Review of sudoku
I play the game in order to train my brain. The other app punished me for exploratory moves that would help me discover the patterns and strategies that are most conducive to success. To me, success is figuring out the puzzle. Success is NOT stopping the game because I lost a small number of chances to get it right. Fixing errors makes patterns for success more obvious and thus teaches me better.
Great sudoku app
I’ve played several of the popular sudoku apps and really like this one. Allows choice of difficulty, and numbers are easy to read whether they’re a solution or possible candidates, thanks to highlighting colors. Good for learners or veterans of the game. I’d recommend it.
Great Challenge
I wanted to learn a new brain game challenge Sudoku always seemed frustrating and more than I wanted to learn. One night I just decided I wanted to learn it because it is math related and math always gave me a challenge. I tried this app and have been challenged and enjoyed it ever sense!
No ads, yet
I’ve played on this site a few days and haven’t had any pop up ads... yet...so it is my favorite site for sure. I like the color, notes and highlights...helps from making the stupid mistake.
Adds
I’m 500 for 500 on the expert level. A shorter time is what I’m aiming for. Sometimes when I start a game it goes straight to an add and the time runs through the add. I actually start the game at 40 or so seconds into the game. Other than that it’s great.
Few if any ads - multi level
Finally a game I can play as long or as short as I want, as easy or hard as I want, and it doesn’t interrupt me continuously trying to sell me something. Thank you!
Big numbers are great
Love the big numbers. Especially helpful when using notes in a specific cell where the likely numbers are bold and easier to read!
Much better.
This be doesn’t eat up my battery and flash constant ads. The contrast of colors makes it a lot easier to see what number you are working with.
Sudoku
Is difficult to see the small numbers put in a square as notes, due to a deep blue color used. Wish players had an option to choose, say, a lighter color, for better contrast/visibility.
Easy on eyes
This game is well laid out for anyone with any deficit in their vision. The only improvement for me would be a more clear view of the letter board showing unused letter options
Well done
Font size and graphics are better than other apps. Mistakes in typing numbers occur very seldom. My only criticism is that the “notes” are difficult for this old person to read, since the gray numbers do not show up well on the blue background. I like the daily challenges. I would rate the difficulty of the puzzles as slightly easier than other sudoku apps. Overall, this is my sudoku app of choice.
New dark view is cool
I like the new dark view and would have given it a 5 except that the selection numbers across the bottom are barely visible in a lighted room during dark mode. I want to stay in dark mode all the time because those colors are easier on your eyes wether it’s dark or light in the room. Those numbers just need to be a tad brighter.
Not great changes
I was enjoying my sudoku app when it suddenly wouldn’t open and forced me to open the “new improved” version. While it may be easier to see, where are my old stats? Where is the pause button? Also the numbers being in two lines at the bottom is awkward and lead to mistakes because the numbers aren’t where they were in the old app. Not pleased.
Less functionality after update
I did the recent update to this app. There is now no feedback on my solve time versus other people. Also, the dark blue color used to highlight a square renders the notes unreadable. Finally, some of the advertisements are quite long.
