Okay, first of all, any reviews that say you "have to pay money" to get anywhere in the game clearly is written by someone who missed some of the awesome strategy aspects of the game. I am taking out people 5-6-7 levels above me in the multiplayer all the time, I never spend money in game. Anyway, beyond that, the game is great but recently a change was made and it no longer allows me to watch videos to cut time off of waiting for items to unlock. What's up with that?? Bring that back and I'll up you to 5 stars *** update *** videos are (mostly) working again. Restoring 5 star rating. One request though, nerf Jack, he is insanely overpowered. He has the ability to basically to heal forever. He’s beatable but just barely.

A good game overall, but I’m concerned about what seems to be a bug that has you “randomly” matched up against the same player multiple times in a row, especially if it’s a higher-level player you’ve just beaten. It almost seems like the matching algorithm tries to give that other guy a chance to get back at you....

The amazing graphics and mechanics of this game are overshadowed by 3 things; 1) You can only play roughly 5 "equal" level missions at a time. That said, the missions are super hard and will not be equal level. They reward little exp, 40 of 2000 (or something). You will not be leveling by playing the game. 2) Jack is inexplicably terrible. His 30 dollar legendary card has nearly identical stats to Lions 2.99 rare card. (That u get a free roll on like every other hour). All of his cards are, for whatever reason, worse than their counterparts. Also, grinding for him is not a real option due to the energy restrictions and difficulty of the game mode (Rainbow bridge). It should also be noted that u cannot progress through the campaign if u wish to very slowly grind jack as the Rainbow Road and the Campaign share an energy pool. 3)Game Breaking Bugs. The one that every player should know about pertains to the multi level option for cards. It may eat your resources and not scale up the damage past the first level gained. ( I.E. a card leveled from 1 to 7 will have the same damage as a level 2 card at level 7) the bugs go on, but this one will make an entire character useless. Please avoid it, level 1 at a time. All in all I love the theme and graphics of the game, the mechanics, and the hidden layers to the story. But there are some serious issues that need to be addressed. Thanks 4 listening.

So the game updated today. I play this game everyday and after today’s update I can’t get the game to load! I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still nothing! I’m going to be so mad if I miss out on my daily bonus because I’m 2 days away from 2000 emeralds! Normally I love everything about this game... except for the fact that Jack is ridiculously skewed in the arena in his favor. His skills are so far out of balance compared with the rest of the characters it’s ridiculous! If they don’t get this update fixed it will be the final straw for me.

Good game ruined by greed, also the game seemed to be balanced by a 10 year old with no thought about cost/value ratios. This goes for prices of card packs and the in game currency, it’s a joke. The higher ranks of the arena is 100% pay to win, skill doesn’t whatsoever. Imagine playing a mirror match (LION vs LION) only his abilities and companions are doing DOUBLE DAMAGE compared to your exact same abilities. The amount of resources to even make 1 high level skill or companion upgrade would take like 6 months to accumulate by in game energy, OR you can drop $10, $20, $30++ to do it. I have gotten pretty far on good strategy and about $20, hovering around top 100 arena, but above that plan to drop serious cash. I estimate some of the people I lose to to have spent hundreds, if not thousands to get their skills and companions where they are. If you play arena, expect to hit a brick wall around the top 200 and better unless you care to drop real money. And the rewards are a joke outside the top 5 arena winners in a game where thousands play every month

This game looks good, and is fun to play initially. As other reviews say, it then becomes the worst grind I have ever seen. I don't mind spending some money, but even making purchases will not give you enough essence or abilities to make the later levels fun to play. Even more frustrating--either the game is glitchy and does not reward you for completing the quests you did, or the developers are now trying to force you to spend even more money--because now when I complete the daily quests the game is no longer rewarding me. I hate to delete a game when I am close to completing the campaign, but it is time to do just that. It is really impossible to go any further. If you are content with going as far as you can and then giving up on a game, then by all means give Oz a try. But if this makes you as frustrated as it makes me, don't even bother.

This game was fun until I realized the matches in the arena are set up completely unfairly. The game sets players who are still learning the game (which in my case I was) up with people who have obviously played a lot longer and obviously spent hundreds of dollars on the game. And after a while doing the story mode doesn’t give you good enough xp to even come close to beating anyone in the arena. So obviously it’s rigged to get us to spend money which I’m not going to be tricked into doing. Maybe if you guys fixed the arena set up and let us chose who we want to fight based on our current levels instead of putting new people in unfair matches to get them to spend money and give us more xp in story mode with leveling up then maybe I’ll revisit this and rate this 5. Deleted in the meantime. 2 Stars.

I've played this game for almost 2 years and really enjoyed it. The graphics are beautiful and characters are awesome. I'm super bummed. 😢 So much has changed since the new ownership. The new rainbow road is nothing like it used to be. FYI it used to be an actual rainbow road. For a new player it's going to be very hard as they have made the map levels crazy hard to pass. It's basically a fight you cannot win. The flow of the game use to be wonderful as levels were challenging but not to the point that a seasoned player would want to quit. Sorry, but I would rather spend my time and money on something rewarding and fun.

