    Perfect

I play this game everyday and I just love naval warfare games but this one takes the cake. It’s fun to play alone without a fleet but it gets WAY better when you have a fleet that communicates on a voice chat on discord so y’all could strategize against the enemy team. I saw a review talking about a battleship player fighting a destroyer and how he unleashed a full salvo from his main guns to a destroyer but here’s the tip when you do that.....USE HIGH EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS armor piercing shells from a battleship will over penetrate the Destroyers Armour and not do much damage but HE allows you do no WAY more damage. So here’s an edit, I’ve played around 4.6 thousand games and I take myself as an experienced player I own 114 ships and to be honest this is the only game I would spend money on. Not saying you have to but you can, lots of people say it’s pay to win and all that but let’s be honest I’ve seen lots of tech tree ships beat premium ships in a straight brawl it’s really amazing to watch. If you play on the NA server and you need help with a ship or just need tips you can add my account and I’ll help you out my IGN is Big_Boi with the fleet tag HRAD. I look forward to helping and seeing you out on the sea! Good luck commander!

    Fun game

Fun game, very heavy on the data required to install it though- you’d better have unlimited WiFi before you worry about getting it downloaded. Another thing, all of the battles involve some kind of base capture, be it capture the flag or control the neutral zones. I really wish there was a regular Team Death Match mode, and that in the Random Battles, you could actually pick which mode you want to play. The Campaign has an interesting and I feel unnecessary quirk in the third mission: you must have a Tier 4-5 Cruiser to play it. Okay, but those are expensive to get when you’re saving up for a Tier 5-6 in whatever other class you want to specialize in- like Battleships for me. Skill is a factor even when your opponent has spent through the nose to buy their ship, and the maps enable Destroyers to have a good chance against Battleships, so in terms of fairness, usually it’s well balanced. The community on the World chat can be toxic though so do watch for that. Furthermore name changes are WAAAY too expensive- choose your nickname very carefully! Sorry for having written a book about it but this is most of what I see concerning the gameplay and such. 😅😂

    Amazing game

So I’m only to talk about the flaws but for people who just look for flaws, these are not major they are just things I would change. All in all this is a amazing game with a incredible development team. So first I would make the rounds last at least a minute longer. Second, make the maps a little bit more open, and third, some ships have main guns, secondaries, and torpedoes. For example the Kirov has the 9 180mm guns, 6 533mm torpedoes, and also has 6 100mm guns. However the only times that the 100mm shoot is against aircraft. I wish that the auto searching secondaries were not just on the premium ships that have different caliber secondaries. They should be on most of the ships that were built like that but the minimum caliber that should be done to that should only be like 76mm-152mm. These are my only problems with this game, and as stated before they are not major. The game is still my favorite mobile game and with further development, it should continue to get better and better I however would like a response, although now that I have been playing more and more cruisers, the Islands do help in terms of cover

    Great Game, One Problem

I love this game. Been playing for a while now. Great graphics for a mobile game, feels very realistic. Except for one thing. Torpedoes. Torpedoes are extremely overpowered in this game. When fired from a destroyer, you can see exactly what path they will take. Because of that, it is a lot easier to hit ships than it should be. Another big problem with them is: even when a torpedo misses, if it is a miss under 30-40 ft, it counts as hitting. Which is ridiculous. That keeps skilled players from “threading the needle” and going between torpedoes, because they’ll be counted as “close enough” and do damage. For the first problem, I would suggest either shortening the aiming cone considerably so that you have to time the enemy, or decreasing the accuracy of torpedoes by giving them a potential to turn slightly, and as you upgrade them on your ship, that turning degree will slowly decrease to be less of a factor in your aiming. For the second problem, I have one suggestion that I believe everyone who plays this game would love. Torpedoes should only do damage if they actually hit the ship. Not if they’re “close enough” to count. In real naval warfare, close doesn’t count. Make that aspect more realistic. Thanks for your time, and pease take my ideas into account to balance the destroyers/cruisers in the game to be more realistic. I understand it’s a mobile game, but these suggestions will not tax devices any further than the game already does. Thanks again.

    Details/realisticness.

I love this game but the sinking is fast and make it so you can play as the squadrons bomb/torpedo/ fighter but you can ad little joystick on the side so you can control and to select a squadron you tap something on the bottom. and make the squadrons bigger and the torpedoe explosions are small and you can not play as a submarine other Wise I love this game keep going. 👍🏼 all I’m asking for is to make it a little more game realistic and if you ad submarines to the game you can put arrows on the side and make pigs/smart torpedos so you have to hit something on the ship to lock on by. If you fix this I will five star. Two more things make the fire more realistic. And make the air craft takedown/ crash more realistic. Sorry for the long review but it will definitely make the game much better. Bye sorry but add more people bye. Make the plane crash more realistic make the shells hit the water more realistic make rams do damage and ammunition explosions. Make it so you can destroy parts of the ship and when you sink a ship it makes a big explosion. And ad holes to the ship if a ap shell penetrates. Make it so he shells explode on impact. And make it so the torpedos can go for as long as you what if not increase as long it go’s and what way is enterprise or Yorktown not in the game.

