    Recommend! But some suggestions

This game is really amazing. It has nice graphics, story line and NO ADS!!! I had to think before I wrote this and realized that fact. The match 3 stuff itself can get really hard though. In the match 3 there are regular levels and then there are the purple hard levels and the red super hard levels. I think there should be something when you have attempted a level a lot of times there is a way the game gives you a certain amount of skips or something like that. Especially since the whole moving forward in the game relies on the completion of levels. Maybe this could become something you buy with real money? I’m not saying I would buy it because my mom never lets me buy stuff for games, but other people would. I have noticed this thing that the game does, especially when there are events. They give unlimited lives again and again for rewards but the problem is that this plays automatically and forces you to keep playing the game until the time runs out. I think that many people including me would appreciate it if there was this sort of bank of something that keeps the rewards that have a certain time limit, so you can use them when you want. Thanks for reading my review and suggestions. I’m just a kid but these suggestions apply to everyone so pls take into consideration.☺️😁-meeee

    Long time player.....

I love this game, have been playing it for quite some time. It’s my “go to” favorite. I’m somewhere around level 1100 or close to it. Some levels are hard to the point that it gets ridiculous. Some of the hard levels are easy or perhaps it’s just luck to win them. I have spent days on a level and get frustrated and then dont play for a while...but i still really enjoy this game. You CAN win every level with out a power up. You DO NOT need to spend any money on this game, patience is a virtue (so they say). I have spent money and lately I haven’t. The one thing i do agree with most reviewers on is this... to buy a power up costs wayyy too much money for the amount of coins you receive for passing a level. To continue a game (at 900 coins) for a move or two costs a fortune considering you really don’t win much. To buy three hammers costs too much (1900 coins). I realize they do want you to spend money and i have but even when you spend, it doesn’t give you much in return. I mostly just wanted to let people know you don’t have to spend money to win this game...and yes, some of the tasks are eye rolling but....its still a fun game. Even if you don’t feel like playing, you can still receive a daily reward for logging on.

    Love! But needs some adjustments!

I absolutely love this game! It’s fun, challenging, amazing story lines, and cool ideas for decorating! I have been reading through the reviews and see a common complaint.... some levels are way too hard to earn so very little. I have stopped playing this and garden scapes out of frustration from time to time...yet I always go back! I spent 4 or 5 days on the same level on Homescapes and well over a week now on Gardenscapes level and it’s very discouraging. I have heard of people getting charged for additional things they don’t even purchase in games before..so I avoid making purchases at all costs.(***not in this specific game**) So it’s extremely discouraging when I spend so much time and get no where. That’s legit my only complaint. It’s not bad enough where I want to delete the games-because if you keep at it, EVENTUALLY you will beat it! Then it seems the next few levels are super easy then you hit one of the hard ones that takes days to beat. BUT the idea of the game, I think, is Genius! I DO love the little challenges and add on competitions you incorporate into the games, like the rockstar thing with Austin and all that! I wish we had more options for boosters, although I will say from time to time you add in the spin wheel u get to spin daily for boosters ! Overall it’s a great game - just challenging from time to time! Great to play during quarantine and needing an escape from reality for a little🤷‍♀️

    Has Potential

Homescapes is sort of a game I just stumbled on but as I got to know the storyline better, I became more interested. I’ve been playing this game for about one or two years, and at first I kind of didn’t seem much enthusiastic about the game, and it’s only because the way you get stars by matching objects and such didn’t seem like much fun, then, they added a new update where you could play mini games, and then, ( in my opinion) the game had more purpose to it, more to do. First off, to me, I didn’t exactly like how you had extra to do in levels like, for example, bring the doughnuts down, collect cherries, break chains, and match items to get carpet. Matching (once again, to me) isn’t very much fun especially when you have to do extras, and have a specific amount of moves to do it. Second, simple things such as collecting stars to “start a new day” isn’t worth going through a level, and having the risk of losing a life just to “start a new day”. Finally, the furniture needs to have a wider variety of colors, textures, types, etc. added to them. Overall, the game has potential and I really do enjoy it but I just feel, ( in my opinion) the game is getting more attention, more downloads, and getting older, it needs to have more options and explanations, (especially to new players) but if you want a simple, free, relaxing game I would definitely suggest it. Thank you for time! Sincerely, FeedUpWithBugs.

