I’ve been buying and playing games from Blue Ox ever since they started making games and I am always satisfied with the quality of their games. Woven Words is another example of how good games can be. It helps that words games are my favorite type of games I guess. But there are so many bad ones lurking about the App Store that I’m usually disappointed in them. Never has that happened with any games from Blue Ox. I’ll keep it simple. If you enjoy word games that are quality, replayable games then get this or any of the games they make.

... I find the keyboard layout really difficult to use. My brain wants it to be a normal (QWERTY, or whatever) layout, and I find it very frustrating having to hunt and peck for each letter. Now that you have fixed the bouncy keyboard, please can we have the option of making it a normal keyboard layout? That’s the only thing preventing me from buying all of the puzzle sets. I simply cannot handle this ABC...XYZ layout. [Latest version has QWERTY: Thank you!]

I have tried several crossword puzzles in the past, but this one tops them all. I like that, with the all access pass, you can get unlimited hint letters, if needed. Also, the developer has gone above and beyond to make this crossword puzzle completely accessible to voiceover users. Thanks for a great game. Loving it.

UPDATE: The sliding keyboard has been fixed. Thank you! Raising my rating from 3 to 5. Fun word game. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I like the basic idea of the game, but the way the keyboard slides up and down is distracting and annoying. Why can’t it just stay on the screen? I hope this will be changed in a future version.

Fun game! It’s a different challenge to find the missing letters instead of scrambling letters to make words. I enjoy the free daily puzzle in several of your games and hope you will consider adding this feature to Woven Words too.

Blue Ox has done it again. I can’t say enough about the Blue Ox puzzle team. This is another grand slam home run. I can’t resist playing their delightful and challenging puzzles, and this app is no exception. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep buying, playing and enjoying!!!

I found this to be both a challenging and fun word game. I played it everyday. When I completed all the puzzles, I did the reset but could find no way to erase all puzzles at once, so I just erased the first package and replayed those. Now none of them will reset, so I haven’t been able to use my purchase anymore. Can anyone help?

I really like this new game. The only thing I don’t like is when you click on squares to add a letter, the puzzle moves up to make room for the keyboard to pop up at the bottom of the screen. This movement can be nauseating to people who get motion sickness very easily (like me) and it definitely makes me nauseous :( I hope they can come up with a way to fix that because I really like the game!

I LOVE this new type of word game. It is pretty challenging and I am only at the beginning. Four stars only because there is no explanation of scoring. What are the "hints" costing me? Can I EARN new puzzle packs? Or will I only be able to pay for them. I need incentives to truly enjoy a game. Other than that, I haven't been challenged in quite a while in any word game, it's really fun to play.

I love this game. 😃 It’s the first truly unique word game that I’ve seen in a few years! Most word games are just variations on the same couple of games. This one’s different...kind of like Sudoku with words. I would have given it 5 stars, except that you only get about a dozen or two games for free, then you have to purchase the rest. 😕

Evidently you have to use the “reveal a letter” in order to solve the puzzles, on the last five puzzles I have experienced this. I have chose the exact letter to complete a word but it will show incorrect. But if you choose reveal a letter then go back and put the same letter you put in 3-4 times then it will show correct!! I like the layout of this game and downloaded after deleting three other word games in hopes that the reviews were a good indicator that it might be better. Sad to say that it is just like all the other word games out there.

I really LOVE this game, however the fact that there is no way to play on at all without paying makes me sad. I understand there should always be a way for the creator to make money but there should at least be an option for us patient few to be able to earn or unlock games without buying in. Maybe at very least a game of the day....

It has potential, but you only get 12 puzzles, the beginner pack. Everything else is $.99 for 12 puzzles. I honestly don’t know how it got a 4.7 rating. I’m deleting the app because I finished the ONE free level. Apps like this need to make it clear you need to pay to get any real use out of it. There are some flaws in game play, too. If you’re uncertain of a letter, it doesn’t let you stay on that space until you’re sure it’s correct. You have to tap that space every time you want to try a letter - whether it’s the last correct letter or if there are 10 free spaces.

This is a great game. I was hesitant to buy more games because there was a mistake in one of the free games, but I like this type of game and bought all of the games. I just found another error.....this one had the word bazaar and the last letter “r” was alone. I kept playing trying to find a solution with either an “a” or “i” as the last letter (the only single letter words). I finally used a clue to solve. Sorry....but when you charge money to play, you need to have error-free puzzles. Maybe this should be a free game.....please refund my purchase price!
