    To you from me.

The game has seen a decline in all aspects at the fault of the developers of the game. I won't go monotone explaining these details as from reading the reviews below I feel satisfied with the explanation. The people and the community are what make me stay & the hope for better days for this once magical, and TRULY special game. As the game stands it deserves 1 star, but I hope the Devs take kindly my willingness to work with them (& the community) as to what should happen to the game (via REAL FEEDBACK IN FORUMS WITH POLLS AND SUCH). Please... don't let this game go into the abyss.

Fun game and meet lots of great people

The game itself is fun to play and you can meet and make friends through clans. Negative side is like many games the fighting side has been dummied down to make room for constant specials that you have to spend money to advance to top. Tiers. If your clan is not full of big spenders it is hard to maintain clan loyalty. Wish developers would work on better warring systems. However I have been playing for years and would encourage others to try it. Learning curve is a little hard but there are many clans who cater to beginners.

It is a war game - and a social entity

This game I’ve played for almost 8 years. While it started out as a social interaction game, talking with people from all over the world, it has evolved into something a little more secular with groups of people competing against each other for a status. A status only recognizable by the groups themselves at times. I used to love the game and I still do but the social aspect is less desirable. Maybe it’s too much like real life lol

I love KaW! But getting tired

I’d consider myself one of the OG’s of KaW because I started playing 3 months after it hit the AppStore. I’ve seen it all when it comes to KaW, GaW, PIMD, and that one futuristic version of KaW/GaW😂 Lately I’ve just been on cruise mode when playing. I don’t grind like I used to anymore because there seems to be some sort of bias between Devs and certain players. Most of the event chasers are almost impossible to keep up with despite spending $20 a week. I love the new equipment every event, keeps it fresh and something to work towards which is a huge plus. A negative with the event equipment is that it also takes two other resources to upgrade that equipment and it feels like I get new equipment much more faster than I’m getting resources to upgrade them. Also if you want any sort of edge, you have to spend some money. Whether that’s on nobility or doing some offers from the oracle. I still absolutely love the game and will continue to play but only part time. It’s not worth putting most of your effort into this game without spending money.

    Change Is Good

This game has changed a lot in the eight years I’ve been playing; change can be good. I’m exhausted with all the events, if I’m being honest. It’s the same thing over and over. I feel like a hamster on a wheel. They did recently release upgrade items as rewards from free chests. I average about $250/yr on this game and have little to show for it. I wish the forums were better organized and game play didn’t “require” additional apps to talk to other players and ATA support (Imgur, Line, etc.) The game is almost too basic “infrastructure” wise. I would love to see a search bar in the game’s marketplace!!! Or even a manual sort option for the showcase. (Ie I can sort out duplicates, items I want to use for trades, and items I want to keep.)

It was fun but now it’s :/

I’ve been playing KaW for a while until it just got boring. I loved the game when it came out, but now it’s just the same few things over and over. Now people have glitches and are exploiting the game. One of my friends playing this had to merge 5 clans because there was barely any people online. I hate to admit it but this game is dying. People are getting bored of it bc of no change. Just the same EBs over and over. And barely any updates. Now money is the only way to like the game more. The devs don’t give a crap on fixing it cause all there is on dev responses are like 2 bot generated responses, they ban for no reason. If I get a response below this it’s a bot.

    Been playing for 7 years

I only find the fun in PvP, but it’s obvious the developers do not care about it, barley anyone does PvP now because the developers want you to spend money to hit “premium” Epic Battles (EB), nobody wants to fight, they just want gold (from these premium EBs), and if you want to do well in this game you WILL have to spend. Some players are blatantly cheating and the developers do not care because of the amount of money those players spend on this game. Other than that, I don’t have a problem with it. The only reason I’ve stayed around is because of the friends I’ve made, not because this game is just that great (anymore at least).

    Don’t get this app

So I’ve been playing this game for years and loved it. I invested lots of time and money into a few accounts. The problem is that ATA does not enforce their own Terms of Usage. In fact their own moderators are on third party apps buying and selling accounts and gear. This is the very thing they are supposed to stop. Not only that but look at their leader board. Most are bought accounts (against ToU) and have so much extra gear that there is no possible way to earn that legally. In a recent move an lb player was reported to drop thousands of dollars over a few days to mass up on charms. This was ignored while the player he was fighting was banned for botting. The player who used the bot, if tru, should be banned, by why give the other one a free pass when they obviously broke ToU. Another problem KaW has is that the things you spend money in game don’t always work. The Ally hide spell is a joke. There are people paying for subscriptions to see the ally hires of other players even when they have their ally spell on and don’t let it laps. This is a fun game ruined by the devs selective and ineffective enforcement of their own policies.