    Why is there no bathroom?

Overall a great and interesting game to play. Fun and challenging. Love: the extra rooms, added updates, extra “decor” you can earn by playing the seasonal games, graphics, some of the storylines, the cat, easy game within the game that earns stars/lives, garden is truly beautiful, no (direct) ads Confused by: no bathroom, the parents have no bedrooms, some colour and design choices Can do better: some storylines esp Katherine who is supposed to be the romantic interest but always looks on the verge of crying, the “ friends” are made to seem inclusive but can come off as tokenism, father is just plain annoying. Game forces you to play constantly by withholding some of the extra rooms. No ads which is a plus but then indirectly pushes you to purchase by not allowing you to proceed. (It is possible to play without purchasing, you just may be stuck on a level until game decides to let you go on, the level will be impossible to win until you’ve failed enough times and suddenly will become super easy) which brings me to next point which is game is neither skill based or luck but seem driven by trying to get you to purchase stuff through it. Some levels are so easy and then impossible until the same level becomes impossibly easy after you’ve either bought some bonus or tried enough times that it gives up on you purchasing. I get it, that’s the point of these things but still.

    Awesome game! But...

I love this game. It’s so relaxing and entertaining. It’s nice to have challenging levels. However, once you get further into the game, you can’t play as much because you start to go through lives like a hot knife through butter, which is why I can only give this app four stars. The stars in the game feel less and less possible to gain because each one takes over a day to gain sometimes. The challenge is fun, but perhaps there should be different difficulty levels for people who are interested in different aspects of the game? Not just an “easy mode” in which some levels are a bit easier, but a normal and hard mode as well. Or perhaps an occasional “watch ad to get one more move but if you want five more moves you have to pay” because it is very aggravating to feel as if you either have to have a ton of power ups or be able to purchase the five extra moves every time. Especially when, out of those five extra moves, you only needed to use one of the moves. I enjoyed the game a lot, but I want to be able to play without feeling like purchasing coins is a requirement to move forward. Overall, a good game- I love the aesthetic of the furniture, the plot is interesting and somewhat realistic, and Captain Flint is a very nice touch to the game. Just a few things that could be edited to make it more playable.

    Rewards aren’t sufficient

I have played many, and I mean MANY, games such as this one in my lifetime. I find them to be fun and even addicting. Although the concept of the game is great, and I’ve only been playing for a short while, something needs to be improved with the coin/lives system. Getting around 50 coins per mini-game, which can take multiple lives to complete, isn’t sufficient enough. In order to buy a life, 900 coins, you would have to play around 18 rounds just to get enough coins for ONE life. I do not pay money on games, never have never will, but it’s so frustrating that you may have one move left and instead of paying real cash, not in game coins, you have to wait for a life to replenish just to try and fail at the level again. Each round can take 10+ lives to complete, and it takes quite awhile for the lives to replenish. There should be some kind of reward opportunity other than completing a day, especially because you need to play the mini-games to get stars, in order to complete tasks, to complete the day. That’s a lot of tasks to do with not a lot of lives/coin rewards!!! If there were events where you can play other mini-games to gain rewards/treasures I think it would be more efficient. I also think 28 minutes is a long time to wait for one single life. I don’t want to give up on this game with not a lot of time put into it already, but if there is no improvement, I might have to.

Cute and fun! 👌🏻 But here’s the thing.

