    Crypto.com at top pf screen

No real problems with the game as such but the moving orange B in the Crypto.com advertisement served by AppLovin at top of the screen day after day will eventually stop me from playing. It is worse than distracting. Am on Level Hard 24 and don't know when this annoyance started.

One of the better Logic games

Available for IOS. I’d actually like to give this app 3 1/2 stars. There are 3 levels to choose from, so basically everyone will find a place for them to start. The only thing that gets to me is that darn toggle button you have to slide every time from an X to a check mark. If you happen to forget to toggle, it will count as a mistake (you are “allowed” 3). All other Logic problem apps use the one click for an X and two clicks for a check mark. Needless to say, I have made more “mistakes” from forgetting to toggle than for selecting the wrong answer. Otherwise, there are no “real” issues besides a few grammar errors, which you should be able to easily figure out. But that toggle button? It has got to go ASAP. Developers, please get rid of the toggle so I can change my rating to 5 stars. I said if you got rid of the toggle, I would change my review to 5 stars. You did your part of the bargain so I did mine. 5 stars all the way. Thank you developer(s) for listening!!!

      Could Be Better

I love logic puzzles and some of these have been a lot of fun, but I will probably delete this app for two reasons. 1) As many others have stated, the ads are ridiculous in their length and run longer than many of the puzzles themselves. 2) What really bothers me however, is the fact that you have very very inappropriate ads on your app that I just started getting tonight. Children often play games like these and I have used such problems like these in my math classroom for many years but the ad shown, with three women barely dressed in lingerie, talking about lust and one of them holding a whip is just absurd! Do you even think about the audience these games would be played by? So totally inappropriate to find ads like those on games kids may be playing. I will very likely be this app tonight as I don’t want those things popping up on my screen when I have little ones with me.

      Great game, minor issue

I can definitely say ‘Cross Logic’ has intrigued me and I really enjoy playing it. I maxed out the first level fairly quickly and am now getting through the second, which I am liking. My current problem is when I click on the app the detective (logo) appears and begins to shrink, but the level select never pops up. It’s just the detective with a blank screen all around. This happened once before and the app was up to date. After a few days of trying I had to entirely delete the app, download it again and start over. It’s now starting to cause the same problem again. I have restarted my phone, recently added the new update to it and everything else I could think to do, but it still will not allow me the option to play. There is nothing to select. If this little issue was fixed I wouldn’t have any complaints. The ads aren’t as excessive as other reviews said, especially with the option to skip after only a few seconds. Though I do hope there are additional puzzles added soon, I still enjoy it.

      Good game. Could be better.

Choosing to round up the rating because of the last update. The latest update, which makes playing the next game easier was a big improvement. My issue is sloppy, perhaps even lazy, writing in the clues. Example 1: Mr Smith injured his leg in March, so he scheduled his vacation for the next season. The solution was summer. Unfortunately, March (in the northern hemisphere) starts in winter and ends in spring. The clue is ambiguous at best. Changing March to April makes it correct with no ambiguity. Example 2: A group of jewelers each specialize in making a type of jewelry: rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. The clue reads that Mrs. Smith likes rings, which is supposed to mean that she makes rings. These are logic puzzles. Liking something does not mean one specializes in making it. This is sloppy and is exactly the kind of red herring other puzzles use to throw off the user. Clean up the writing.

      *almost* there

For those who are interested in these kind of puzzles, whether they have experience with them or not, this is a good app. The tutorial explains a simple, easy-to-grasp strategy, the clues are well thought out, and the interface is straightforward. My only serious complaints are in regards to completion. When the user has entered in just enough information to imply the correct answer, the app automatically completes it. Alternatively, if the puzzle is completed with errors, the app gives two options: automatically erase the mistakes, or restart entirely. I would like to see the option to “submit” a completed puzzle. This way, the user has the satisfaction of coming to the correct solution themselves, instead of having it snatched away by automation. Should the user submit an incorrect solution, I would like to see a third option presented: one where the user has the option to review their own submission, and address the errors themselves. Again, this option offers more satisfaction to the user. Ultimately, I will continue to use this app, because the puzzles are entertaining and engaging. Adding these features will earn it my fifth star.

