An epic achievement amongst a sea of mediocrity.

If you like getting value for the dollars you spend on an online game, if you want gritty action with a steady flow of progress for time spent and dollars invested.... if you’re tired of being ripped off by companies like Pixonic, DragonVale and others that look at you as a nothing more than a spigot of cash....then THIS GAME IS FOR YOU! Spectacular graphics, steady platform that never crashes, an amazingly rich complex world with a plethora of levels to explore and develop.... Olympus Rising is a masterpiece of mobile gaming. I’ve been playing for a little more than 1.5 years and there is still room to grow! This game is the best bang for your buck both in time and money investment out of all the other online games I’ve played in the last three years.

    I’m definitely addicted

Typically I’m reluctant to provide great reviews for an app, because it’s not long after that, an update comes out and I end up retracting my review. However, since I downloaded this game 2 days ago, I have played almost nonstop! It’s a great app because while you don’t have to spend cash to do well, I didn’t mind spending the cash for the upgrades, I feel what I got was definitely worth it. To give at least one gripe, the only thing I’m bugged by is the fact that when you take over a province, there’s nothing that informs you that you shouldn’t Leone has taken your province. I could be wrong, but so far that’s my only gripe about this game.

    Seemless Gameplay

I’ve been highly impressed with this tower style game! There’s plenty of room for growth, and as the tips/tricks are learned, plenty of room for improvement. As with any game, it isn’t without some flaws. However, the developers listen well to feedback (kudos to the game forum) and fix bugs at an amazing turn around, upon discovery. Periodically, new content is released to add more flavor to the game, keeping it relatively fresh and inspiring. Anyone playing the game will become completely and pleasantly engaged, especially if they take advantage of joining one of the many Alliances, which provides benefits and comradeship. Great job to the developing team for all their hard work!!

    Amazing! Not pay to win!

I’ve been playing for over 2 years now and the game never get boring, in fact it gets much more fun and addictive by time. The game is very easy to play and direct to the points (no overwhelming features and hard to get resources). you have 3 basic resources acquired mainly by attacking other players on your map in addition to your production. Forging items for your best heroes is simple yet sophisticated once you level up which makes the game more addictive. The dev team are always responsive to players suggestions and everything they add is based on players recommendations. Last but not least the game is Not Pay To Win! you can be in the top 10 without spending a dime. I recommend it for everyone looking to get away from those castle building games that require money or endless times for every upgrade. Cheers!

    Fun and cheap

After playing another game which requires a huge investment, this game is a welcome relief. It is fun and easy enough to advance without having to spend huge amounts of money (or any at all). There isn't that much interaction with other people, but it's enjoyable to play. It’s a bit slow at higher levels unless you spend money but It’s still doable without spending. The pace of new releases is nice as too much too fast will cause the game to become unplayable quickly.

    Great game!

The game is incredibly fun! My only gripe with it is new heroes that you unlock are so weak comparatively speaking, Hercules is the first hero and by the time you can unlock say Cadmus Hercules and the other hero’s you unlocked already will be so powerful compared to Cadmus. In other words if the average damage my heroes do is 800 then the newest hero I unlock should have a damage around that level, not 200. It makes me not want to use my new unlocked heroes. I guess what I’m trying to say is: either scale up the stats of heroes unlocked later in the game so they can compete with your similar level enemies OR have all of the regular heroes available from the start(excluding Zeus, Ajax, Hades, and Artemis). Although Ajax is strong, his stats still aren’t that great for how late in game you unlock him, unless you can unlock him sooner rather than later

Good game but some things need fixed

First of all, I love the game, I like everything except the fact that your ambrosia (power to attack others) runs out so quickly so once you run out you have to wait like 3 days to get back up again, or pay which I hate cause I litterally can’t attack anyone, also the time limit in battles are so dumb, like 5 times while fighting a boss I would start breaking the gate and I would be like 1 hit away from destroying the gate and getting a 3 star and a new hero but then the time runs out and the gate is like 1 hit away from winning which really pisses me off cause it happens all the time

