This game is really fun despite some of the words being things that most people wouldn't know unless you googled it. However, the "game board" aspect of it is stupid, especially when I don't get any boards back for someone resigning or for a game ending. I thought my starter 10 boards meant I could only have 10 games in progress at a time, but nope. 10 games ever, unless you watch ads or pay for more. The stats are useless as well. I had multiple games end because my opponents never played, except ALL of the games claimed that I forfeited, and I lost points for it. After a game ends, it tells you your stats and how many points you lost for losing, however even though the number displayed at the end of the game isn't 1500, when I try to look at my stats/the leaderboard, it shows that my score is 1500. It has never changed. The game is fun and I think that is what's important and that's why I gave it 4 stars and not lower. I don't necessarily care about the stats but I just found it frustrating and it should be fixed regardless.

I love the game but I hate that the game boards don’t regenerate. Most games I play have some sort of ad option to play more but they also will rebuild “lives” or “energy” etc (in this case “game boards” over time up to a limit. It would be nice if over time my game boards could replenish. For example, every 10 min you get 1 game board with a cap of 10 game boards in stock at one time (unless you choose to buy more obviously) It’s not a hard concept and most games incorporate something like that. I really love the game and have watched ads a couple time to get game boards but honestly it’s annoying to do so and I will probably get tired of having to watch an ad for each game I want to play forever. I understand ads are how app developers generate revenue but there are already ads between turns, I’m not going to choose to watch ads too. If the game doesn’t change then I’ll probably stop playing and that’s too bad bc I like the game. I’ve won 15 out of 16 of the games I’ve played.

I really like this game because it allows you to think without getting frustrated but I just wish I could continue to play. Limiting me to only 3 boards in a 24hr period is one way to get me to move on to other apps that I can play whenever I want. Just a thought for the developers, if you want me to play your game then allow me to obtain boards by watching an ad, otherwise I’m just going to move on and forget about your game. Update: I really do like this game but I’m having a problem....the screen goes completely grey even though my letters are still visible at bottom of screen which makes me have to get a new board and start a new game. So now I have three games in limbo waiting for each game to resume. Help! There should also be a time limit when playing against a real person.....they don’t respond when it’s their turn and the game is idle and you can’t do anything but wait, and wait, and wait.....so set a time limit for the player to return or they forfeit the game

The game board system is awful. I love this game so much but unless you’re dropping a serious amount of money on this game you can’t do much. You don’t get enough coins per game to buy a board (you have to win 10 games to buy ONE board) and you’re only able to watch 3 ads per 24 hours, why not an unlimited amount? Let people enjoy the game. I’d gladly watch 20 ads for 20 boards because I go through an entire game in about 45 minutes to an hour (sometimes) but I have to decline challenges from friends because I can go through like 15 boards a day but I know that’s how they’re making their money. I wish there was like a reward system that if you came on everyday for like 7 days you get 20 boards and each day you go on you get 3-5 extra boards! That’d be so nice and make it so much more fun to be able to play more games with people. I hate it so much that I can’t keep playing a game I really like because I don’t have the money :(

I’ve had on and off feelings with Kryss. I had downloaded it from last year 2020. There was still the same problem of only getting 3 game boards, and they didn’t have the option where you could watch an add to get any. That didn’t really bother me, because you could have a match with Mr. or Mrs. Kryss, and as long as I was playing I was happy. Then they made an update where you could have a fast match, which was pretty interesting. What really turned me off was that they took away the option of having free matches with Mr. or Mrs. Kryss. Each time I had a round with them, I used a game board. That caused me to delete the game. Now I downloaded it again today, and I must say they’ve made some nice changes. For one, I can play with the computer as many times as I want without using the game boards. I’ve read the other reviews complaining about the coins, but I haven’t seen a downfall yet. But I’ll keep you posted.

