    Love this game!

I don’t often write reviews but felt I needed to for this game. I’ve been searching and searching for the perfect game and I’m so happy I found it. As a real life pro eventer, it’s cool to be able to play a game and have it be realistic for the most part. The scoring is more accurate than I typically see. But still slightly off but isn’t huge. I do wish if you scored better in shows you got more XP. I also wish there were more options. Like training that isn’t a show or some free riding. But also the exhibition rides are pretty similar to that so it’s not a huge issue. I also think breeding would be an awesome thing to do. As well as I wish the price you could sell your horse for could be higher depending on what they’ve done. There isn’t much I’d change. But just some of the little things.

I love this game so much, but it has problems.

I would just like to start by saying that I really love this game, and it entertains me for a long time! But I would like to suggest some features and report some bugs. My main issue with this game is that when you tack up your horse, you can choose between dressage, cross country and show jumping. Now don’t get me wrong, I love this new feature, but when you buy stuff from the shop, it sometimes only shows up in one discipline. Another bug is that sometimes after you jump, it jumps again when you didn’t press the jump button. My last bug is that I’ve found a way to unlock all the stables without reaching the appropriate level. I’m level 23 and could have all the staples, but don’t, as I think that’s cheating the game and I don’t like that. Now I have some suggestions for new features! I think you should add more horse coloration options. Like Appaloosa, pinto or paint, speckled, or anything like that. It would also be cool if you could breed with your horses, or a stud farm that you could go to and breed with one of your horses and one of theirs, or another player’s horse and yours... it would also be cool if there was a furniture shop and you could spruce up your stable with some new decorations or something like that!

I’ve been waiting for a game like this, however...

...there are several things that are buggy. Twice while doing the Land Rover event, the horse went way out out of the map and I was not able to return. This happened once during cross country and once during show jumping. It is really frustrating when you’re doing well in a event, and then you have to quit it because you can’t complete a phase. It is especially annoying when you purchased energy for that event. Also at times the rein control will crossover to the speed controls and it causes the player to mess up. The scoring system is weird because half of the competitors get a zero after dressage. It would be cool to add different tack for different phases like breastplates, martingales, and such. It would also be helpful if there was a way to do schooling that is not the exhibition for the different phases. More diversity in characters would be great as well. All in all, I really enjoy this game. As someone who has evented before, I appreciate how this game is so much more realistic than many others. It is so cool how Land Rover and Badminton are realistic!!! This one was actually made by horse people. It really is an awesome game. I can not wait to see what comes next!

Love this game! But a couple problems.

So I found this game, and I love horses it is so fun. I’ve played lots of horse games before and most of them I ended up deleting. This one game I did delete at one point, but missed it so much I got it back! One of the problems for me at least, When I downloaded the app the second time however, when you ride it makes me only able to click the button to jump and things, I can’t adjust the speed or use the reins to steer?! It doesn’t make sense because the first time I had the game it did not do that?!?!?! Back to the pros, you don’t need any horse experience to play this game. It has a lot of things that make this horse game a lot better than other horse games, very few ads. LITERALLY there is like no ads that is another reason I love the game! You can pick the name you want for you and for you’re horse, one problem with the name thing is I wrote in like 15 different names and it didn’t let me have any of them because the name was taken, so I think to make the game better they should really make it so you can have the same name as someone else. I like how there is different events. Love the game! Keep and improving!

    Lots of Potential!

I wish I could give this game 5 stars right now, but there’s quite a few things that I think need to be fixed before I could do that. The game is overall very fun to play, the graphics are awesome and I love being able to customize with realistic tack and clothing. The scoring system needs some work and is quite buggy, almost every other show I compete in every participant gets a score of zero and I’ll place last even if I win each event. The timing system for movements and jumps could also use some work, sometimes the jump or movement meter will not reach where it’s supposed to so it’s impossible to get a perfect jump. It’s also very hard to increase your horses’ stats - it’s really annoying that you can only care for your horse one time in between competitions and get only a few points in that skill, if it gives you any at all. Despite all of the bugs and minor annoyances, this is a great game that I will keep playing, and see a lot of potential for it!

    Amazing and entertaining!!! But...

I love this game so much and it is so fun to play. In real life, I take horse riding lessons and this game is so fun to play when you really want to ride a horse, but you may not be able to. I highly recommend it! There are just a few faults to the game. The first one is that the competitions are extremely hard. If you make one little mistake or miss one jump, you’ll get a bad score. And even if you do everything correctly with no mistakes, it is really hard to get a good score. The second thing is that it is extremely hard to get golden horseshoes. You have to get a good score in a competition, and, like I said, competitions are not easy. If you want a certain horse or something like that, it is hard to get because you need enough golden horseshoes. Those are all of the faults to the game that I’ve had so far, but otherwise, an amazing, really realistic, and entertaining game. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you should!

Amazing eventing game with amazing possibilities!

As an equestrian myself I love this game! It got me into eventing and it really shows the good side of equestrian sports. The game is a great challenge with different competitions. I love the colors, graphics as it’s well made. However I have found some bugs and issues I’d like to be fixed or things I think you should add into the game. I use a phone to play and even though with a small screen I can play, however the reins are bugged and during a jump my horse can slow down ruining scores. I also found sometimes after a rewarding ad during training it can glitch out and not give the reward of less training time. Now for the ideas. I love the horses, the animation is amazing, and coat.. well they’re too similar, I’d love to see more diverse coats and horse shapes. I want the Arabians cheek bones and tail to show off like they do in real life. Having the same horse model can easily get boring. With the exception of non golden horse shoe bought horses: to breed horses. It’s be nice to have more different horses mixing breeds to get better stats. Interactive training would be fun! You can train the horse while you wait for their training time. Of course you can exit out of this but I think it’d be fun. Please add more free play courses, jumps, stamina and movements to. This game is amazing, I love it so much. I recommend all horse players to play this game!