    No longer a fun game

This game used to be very fun and addictive. You can see by the most recent posts in the past year, many long time players have left due to the corruption in the game. This is a war game, yet if you dare take on Apocalypse or kotfe specifically, and if you give them a good fight, they will have the devs ban you for no reason. RedHotVixen and MrGibbyGibson will claim their enemies use bots when there is quite a bit of proof that kotfe themselves use bots. Brutal, another kotfe member, and his 20+ accounts continue to play while the devs ban other players with a smaller amount of alternate accounts. So they sit as the top alliance and clan without having any real competition due to this tactic of using the developers power of banning honest and legit accounts. I’ve seen this happen many years ago and it continues to this day. If honest accounts can’t play this game as it’s intended to be played, there is no real reason to continue playing. The bias in this game is blatantly obvious. Smaller kotfe members themselves will admit that. The only people giving this game 5 stars are those people that are either very new, or they do not fight in this war game. It’s actually very sad what has happened to this game because there is no other game like it. Most longtime players only stay active because of the friendships they’ve made in the game.

    Literally back and forth

Kaw has done a bad job with making new content, I’ve been playing for a while and the only that “new things” this game gets are recycled weekly events. You simply log on, hit on certain battles and then wait for your troops to become full and repeat. Rewards from this cycle grant equipment but the equipment from older weekly events are always worse than the ones from the newer weekly events. So the equipment is essentially useless. The silver bars gained are quite nice but unless you get into certain clans normal players won’t be able to rank high on weekly events. The mods in this game are sooooo bad. They silence you if you disagree with them. But on the bright side, there’s only two that talk in the world chat. In conclusion this game is an endless back and forth cycle of weekly events with a toxic community and no room for real growth and improvement.

    Banned account for no reason

I haven’t played the game in quite some time, but had it downloaded on my old phone before it bit the dust. I decided it had been long enough and that I would come back to KaW, because I have spent enough money on it at this point that it would be a waste not to. When I tried to login, however, it said that my account was banned for a violation to the terms of use! Imagine my surprise when my game worked just fine and had done nothing wrong the last time that I was online, only to come back MONTHS later after not even opening the app to be banned. The best part is to contact the company for support it says to ‘do it in game’ which is impossible while banned. This is ridiculous and I regret every dollar I spent with ATA. Save yourself the time and money and learn from my mistake.

Addicting not in a fun way.

As many have said they are addicted to this game just like I am. The developers have essentially gone from being amazing in 2011 to not trying in 2019. They constantly releases in tested updates that have consistently made the game crash, or have opened a way for players to abuse the game. Instead of apologizing to the community and telling them that they screwed up they blame the players for an exploit that was so easy to see. The developers do not actually care about your feedback in support and typically if you have an idea they say go to forums and it will die there. They punish players for their mistakes and have created unobtainable goals. You’ll never actually be a full account. Also they will give a generic “oh thanks for the rating. If there are any specific areas” kind of reply to this.

    Not a war game

The game used to be a war game. Now it's eb social game moderated by players that act the same of those they are silencing. They are crude and crass in world chat but protected by the devs. It is definitely not for a 9 yr old to play. It's false advertising being a war game and age appropriate? Beware. Ata wants you to tell them what they can improve on. The kaw community tells the every day. Developers only give you a blanket statement. I’ve seen abuse of TOS by the mods and the VKs. I’ve written them with evidence and they yet to punish the rule breakers. I’ve given this a 1 star rating. Really if the devs don’t take control of the game and deal with the concerns that the players have then I really don’t see any reason for the game to be rated higher. There is a lot of abuses happening in the game but it seems the devs are complacent.

Game is a waste of time

The game is so corrupt at this point. You can’t even enjoy playing anymore. They cater to the players that pay to play and also cater to a clan and knowingly let them cheat. Kotfe members and me gibby Gibson are the people they cater to the most. As most mods in the game are kotfe members. When you call the mods and devs out on it they silence you and then try to ban your account from playing. The help button is a joke because if you do get an answer it’s just a random answer that has been given over and over again. Never can you talk with a real person about a problem. I have spent money on the game and at this point regret it and will not be spending any more money on it. Find another game to play. You will not enjoy this one.