Absolutely awesome! Only one problem I have, and it’s not gameplay.

I absolutely love this game, I cannot get myself away from it. The gameplay is awesome and easily learned, the concept is really simple. The only problem I have is that they skip over many important historic ships that would be iconic, particularly around the UK tech tree. Incase the creators didn’t know, British naval power pioneered in Dreadnoughts/fast battleships, carriers, and destroyers. Also, the US navy played a major part in Naval history, and I think the least the creators could do with this game is put important ships of US history (YORKTOWN CLASS, USS ENTERPRISE, USS WASP, BATTLESHIP) at least as a premium ship. To continue with this, you know how Scharnhorst and Tirpitz are the premiums of their sisters? Wouldn’t it be great to do the same thing with US battleship Alabama as a ship capable of being reached without money? It’s sisters included South Dakota (Class leader), Indiana, and Massachusetts, any of which I would be happy with (I would prefer South Dakota, because the premium ships need to be better, South Dakota has four less secondary turrets). Overall, I am very happy with the game, I just wish it were considered that other historic ships that played major roles were included in the gameplay and tech trees.

    Games Too Short

I love this game, it has advanced rapidly since it started, a very good mobile adaptation of its older sibling. However, the games go by way too fast. More often than not I’ll be in the middle of a firefight and both teams still have 3-4 people left but the game times out. The games are too short to really even think strategically, which is a big part of PC WoWs, having to plan and choose your battles. Here though, if you don’t rush straight into the conflict, you may not even be able to partake in the fight. The other thing is the blueprints. They’re something that no other game has, and while trying new things is always good, I’m not in favor of the blueprints. It limits upgrading your ships to sheer luck, something other Wargaming games have not done, instead you usually choose the weapons and upgrades that best suit your fighting style. I’ve had the same ship for over a month but can’t max it out simply because I’m missing a few AA blueprints. On that same topic, the XP gain is much lower than any other wargaming game, just getting to tier V can be difficult as each battle only awards you around 200 XP. Other than those things, this game is wonderful and I still highly recommend it.

    Blueprints

If you have ever look at the reviews of world of tanks then you know i have a bone to pick with wargameing but never mind world of warships! All the problems with world of tanks but now with 70% less content ( ships) and a new blueprint " thing " that is completely random so now wargameing can laugh in your face as it's completely random But don't forget you can buy them nice going wargameing nice it is not a new "experiment" no it's to get money it's too give a bunch when they start and then make them extremely hard to get when they are invested it's stupid it's bad change it also ship slots or port slots or what ever how many ships you can have it cost gold ( YeS gOlD ) to get more speaking of which gold it's funny how hard it is to get gold and it's funny how much you can use gold for and don't you dare start saying " you don't need it it's optional " no it's not it *required* to get more ship slots to have fun because I always *always* keep the fastest tank/ship in my port or garage that's taking up my vary vary vary vary vary vary vary limited slots to keep ships Overall? Mah more slots to get ships take the blueprints out and make the same system from world of tanks its just better and ( I know you won't do this but who cares ) make gold easier to found or get that dose NOT include paying REAL money but who cares about me? I'm just a wallet to you if you could do that then this could be a really good wargame

    Good Game with issues

Pretty fun game at the lower tiers, but at higher tiers problems become more evident. Firstly, and my biggest request is to make matches longer. On PC matches are 20 minutes and that is staggering when compared to the 7 minutes wows blitz has. I’d recommend increasing the time of a match to about 10-12 minutes, as i think that would allow a team that is winning on ships but not caps to make a comeback, now if you get 2-3 caps at the start of the game and play relatively bad then you still win which to me doesn’t make much sense. Also I feel that this game doesn’t have the amount of players on each team it needs. If you get placed in the middle of the map and everyone goes around the flanks then you are alone and will likely be killed very quickly. I would also like if you could customize the controls (like on wot blitz) I often can’t really see much on the mini map and wish I could make it larger but I cannot. Just receiving my first t10, I have discovered the shimakaze, and frankly I think it’s overpowered. For being able to sink a BB in one go it still doesn’t really lack in any other department other than firepower with its guns. I think lowering the health and maneuverability would be a good change to the shimakaze so t10 is less toxic

    Please fix Torpedo’s

I only give the 3 stars, because of issues with the torpedo’s. On numerous occasions I have lined the enemy warship and fired only to watch my torpedo’s go through the enemy, or see the enemy due a 90 degree turn and evade them. This has happened when up close to them. I have also had the torpedo’s hit me when I steered my ship through the gap between them. So there was no way they could hit me but they blew up next to me and seriously damaged my ship and on other occasions killed me. On other occasions a torpedo will get near the stern of my ship and not even be close but explode anyways and once again damage my ship. This game is a lot of fun to play, but if they could fix issues it would be even more fun to play. Aiming is another problem that is inconsistent you can have the enemy lined up perfectly, the same way that they show you how in the tutorial and when you fire who knows where your shots are going to land. On numerous occasions also it like firing dud rounds. You fire your guns and watch the rounds go directly into the water and not even be close to the enemy ship. This is while you have the enemy sighted in and they are stationary too. Gets very frustrating. So I hope they fix these issues as this game has so much potential to be unbelievable awesome.