I’m at level 48 and have enjoyed playing daily to get this far. I never had to really pay for much because I enjoyed earning it all even if it was slow but that’s not to say that I didnt want to give the developers some money for putting together a good concept BUT after about 10 legendary pearl coins and not a single pearl, not sure why or how this company thinks people will keep spending money to not get anything for it. From what I’m reading here after 60 legendary pearl coins and only getting one legendary pearl, this isn’t adding up and I’ve written to the customer support team and they said it’s a “low drop rate”. I now realize that this means almost none at all. So to those folks they can FO. Aside from all this, why haven’t they released the iPhone X update to the game. They’ve had plenty of time before the release and now after to update the game. Glad Apple is eventually forcing all developers to support the phone. Too bad I’ve pretty much given up on the game and definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND! They should drain the swamp over in their offices and fire these losers.

I’ll change my review to 5 stars when you cheats fix the pearl drop rate. Released Evo 5, which by the way Evo’s used to be free or you could at least grind it out but now all of a sudden it’s a pay feature. But back to your scheme, release Evo 5 then not say a word for two weeks about how we should be able to get it, na you just release a feature and leave your players clueless, next you release packs for $10-$100 with the pearls in them, or so you say they’re in there so everyone buys hoping to get them, I personally bought 66 Legendary Pearl Coins and got 1 Legendary Pearl, that’s $60 for me to get 1/5th of what I need for Evo 5. Not counting we need 10-15 more for gems, you’re talking $2000 to mayyyybe be able to use this awesome new feature that you introduced to the players. You know you did some dirty sales tactics, you have a very loyal fan base and you chose to rip them off over just be fair about it. Hope you read this bc your entire fan base is RAGING MAD that we’ve stuck by your sides and this is how you choose to do your paying players.

Feb. 3: The “Rainbow Road” has the Nome King at round 10. The creature has a life over 3100 and defeats my team. I used to get to round 23 before my team couldn’t move on. .....@#$& Jan. 5: Received a 5th gen. iPad (was playing on a 2nd gen.); this game no longer crashes. It runs smoothly and is once again enjoyable to play!!! (Incompatible With Older Devices 😒) Dec. 3: The crashing bug has made a full circle! Just like last year at this time, after the forced update, the game crashes a lot. The developers haven't eliminated the bug since. Why??? Oct. 14: Can't go past Wave 28 in the Rainbow Road. The game keeps crashing during the battle. (Blew was fixed) Oct. 7: Hero quests were able to be fill by playing Rainbow Road, now it doesn't. Campaign and Arena still crash. It's getting to be extremely disappointing and frustrating to play. I have spent money in the past on this game. I hate the thought of quit playing!!! Sep. 8: Rainbow Road: It should have only taken about an half hour to play through 15 battles at the start of Rainbow Road. It took over an hour and 20 minutes. The game keeps crashing and I spend most of my time waiting for the game to restart. I lost 60,000 essence because the game resets at 9pm. + I can't play the Arena nor the campaign because they crash. #DO THE DEVELOPERS TEST THIS GAME BEFORE RELEASING UPDATES!!!

I’ve purchased over 60 Legendary Pearl Coins to get at least 5 of the new Pearl. NOT ONE was given to me!!! The drop rate is non existent and it is a clear money pit. Do Not Purchase this lie!! They are not giving them away, regardless of what you may think. I don’t know who is in charge of this game now, but it has seriously gone downhill with the new money, money, money mind set. It used to be playable and fun, now it’s outrageously expensive to upgrade almost anything. Even real money doesn’t get you very far. I will now stop paying for anything. My characters are maxed out, except for the ones that require the New Pearl. However, since they are not given at all, it no longer matters!! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. Only play this game for free. They should be required to show the drop rate before they ask for money. 60 Coins and NOT ONE pearl. RIP OFF!!!!

This game recently had a major update where they released Evo 5. Unfortunately to achieve Evo 5 you need 5 Legendary coins which apparently are not even released in the game as of yet so that will require another expansion. I am level 65 at the time I write this article and that was the level cap (now it is level 75) but this game is ridiculous with respect to the difficulty and little reward. I’m a seasoned player with nearly 2 years into this game and initially the game was enjoyable but now simply put a real PITA to progress. The only way to truly progress is to pay for the upgrades (but not just once). Oh no, they want you to keep paying outrageous fees to progress. It is a definite pay to win scenario. Game is built on feeding greedy developers.

Update: 0 stars. They pit me against players who have over 10,000 trophies?!!! This game is a total joke, a scam. And when I try to contact customer service I get the same message telling me to check my "internet connection." They've clearly, purposely disabled customer service for the game. There is something seriously WRONG with the makers and keepers of this game. No integrity, no respect. I'm disgusted. This game is so messed up, things just don't make sense within the game and I'm ready to bail! I could say so many detailed things about it but, nah. The one thing I find most intolerable is the cheating by other players in the arena, Scumbags who just can't play fair and square and take the defeats they're handed. PATHETIC! I'm out.