    Few things

Overall a great game but there are a few things I would change like one thing once you get your hero past level 10 they’re pretty much un killable so while all my soldiers are dying around me I can just plow ahead and sometimes I TRY to kill my hero and it doesn’t work and one other thing why does it only cost 25 ambrosia to attack someone and then like 200 ambrosia to attack another person I would just have it at 50 ambrosia to attack everyone but other than that it’s really a great game and I recommend it to pass sometime and these days pretty much everyone has a ton of time

    Olympus rising

Well I’m having a good time playing the game. I think you have a very successful product on your hand. I would hope that you keep the prices for gems down and not be like the other greed games out there. I would love two things about the island. First the main gate from the water is it possible that we could attack up the hill or defend up the hill as well. Then maybe on he other side of the island opposite the port you could have a underground entrance that couple pertain to darker gods or evil. Anyway just throwing out so ideas. I love the mythology games. Great job.

    Pls help me

I love this game I just got the hydra which is really cool but I joined this alliance with 8 people and one we don’t talk on chat like we use to on royal revolt 2 but what bugs me is when two alliances double team and then you fail yet your alliance would beat them one v one and this always happens so can you have it we’re an alliance can be attacked only by one or alliance or just change it so it’s one v one I’m pretty sure that would be easier than what your doing now and would be more organized and fun and make better rewards at this point war isn’t good enough

    COULD BE THE BEST

The story structure, graphics, design and basic content of the game is fantastic. But the game moves too slowly and it gets boring. There is a terrible element of redundancy that takes away from an otherwise great game. My biggest complaint is the amount of “dominance” needed to explore new areas. The game is essentially a map. You conquer an area and acquire dominance points which accumulate and open new areas on the map when certain point levels are reached. The problem is it takes too long. It is silly, boring and takes people out of the game world to have to circle around and around conquering and reconquering the same islands which offer nothing new for weeks or months!!! .... in order to open a new area. Please change the settings and open new areas immediately after the preceding islands have been conquered. We do not want to wait and travel the same boring terrain over and over again. Sincerely.... EVERYONE

Got the makings of greatness here.

First, a question. how do I AR? I just updated my iPad to the newest os. Second, a review, game is going pretty well. Progress is kind of meh and I quite enjoyed being able to get that starter pack without actually having to pay cash. The whole “capture the islands” bit is tedious. Especially when all the best islands are in one corner of the map and it takes half my ambrosia to get back to the other side just to recapture. Fortunately, some pattern recognition and the occasional 5 gem drop to get 6 chests leaves you with plenty of ambrosia. Having said that, it doesn’t make that part of the game any less tedious. Especially since you barely get any income from islands that don’t have a hero on them. Having said that, the auto play is useful, especially since manually casting spells doesn’t break it. Definitely a nice feature.

    Game is good BUT

I do LOVE this game. It is well made and well thought out and the graphics is great. I would love to give 5 stars but my biggest problem with the game and I find the most annoying is that each time I open up a chest, if it’s an item I decide to keep, my game crashes on ever item I keep. If there’s 2 item on the chest, my game crashes twice and I don’t receive my items. I love this game a lot that I was about to use money but now I am hesitant especially when I open my titan chess. I can’t count how many God level items I should have gotten and 2 item that’s red background which I’m not sure what level items they were. I could deal with the crashing game as long as I get the items. I don’t know who else have problems like this but I hope it gets fix. It would be a bummer to buy gems and just gets wasted cause I can’t get any item. Once this is address, I’ll update my review.

Once your level is high the game is NO FUN

I’ve been playing for years. I’ve acquired tons of special items and have maxed out levels on everything in the game. The opponents on my islands are impossible to beat as they are consistently the top few hundred players in the world even though I am many thousands of places behind them. The top 100 players in the world are the only ones that attack me. I’ve done a ton of odysseys and strengthened my defense. My defense is incredibly good but it matters not. The algorithm deciding opponents and who attacks me does a TERRIBLE JOB assessing opponents properly. After all of this time, the game has robbed me from being able to enjoy it. Unless you play 24/7 and spend tons of TRAL MONEY, you will eventually lose your enjoyment completely.