Homescapes is a good app. Not amazing but it’s good. It’s cute, it’s colorful and you feel accomplished when you fix the tv or replace the chair. The characters are nice and honestly kind of funny. 😄 and I’m glad you guys even included pets in the game! I like how everything is tried to kept decorated around the house. I like Homescapes much better than gradenscapes just because the colors and the graphics are better int my opinion. At least the game is a little better. The problem is you have to get stars from playing one game only. And even on a hard level you still get 1 star. It’s annoying how fast your stars run out. What’s even more annoying, it’s that sometimes you have to give one of your stars just to open a box, that you’ve already given a star for box to get to the house! What I’m saying is give more chances to get stars. Like as a prize. Instead of just money, give us a little money and a star! Or have different games besides just the one game to match the colors. Another thing is that it takes so long to complete one floor or one area of the house because of how limited of the stars you have. So I suppose you should just focus on the star problem because it will fix this one of taking so long! 😆 Please take this into consideration. The game would be much more entertaining and exciting if I didn’t give up so much on the game. Thank you 🐘🐘🐘

    Annoying Storylines

I'm giving this game 3/5 stars for a few reasons. I thoroughly enjoy the puzzle aspect itself, more so than competing puzzle games. The animations are smoother, the power ups are well thought out and exciting to use, and the puzzles are fun. I'm docking points though, because the storylines are infuriating to deal with. What roped me in to downloading this game was the home decor aspect. As a huge fan of interior design, this seemed like the perfect game for me. I got to play fun levels, but also simultaneously get to decorate a home. However, after spending months on this game, and completing 240 levels, I've only just now unlocked the 3rd room. If you can even call it that. It goes living room, kitchen, and then garden? Why!? There are TONS of rooms in this house, and after TWO HUNDRED AND FOURTY levels, I'm decorating a garden while so much of the house is untouched. Don't even get me started on the baking storyline. 6 stars just to bake the cake base. Another 3 to bake the house cake. Another 3 to frost it. Another 3 to put it together. Then 2 to drive it to the studio. Then 2 to celebrate the win. Then another 2 to open a present for winning... it doesn't stop! I didn't download the game to bake a cake. I downloaded it to furnish a house! Stop with that nonsense. It took WEEKS to get through that ridiculous storyline. I hope the developers listen to this criticism, because it's really really turning me off to an otherwise fantastic game.

    WHATS WITH THE CREEPY AD?!

This is a decent and fun game... But the ads that I see for this game while I’m playing other games don’t make any sense at all: they are completely misleading and don’t have anything to do with the Actual gameplay. When I first downloaded this game it was because of an ad that I’d seen, and the demo allowed me to pick out which furniture, which wallpaper, etc. Then I downloaded Homescapes and played, even spent some money on it because I was having fun and wanted to keep progressing. Now all the ads I see for this game don't make sense. I see some where the main characters are trapped on an island and they are being attacked by a shark, some where they are stranded in the cold and freezing, and within the last couple days I saw two more that DONT MAKE SENSE! The guy has to pee and he’s running down the hall and things are breaking. Then the reason I wrote this review is because I was so confused and disturbed by the one I just saw: the guy has his hands and feet tied to bed posts and the room is on fire and he wants to escape. That seems macabre and violent; who tied him there... his parents? It’s creepy when you compare it to the actual innocent and child friendly gameplay. What in the world was that ad?! Why would you make that strange violent ad to promote this game? I’m disturbed... lol... it’s been months and months since I’ve seen an ad that depicts anything similar to the actual gameplay. :/

Can Be Great but Loses its Potential

I’ve played this game for a few months now, I used to have it on another device but it got old. The game is really fun to play especially with the storyline and customization features, but the thing that just brings it all down is the updates on the levels. Now I don’t know if it was an update or not but for some reason when I look at others play this game they have like 15 more moves than me on the same level. For example I spent almost a week on a level that wasn’t even shown as hard. Although it expected me to get mangos and on top of that get rid of double taped boxes AND get the whole platform covered with green carpet or grass, never new what it was. Oh and on top of that the only way to get the green carpet is to use the two rainbow balls, which is behind all the boxes and mangos. And I have to do it all with only 14 moves. I barely have any boosters and don’t have a Facebook account so I don’t get free lives. And this isn’t just with one level, it’s for every few levels that I could spend even longer on because of the same issue. So please if you could, change something with the moves for the levels because it’s a really big issue for me and this game. Please read and think about this response, I really enjoy this game but it just can get really frustrating. But in all say, keep up the good work your guy’s games are really fun to play.

