    Tons of fun!!

This is a great game with really addictive gameplay. Easy to pick up and play with simple game mechanics, but requires just enough strategy to make you wanting to come back time and again. My favorite part is that the developer has managed to create a free to play game that does not frustrate the player with constant ads or time gates. In fact, I am currently on the third world and have yet to view an ad that was not entirely optional. Purchases are simply for gems that will help level the player up faster or get better equipment, but again is not at all necessary. It almost feels like the game was made to be truly free. Kudos to the dev for making one of my favorite mobile games to date.

    Great Free-to-Play Game

That’s right. Free. You don’t need to pay anything to progress. No needless waiting to dodge by paying $1.99, no feeling trapped by needing to pay to truly progress. Simple gameplay coupled with a great sense of progression leaves an addictive game with beautiful pixel art and good music. As someone suggested previously, I would love to see some form of cooperative gameplay with a small head-to-head feature. Nothing that would make the game necessary to play online, but some little addition to help spread the game across the mobile platform a bit more. Either way, amazing game - props to the developers! Wish you guys luck with future games!

Amazing Game But Could Use More Skill

This is extremely fun and i’ve only been playing it for about 3 days, the game isn’t extremely hard or extremely easy, but... There is no aspect of skill, so basically its based on luck other than choosing armor, spell books, staffs, and hats, so if you could add more things that have to do with a skill aspect that would be amazing, don’t get me wrong, its an awesome game, just should require more skill. Ty.

Nothing I Don't Like About It

For me, this game ticks all the right boxes, it's like an RPG mixed with gambling, a teensy bit of RogueLike, and it's great. It's really fun to experiment with different item combos or trying to collect a full set. The gameplay is extremely satisfying and rewarding. The retro style is pulled off great. Even when I failed, even though I would get set back pretty far, it would still feel pretty fair. This is definitely a fantastic hidden gem.

    Nice Game!

Very interesting to play! Addictive! And totally nonthreatening-many games like this, the player improves his avatars as much as possible, only to discover that real money is required to go further in the game. Dice Mage 2 has been totally free to play thus far-though it is such a smooth operating game, I will no doubt be making small IAPs soon. When I need to relax a moment with a game- Dice Mage 2 works for me. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am!

    fantastic!

this game is absolutely amazing. from the battle system to the art style, it hooks you from beginning. BUT, do not play this game if you arent into chance based battles. this game is called DICE mage for a reason.. the gem system is fantastic for getting new loot. if you conserve your gems you can roll for the best loot every time. also the ad system works perfectly! amazing game that everyone should play!!

    Fun, Free, and Balenced

The game is so easy to learn and get the hang of, the gameplay is quick and energetic with all the animations. The use of ads in this game is perfect, only if you want to have a second chance at beating a difficult foe. I also feel the rate of progression and loot items are very reasonable and you engaged to want more and you know you can get more.

    More rpg please

Now I know the game is so fuuuuuuuuuun but it needs to have more like rpg in it because having to pay for another deck of dice just makes me feel like there’s a better way or something that would be great also the game I played for hours but the bosses are so hard but good so I think all you need is more choices in the game please not to mean okay and how do you pronounce mage so yah that is a good game also goodbye

    Great game but...

I really enjoy everything about this game...the concept, strategy, pace. Even the rate at which you get items / gems is good for a ftp game. HOWEVER, there is one thing I can't stand. In boss battles after about 5-6 turns of not getting hit, the boss starts rolling max on their dice (i.e. 6 on a d6, 10 on a d10, etc) EVERY roll until they manage to hit you. I can still usually win a few rolls by having higher tier dice and good equipment, but this balancing mechanic is just frustrating and waaay to blatant. And it's definitely not a case of "RNG gets you sometimes lol" because it consistently happens at every boss, and consistently happens over and over until I lose a roll at which point it resets. Would be a 5 star game otherwise.

Great premium system, fun gameplay, too many white flashes,

The premium currency, gems, are handed out to the player as a part of the gameplay cycle and are easily earned over time. The loot crates can feel very unfair at times and are easily the biggest gem sink in the game. The spells can be reiterated to move double damage to nat 20's, but otherwise need small number adjustments. The health restore that can happen after fights are not calculated correctly as opposed to shop restores. Much more detail needs to be included about spells and monster types like their values and spell books for each monster. There are white flashes that occur upon every single game event which can be every second is extremely nauseating and headache inducing over time. They really have no purpose. Edit: Don't ever reroll for loot crates, it is just not worth it. Edit 2: The health after battles seem to be very small boosts that still don't scale correctly with total health. Edit 3: I'm going to uninstall until the white flashes are removed.

    Okay game but very annoying

The dice is rigged. I can understand game should have some advantages but this game cheats to the point of obnoxiously annoying. As a player, I Often getting 1, 2, and 3 on d10 and d20 dice. Not just that. Monsters seem to have 50% chance of rolling a high number on a dice. The higher level you go, the more odds are against you. I have came across monsters rolled 4 pairs of 6s in a roll!! I equipped an item that allows me to roll 2 or higher on d6. Guess what? I am rolling more 2s than anything else!!! I read some 5 stars reviews. Many of them are fake. One wrote, this is how a dice game should be. Are you kidding me?! It is the same as the first Dice Mage. The odds are completely against the player. If you don’t mind keep losing to 5 or 6 while you rolled 2 d10s or even 2 d20s, it is a okay game. As for me, this is not fun at all. DELETE....

Cool at first but too greedy

It becomes too hard to progress without watching lots of adds or spending lots of money. I did both. It also feels like the randomness isn't always random if you get my drift. Aka if I roll the number I want I get a reward, if I don't I watch an ad after watching about 100x 30 second ads I decided this game was a waste of my time and money. Poor graphics but silly cool little dancing guy when. You win. Game play was interesting but. Not clearly explained what spells do what and what stats you keep and lose when you restart. I like numbers games but this became more about watching ads or paying money. Got to love paying 1.99 for 64 gems to get additional rolls for an item and just rolling crisp roll one after another till gems are gone and still don't have item. So you watch a commercial and get 4 more gems for 30 seconds of your life you will never get back. 30 ads later still rolling crap but developer is making a mint ... DELETE! Sorry developer, I don't like giving negative feedback.

They realized they could make money

They finally realized that they could make money off of this game so they took advantage of that, just like I expected when I got this game. I knew I would be here typing a 1 star review because they decided to rig something and make you spend money. That's exactly what they did. The first time I went into one of those chance islands I thought, "*sigh* this is clearly going to be rigged and it'll say 'spend currency to keep going' whenever I fail." Yep. I had 50 rubies and I rolled 4 and 8 and then x5 3 and 8. Don't get this game unless you want to give them money and encourage them to make more rigged features.