Fix those torpedoes and lengthen the game times

This is an enjoyable game with a fairly comprehensive yet simple tier based growth system. Most of the in game functionality is up to par as well however there are some glaring deficiencies. While 6 minutes may seem like an adequate amount of time in which to complete an online mobile multiplayer game, I believe that the game would be far more enjoyable and dynamic if it was extended to at least 7 minutes. I believe this to be the case because most of the ships in the game cannot traverse the length of the map very quickly at all, which means that you can very easily find yourself playing catch up in the back end of a game fairly often. Another major annoyance and demerit of the game is the ridiculously oversized torpedo hitboxes. You can be almost half a ship’s length ahead of a torpedo and it still somehow manages to detonate and damage your ship. This means that it is next to impossible to “thread the needle” and it means that you are constantly getting hit by torpedoes that are not shown to actually make contact with your ship in the game. I would give the game an additional star for each respective issue being addressed but if I had to choose one over the other. I’d definitely say it would be the torpedo hitboxes.

    War gaming fan for years

I've been a wargaming fan and player for about a decade. I came over with some of my friends from EVE online to try this new thing called World of Tanks. Love it. And loved Warplanes/Ships. I was excited about the mobile versions because I travel for work and could play on the road even in my truck. I've had a chance to go back to the PC versions and am saddened that Warplanes has been neglected. As I'm a passive player I have spent hundreds of dollars with this company. Can wargaming please answer the question why warplanes has been neglected? I'll bet if you launched it on mobile to fill the void of Warbirds you will find a ready base of income that could fund attention back to PC warplanes. Also it would be cool if we "as customers" could link our paid accounts across all the products. You guys did excellent work building this business building a base and income revenue. You could keep it growing with some nods to airplanes.... look at the base of players from Warbirds that are playing on Chinese servers.... Y'all build a great base. Is it dead? Are you just going to ride out what is left? Or will you invest back and make another generation love and PAY to keep your games alive. Rant over. Luck and respect WG you did good for gaming and your families. o7

    The compatibility is broken.

I played this game a while back, and while I didn’t really get that high on the tech tree, I found that it was a very fun game and there were a lot of different strategies depending on which ship class you chose. Torpedoes were broken though, if all three hit an enemy ship it deals like half their health, but half the time I would get a direct hit and no damage would be dealt. I eventually stopped playing this game when I downloaded an update and was told “you do not have enough storage to download this update” when I had 6gb remaining. I eventually deleted it because it was taking up space and I couldn’t use it. I re downloaded it today, the App Store said this app was compatible, but when I open the game it pops up a window that says “your device is not compatible” and I’m like “huh? I’m confused.” The game requires IOS 9.0 or later, and I have version 12.4.6 (latest version) so this is very confusing. You are telling me that I have to buy a new iPad every 5 years just to play this game?? I can’t afford to do that (well I can, but just to play this one game seems unreasonable). Why am I not compatible?? Devs, if you are reading this, could you please add back compatibility options for the iPad mini 2 or at least provide a good reason why you removed compatibility? I would appreciate that (and everyone else who lost compatibility)

Not that pleased. Rating going down every week.

Becoming more and more frustrating as I play well but lose game after game in a row with terrible teams. The laws of probability would make this kind of result improbable at best- I also question the algorithm in selecting teams as many times this “random” selection sees one team having superior ships to the other. I also seem to lose mostly when I have employed my limited supply of boosters. All too convenient I think for there not to be some form of handicapping in an effort to extract more of my hard earned money. Also it seems sort of modding is happening, I have photographic evidence of ships appearance being altered, but more importantly to game play is the performance of vessels compared to my own: my ships have upgrades which allow for better speed, turning radius etc. however I have witnessed ships I oppose on many occasions which totally defy the laws of physics and exceed any extra bonus available in the game. An Iowa BB traveling at max speed suddenly turns 270 degrees within its own length to avoid a spread of torpedos launched at point blank range? It’s not the matrix. Also ships disappear when I have targeted not deploying smoke screens at ranges of less the 5km, like what is that? I just had a full spread of torpedos go through a Montana amidships and not detonate. Next time it happens I’ll take some screenshots for the lawsuit... Don’t waste your money on this game like I did! The fix is in!!!