      Too Many Ads

This game is a lot of fun to play, but there are a few issues that have caused me to consider deleting it. First off, the toggle button is really annoying. Many of the first hints given in the game correspond to the correct box, causing the user to select the box as the answer. Unfortunately, the toggle is set to Xs opposed to the checkmark that the user intended. This causes you to use 1/3 of your allowed errors before restarting the puzzle entirely. Secondly, after completing a puzzle, you are forced to watch ads and then return to the main menu before selecting the next puzzle to be completed. This is super annoying as the ads I receive are about gambling or poorly designed games. There is no way to avoid watching these. It seems like the puzzles take fewer time than watching the 30 second ads to begin your next one. Lastly, as mentioned above, I don’t like how after completing a puzzle one needs to return to the main menu. If there was a button that allowed the user to continue with the selected difficulty levels that would give this game 4 stars. The only other thing preventing a 5 star rating is the amount of ads that I receive. If you like this game but don’t like the large quantity of ads, I suggest that you play CodyCross. It is a ton of fun and has little to no ads.

      I’d love to give 5 stars but…

This game is pretty addicting. If you get easily frustrated over mechanics that seem unfair, it’s not for you. To go from check marks to X’s you gotta remember to hit the switch every time. So when you forget, you make a mistake. You only get three mistakes. You can turn off the mistake counter or up it I think, but that made my game glitch and there’s no fun in that! I really think the switch mechanic needs an upgrade, maybe something that stands out more so it’s not as forgettable. Those are just little things. Even with these criticisms I would give it 5 stars. The big thing that made me immediately delete it the recycling of these puzzles. I played through all the normal levels, and I noticed a few times that I would get the same puzzle. I thought maybe I failed it and forgot, or maybe it was slightly different than before to make it harder. After finishing normal, I was 15 levels into hard when I got the same exact puzzle as a few levels before. There’s nothing that turns me off a game more than repeatedly doing something I’ve already accomplished. I hope you fix this for future players but I think I pretty much got the whole experience from playing all the normal levels.

Inconsistent Clues & Too Many Ads

I love the idea behind this game and have played a few levels of each difficulty setting. I’ve found issues with the phrasing of some of the questions, particularly in comma usage. You have to be careful when listing things because commas in a series may sometimes read as nonessential phrases and it really throws off the logic part of the puzzle. I read one once that was along the lines of “Tina, the person who scored a 67, and (someone else) took the easy, hard, and impossible tests” (note, I’m paraphrasing the clue itself, but not the structure of the sentence). The phrasing here makes it seem like Tina scored a 67, but this was not the case. Little things like that go a long way, especially when you only get three mistakes in a level. Also, the amount of Ads is frankly annoying. One plays after every single level, sometimes even interrupting my level while I’m still working on it. I understand that ad revenue is where the developers get their money, but I would seriously consider paying for an ad-free version of this game. That’s not currently an option that I could find.

      Not bad. It has potential.

Positives: I enjoyed the ability to control whether rows were automatically completed when sufficient clues were identified. I also thought the three levels were balanced well. I was happy to be given more chances if I made too many mistakes. Watching an advertisement is not too high a price to pay. Possible improvements: Especially in the hard level, which took up more space, the squares were easy to miss. I would have been happy with bigger squares, even if I had to move the puzzle to see parts of it. I would like to see some of the clues tightened up (some were redundant), and I would like to see at least one of the puzzles edited. Two conflicting clues were stated in the first line. Glitches: Every program has them, and they’re not a deal-breaker in this game, but the developers may want to know about two: Occasionally, the game skips back to an earlier puzzle; and a couple of times a previous puzzle has repeated itself under a different puzzle number.