Game has turned into a joke!

I’ve been a loyal player for over two years on this game and I’m almost to level 3000. I love this game, it’s probably my absolute favorite HOWEVER…once you get to around 2300 maybe 2400 the levels agent ridiculously hard and they also give you less and less moves to clear the board. The levels that aren’t marked as hard or super hard are indeed super hard and the levels that are marked hard or super hard are just an absolute joke anymore. Unless you have tons of boosters to clear these levels…and even then it sometimes takes several attempts…there’s no possible way to clear the level unless you have the patience of a saint, which I do not. I used to really love to play this game, I looked forward to it every single day, but since they’ve clearly made the levels soo hard to beat, it’s almost impossible. One other thing is that the airplanes NEVER do what they are supposed to do, never. They never go here they should for the player, instead they go where the computer wants them to therefore screwing the player once again. I’m soo very dissatisfied and disappointed with Playrix. Now I’ve gotten to the point to where I may get on once a day or every other day because once I start to play I get soo frustrated and aggravated that I end up having to get back off. Shame on you Playrix. I give the game 2 stars because I still do love the game in itself, I love decorating and watching Austin and the animals move around the house.

    Love the game but....

I am at level 498 and I love the game. But when you have 10 more moves left and you win the level you are lucky to win 58 coins?!?! And you just better break out your dollars because some levels you will be killing yourselves to win. Like 498 level I am not going to spend anymore money on this game. And the few moves it gives you to play and the purple blocks that has the bugs in them good luck they get much harder in higher up levels. This level it has the regular white blocks that grow but the purple ones you have to kit them 2 to 3 times and they grow back just one to two moves after you remove another side. To get extra coins for more lives or boosters it is a lot of money for what little you get. 900 coins you get 3 this. And 1900 coins you get 3 globes. The lives run out so fast and sometimes my friends send me lives I see them and play one game go back to collect the life because it won’t allow you to have 6 life’s and it is missing. I am in the room right at the stairs I forget what it is called. Looks like another living room to me. The outside green house it felt like it took years to finish the plot line. I wish you could request the boosters but place them where you want them if you want them in the game. Like they would be added to your side menu but not dropped down in the puzzle because it places them and there would be a awesome move but the boosters messed it up and you only can use the boosters there is no other move.

    Easy pass

I’ve seen these ads for a long time before deciding to try it out. I deleted it after reaching level 20. The reason I deleted it is because it’s too boring to me. It was interesting fixing up the house but having to use multiple stars for some aspects and even to move to the next day is greedy. The bank I despised. Good premise but it holds coins you earn hostage unless you pay to buy it once you accumulate 3000 or 5000 coins. There is no choice either, you watch your coins disappear. The small mini games shown in the ads are the best part but they are way too few and far between. The majority of this game is playing levels over and over trying to get the next star to fix the never ending repairs. I also found having to use stars to open packages annoying. If I’m getting a gift it should be just. There is some humor and the scenes are colorful which is why i gave it two stars. Had the earning of coins been much higher, the mini games much more prevalent, the bank either free to obtain or at least an option, the limiting of one star per repair and not having to use stars on anything other than repairs I could have seen playing this longer. I tried these match three types of games several times now and always delete them quickly once the repetition of levels hits. If the match three aspect was a minor part rather than 90% of playing these would be tremendous fun, I’d even consider paying for that.