I love this game and it’s clear how much work went into creating it. It is so original, captivating, and challenging. However, the game board aspect of the game pretty much ruins it for me. Even with the new update where you can earn coins to get game boards, you can never earn enough game boards to not be annoyed by the lack of game boards. I run out every day. One game board costs way too many coins when you only earn ten coins for winning (and don’t earn extra coins for playing on expert) and you can only play three games a day, four if you have enough coins saved up. It would take an astronomical number of games to be able to afford ten game boards with coins when you can only earn 30-40 coins a day if you win all games. It’s not a good system and taints an otherwise fantastic game. You should definitely be able to watch more than three ads to earn game boards in a 24 hour period, and it would be great if you had three game boards that regenerate automatically over maybe an eight or twelve hour period. Other games offer similar rewards to game boards for completing tasks such as browsing a website, downloading an app, or watching a longer video, maybe you could do something like that? Please fix the game board issue! We’re gettin weary out here!

I actually really really love this game; however, it’s been locking up lately and the only way I can get it to work again is to close the app completely and then open it from the start again. It’s a work around but it’s very very annoying. Also, I think that the freebie boards should be more often/more than 3/day. If not, the price of the boards should be a little more generous. It’s easy to fly through those (after all it can be a very quick game...over in just a few minutes if both parties are playing). I also realized after starting that whether you send a game request or receive one, you get charged a board. That doesn’t make sense to me. It should be if you initiate the game you get charged, but if your opponent initiates, they get charged. As I said the games don’t usually last that long and you blow through them quickly. When I choose a game to play, I focus on that game. After I spend my budget, I fill in with other games, but often I lose focus on that game and focus on others if I feel there is more value. I love your game so please please give the players more value for playing it!

From a developer: First off for those wondering why we need to pay for game boards: the reason is because they hand created each game board, therefore it takes more time and energy to create them. Whereas on the other hand, if they used an algorithm to create the game board uniquely each time (which is possible) then you could have infinite game boards. It would be a very hard tasks which they are probably tackling right now, and theyre selling the hand made game boards to substitute until then. Now the biggest problem, this game has a few bugs which do hinder gameplay. The game itself is really fun, challenging, engaging, and more. But when the bugs occur it makes you want to not play or even delete it, which is what I just did. On multiple occasions the other player wouldnt complete their turn or the game would glitch and they would be UNABLE to complete their turn. Because of this I would completely lose one of my game boards, forever. The stats they offer are cool but dont work completely. Id like to redownload this game again in the future but for now im done.

Love this game!! It’s tons of fun when your bored, and challenging enough to keep you interested without being so difficult that you just give up on it!! Player turns are times so your not having to wait for forever on your opponent to make their moves or cheat by looking up the answers!! My only complaint is the cost of the subscriptions/game boards to play the game!! Why not just charge one flat rate to buy the game app and then use it unlimited number of times after purchase?? I refuse to pay for every single game board I play in this or any game app for that matter!! I understand making a profit from your creation of the game but I do not understand, agree with, or support you trying to get rich off this one game app!! So, my advice to other app users, don’t purchase either one of the options they currently have available ((subscriptions/per game board)), just go watch the three videos a day and only play off those free boards you get from watching the videos and that’s it!! That’s what I do and honestly I wouldn’t mind purchasing this game app if it were a one time fee type deal but since that isn’t an option I refuse to pay the developers any money to play this game!!

Game is pretty fun and challenging HOWEVE, I am playing against My opponent and on my side, its saying its their turn and on their side, it saying its my turn. This has happened to me before and resulted in a “resign” on my end. This is now the second time its happening with a completely different opponent. This time I have uninstalled the app completely from my phone, and reInstalled it (after seeing the first time it was clearly a glitch on my end because it ended up in a resignation for me) but that still did not correct the problem. What can we do to fix this, its messing up my stats/scores and i actually pay for these boards regularly and pay extra to be premium. Also, letters sometimes get stuck in the middle of the board while trying to place it in an empty spot, and when u try to drag it from where its stuck at, it doesn't move. Even closing the app and restarting it, does NOT correct the issue! Sometimes the money that I’ve spent seems like a waste when ur Im continuously having issues beyomy control! If it wasn’t for that, this app would be 5 star....BUT DONT PAY FOR BOARDS LIKE I DID

