toe anymore? Anyways, I recommend playing this if you’re bored out of your mind, but it won’t take you far. Adding more structure might make it more interesting, might also not be as simple anymore.

    Great game but...

Absolutely amazing game. The cartoony graphics and smooth game play gave the game a really nice feel. Game play was challenging but not too hard. I wish it was a bit longer though. I beat the whole thing in under 20 minutes. I think it would be a very fun idea to add multiplayer into it where you can compete with other players around the world to really become the ping pong king. Or a mode where you can play with your friends like having controls on both sides if the screen and your friend sits on the other side of your device and you can play live. Another thing is it would occasionally pause the game at random times and when it did so the game would immediately resume without a countdown giving the player little time to react to the next shot. This might have been me just accidentally clicking the menu button but i moved my hands to the bottom of the screen and it still happened. Other than that, very fun game and I highly recommend it!

    A good quick game

A very short game about volleying balls ping pong style. The minimalistic art style works very well with the smooth animation and with also the intuitive but simple controls. There are some visual bugs here and there but nothing game breaking. The biggest downside in this game is that it’s too short; adding more levels or an arcade/unlimited mode or have extended matches in sets (true to the ping pong sport) will help it more. Also, I would like to have an option to remove the “hit L” and “hit R” buttons during matches since you can tap anywhere in the screen to react to the ball and they sometimes distract me; I believe this option stays true to the minimalistic style the game is aiming for. Overall, it’s a good time waster if you want a quick but simple game but it’s way too “quick” since the game is too short.

Main game is good, but mini games are trash.

My my iPhone 6s might be slowing down, so this might not be a problem, but with the concentration test, the ball goes so fast that you have to tap when he’s hitting the ball, so when the ball slows down, you can’t react in time and you will hit early, and if you tap again, you will hit late, so you can’t recover (sometimes you can, but not all the time). With the eyesight test, you have to replay levels you already beat, and there is a long pause between each level, so it’s a huge waste of time. This can easily be fixed by having the table shrink while you are playing and be scored in decimal size of the board instead of levels (rounded integers). Also each level is 3-7 hits (maybe longer or shorter, but these are the numbers I’ve counted), so if I can beat a level with 3 hits, why would I have to prove that I can see that well with 7 hits on the next one? Also this means that you can spend a long time on a play, and get the same score as when you spent a short amount of time. The reverse test doesn’t have any issues. The only thing is, when you cut it close, it looks like the ball is going through your paddle. Maybe I just don’t cut it close in other modes because it is easier to react faster in them.

Not as good as stars imply

The star ratings are a bit misleading, because the developers have an os popup that says “Rate us 5 stars” in bold with the alternative being a non-bolded No. So with it being an os alert it’s instinctive to just go ahead and hit the bold text rather than the no. There’s no alternative to simply rate the game with what you think it deserves. You have to go to the app store specifically to do that. The alert pops up now and then and if you think the game is okay it’s easy to give 5 stars just to make it go away. I’m sure a lot of apps do this, but it does lead to unrealistic ratings. As for the game itself, it is fun but also annoying. Because you need to use ping pong timing, which is great, but at the same time you’re engaging that part of your brain, you also have to repress the urge to tap the button for the direction you want to HIT the ball, as you would do in a real game, and instead tap the button for the square in which the incoming ball is LANDING. These are frequently opposite, ie, the ball is landing in the square on the right, but you want to hit it back to the left, so if you don’t successfully repress that urge quickly enough, you lose that point. This cognitive dissonance is really the only thing that makes the game challenging. That being said, it is still a fun game.