Too Short and Some Clues with Errors :(

This game is so so fun. There’s nothing Ive found like it and it’s so nice when I want to play a more calm game. But it seems the hard levels only go up to 20 before it starts repeating puzzles which I really hope will change! The other skill levels still provide some enjoyment, but the hard ones were what really made me enjoy the game. Unfortunately I can’t see myself playing much more if new hard levels aren’t added because the easy and normal ones get pretty boring pretty fast. Also would like to note that there are some puzzles where the clues don’t match the things on the grid. Like one puzzle involved fruit and the clues mentioned two fruits that were different than the ones on the grid which made solving a lot harder. And understandably some might not have been able to solve it at all which would have kept them from progressing to the other levels solely due to creator error.

Needs more levels and better proofreading

I can’t remember how many easy levels there were, but i do remember the normal levels having an upwards of 67 levels whereas the difficult only had 17 levels. what???? definitely needs more difficult levels. the grammar wasn’t great but i could figure the clues out with little issue. i liked that it made the game more challenging. there were a couple puzzles with mistakes in the clues that made it impossible to solve without using the hints. on easy level 46 the clues say “the picture with a rabbit” and then “picture ‘venus in distress’” but only one can be a picture in the puzzle. another puzzle that was unsolvable was in hard mode called “multiplication table”. the clues mentioned mangos and kiwis which were nowhere in the puzzle itself. despite the unsolvable puzzles i still really enjoyed the game. it’s addicting and i wish there were way more levels to play

      Pretty decent

I like the game so far. The grammar is a little strange in places, so some clues are a little unhelpful because they are worded too ambiguously. Example: there was a level about test scores and one of the clues read something like “Tina, the person who scored a 67, and the person who took the hard test…” or something close to that. You can interpret this sentence in too many ways, so the clue ends up being less helpful than it’s meant to be. I believe the devs meant it to mean Tina, the person who scored a 67, and the person who took the hard test to all be different people, but you could also interpret the person who got a 67 as being Tina, or even that all the clues are referring to Tina. Also, specifically in Hard Level 7, the puzzle is about fruit prices. The clues mention kiwis and mangos, but neither of these fruit are options in the grid, so these clues end up being unhelpful to the point where they almost break the level. So while I am enjoying the game, it suffers from a serious lack of grammar and content editing. I see comments from the devs on other reviews claiming they do have editors who fact check the grammar and I’m only going to say this: You either need to pay your editors more so they’ll be motivated to do their job well, or you need to find new ones.

      loved it before update

Okay so i was on like level 24 or something like that, but today after i updated it, my thing had been reset to 18, which just so happened to be the most annoying level for me. I also dislike how now instead of automatically knowing if you were wrong, you have to watch an ad. I know you get a free one after the update, but i didn’t know what it meant so i wasted it on a blank canvas. Something you should add is being able to zoom in on the grid, because the size of my phone makes it so small and i always misclick. If you can find a way to reboot me back to my level and take away that mistake thing, i’ll go back to using this app instead of a new one. EDIT: Im convinced y’all are screwing with me. The day after i posted this review (aka today) i check the app again because i had a small form of hope that maybe, just maybe you had fixed it. But nope. I would’ve understood if my level had still remained on 18, but now it has moved down AGAIN to level 13. I’ve been moved down over 10 levels within 2 days. Im this close 🤏 to deleting the app. :(

      The new update

Yes, the toggle button was a little bit annoying… But I prefer it 30 times more than this new update. The toggle made it simple while this new update made everything more confusing! And then getting rid of the 3 try’s!! Like what?? So I am supposed to get through the entire game and then at the end be told I have 4 or 5 mistakes and then redo the entire level? No. It is a waste of time. Also to add the levels (before the useless update) would glitch out and make me redo a bunch of them. I was on level 60 on normal and I had to redo levels from 50! In all, this was a good game and very addicting. I didn’t even mind the ads because it was such a good game (until it had me redo levels). But now, with this update, it’s more confusing I am making more errors than before since I have to double tap and I’m not being told what I did wrong. I was slowly getting the pattern and the hang of it but now it’s like I’m wandering in the dark, blind to any lead. But in the end it WAS a pleasant game until more came