This game does have its moments. It will have you cursing, swearing and chewing your nails. First off, verb tenses and noun/pronoun plurals are often wrong. There are other grammatical errors here and there, but the game itself is fun, if you can afford the boards without having to wait for an ad to acquire them. They just recently had a price increase which I feel is near to gouging. The “quick” games are somewhat out of kilter as, most often, your opponent will always play first giving them the edge on the blue spaces for lots of extra points. This being said, the game itself is quite entertaining and challenging. I have invested in purchasing boards on several occasions, but due to the sharp increase in their prices, I will no longer continue to play once this purchase is depleted. Just can’t afford the extra cost. Also, new players BEWARE! As in any app game, there are sharks out there who have played this game for a long enough time that they know exactly how to win by holding strategic tiles until the end. Most recently, a new bug. Developers have now made it impossible to resign from a “quick” game! Even though you resign the game and remove the board, the game will keep returning until it is finished, and of course, you lose.

Great game but once you become a paying customer on a game I expect them to give you what they advertised! The end of the obnoxious ads! Nothing worse than to continue to have to constantly jostle around the ads to get back to your turn and play! I loved the fact that you could buy as you go and not be under a monthly debit too! The first purchase was great, lots of boards, and NO ADS! So I had no problem purchasing my second premium package when I was getting close to running out of boards! After purchase I saw my boards had been added but as soon as I started playing Every turn was interrupted by an AD! I quickly shot off an email to which I received a response that said they would look into. A few days have rolled by and I STILL HAVE THE ADS! Look into it and fix it! What’s the hang up? I sent another email. I’m still dealing with ads and now I’m beginning to just sour on the game. It’s not about the price. That’s completely fair IF YOU TAKE THE ADS AWAY. I have kept my end up by continuing to pay to play. But I don’t have the patience to deal with the frustration of the ads when I already paid to remove them and enjoy the game as it is meant to be played.

1. once you run out of boards you either have to pay for more or watch a video and only get one board...which doesn’t make any sense. 2. (i’ve been playing for about a day and a half)I started playing the quick play mode (which says they match you with someone who is at the same lvl or has the same experience)and it is SOO hard to actually win. i’m pretty sure they aren’t actually pairing me with someone who has the same skill lvl as me. 3. i could be overreacting, but it kind of feels like they pick and choose when they want you to win. i say this because i have played a couple of games against mr. and mrs. kryss (which are bots) and as the boards started to fill up i was able to figure out what several different words were. so i started to get excited thinking i would win(because i was also in the lead). but then the words that were easy to decipher like “ _ison” which is bison or “_l_ectr_ic__y” which is electricity, my opponent would get, while i would get the letters of the words that haven’t been a established yet, then they would win. but maybe i am overreacting...idk. use this information in anyway you see helpful.

I downloaded this and played for a bit and really enjoyed it. Then found out the game boards are limited and push for pay to play. And it’s not even paying a one time fee for the game to be playable. It’s a monthly charge. The alternative to paying is linking a FB account to get a few extra game boards. Linked my account and got zero game boards. The button to link your account changed to getting 10 game boards for inviting friends from FB. Not sure why you think I’d torture friends with invites if you aren’t going to pay out the game boards. The worst part is trying to report this error in the feedback section, only to have it loop you back to the app when you follow the instructions to contact them. Now it looks like I only get to play three games every 24 hours, IF I watch the available videos. While I do enjoy the game, I won’t be paying a recurring fee to play. Between the ads after every turn, the ads/videos you have to watch, and the broken FB rewards, this game is broken and unplayable. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just as broken after paying for it too, but I’ll not be testing that theory.