    Would give 5 stars BUT....

This game is so fun and entertaining. It’s almost perfect. Here are the things that I think should be fixed/upgraded! (Seeing how the game literally just came in the App Store it’s pretty good! This is just future suggestions!) 1. When the horse is in any gait it’s pretty unrealistic, same as the rider. Instead of long, graceful strides, there short and seemed forced. 2. When I’m in any competition the gait is immediately in a gallop and sometimes, no matter how many times I press the ‘slow down’ button, it continues to gallop. This makes it difficult especially in the dressage competitions. 3. Why can’t I name my own horse? It’s pretty annoying when I hate the name Tanner and I want my horses name to be Chariot. 4. When I train my horse it takes so long for the wait. At first it starts off short times but as you progress it takes like 3 hours. 5. There isn’t much energy when your doing big competitions. That’s all the game is overall good since it’s pretty new. Keep up the good work! Edit: I’ve been playing the game for a little longer and it’s great! The only thing I would recommend is maybe free riding like, you get to ride freely not JUST doing jumping and dressage. I would also suggest breeding? I know the game doesn’t specify whether the horse is a stallion or a mare but I think it would be a great and fun new add on to the game!

This Game Is The Best ^^

To start off, you did amazing on this game! Both the graphics and quality are great and make the game that many times better. It also clearly entertains many and entertains me as well! However, even if the game is this good I do have lags showing up. I’m not aware if this has happened to others. The lag showing is my tack; If I’m in a show jumping arena it shows up with two different saddles and two completely different saddle pads. This also happens with hair pieces, bridles, etc. Sometimes I question if I need to logout and just login again but that clearly hasn’t worked for me. I hope I made myself clear! I have only one suggestion for you that I personally think it would make your game so much better. Horse trails perhaps? Or even being able to walk your horse? If you find these suggestions are no help to the game don’t feel pressured!! Thank you! ❤️

Love the game but it’s definitely buggy

I understand the game is new but it’s pretty buggy. I love the concept and I can’t wait to see future updates because this game definitely has potential. I would give it more stars but I’m getting pretty annoyed at a lot of the bugs that I’ve come across. The one that has annoyed me the most is how buggy the teams seem to be. I spent gold horseshoes to create a team and within a day my team just disappeared like I never created it. Also while I had the team although myself and teammates were earning “team points” we were still at zero? Not quite sure how that works. I definitely want to create that team again... but maybe I’ll wait until a patch/update comes out so I don’t end up wasting 50 gold horseshoes to do it. The controls are a bit clunky but I like the lay out. It’s really hard to do well consistently as the timing aspect, timed arrows, doesn’t seem to have much affect on whether you get a perfect jump or not. As soon as you think you figured it out you end up failing or getting “good” jumps. Also the gaits could use a little work but for a mobile game they’re not bad at all. Overall I’m pretty happy with the game and all the potential it has. It definitely needs to be polished up but once the bugs are fixed and the game is smoothed out a bit I think it will be one of the best mobile horse games available. It’s just a diamond in the rough right now.

Good to see another horse app game

This was a surprise to see on the App Store! It’s definitely a good start for a quality horse app game. I wanted to give it 5 stars (Horse enthusiast and rider here!) but found the game lacking in a few areas. Of course, I know that’s to be expected since the game only just released. Currently steering the horse is incredibly clonky, at times it’s like controlling a whale, honestly. Whether it’s something to do with the training or what it’s just unwieldy at times particularly in dressage or when the horse decides it no longer wants to run straight in cross country. The brushing mini game is a bit strange at times because you can’t tell where the dirt is once the horse is mostly clean and it ends up with an angry horse when you brush the wrong places. Outside of that I know the game can only grow from here on and out but here’s some suggestions! The ability to name our horses would be great with defined genders of stallions/mares. In addition, what’s a horse game without the addition of breeding horses and raising your next champion produced from your own horses (look to Rival Stars Horse Racing!) Sorry for the long review but hey if you’re reading this at all, kudos to the beginnings of an awesome game!

    Amazing, but needs more features!

Overall this game is great! I love that you can do horse shows and get scores as well, although the game is great there definitely are some bugs and updates i’d love to see happen! In one of the previous updates you can choose from different tack stores in real life on the game, and buy tack. This is a great feature but i will recommend a few more popular tack shops: Lemieux, Dover Saddlery, Ariat, etc. Also you should fix the update where you are able to choose Dressage, cross country, and show jumping tack, i feel it would be more appeasing to me if you had all your tack in one place for any disciple. I think you should add different breeds of horses and different coats such as: Pinto, appaloosa, Paint, Dapple, Birdcatcher Spots, etc. And Arabian, Quarter horse, thoroughbred, Welsh Pony, Cobs, etc. Maybe add some more disciples such as western events and stuff like that! Maybe add a free play where you’d be able to ride your horse in open fields with maybe some jumps and stuff. Overall i love this game it’s so addicting and fun! Keep up the good work !

Pretty awesome game, but could use improvements.

It is fun and quite versatile. There are numerous events offered. Especially with it including dressage, cross country and show jumping. However, the tutorial could use improvement. It is a bit of a learning curve and doesn’t describe or demonstrate well how to play the game. I figured it out, but a kid playing would likely get frustrated and give up. The other points that could use improvement begin with the lack of customization. You seem to have to purchase it all with real money. The leveling rewards are next to none, offering basically no options. My last complaint is that you don’t seem to be grouped with players or horses in the same level as yours at events. I am multiple trainings in and even when galloping most of a course, my horse doesn’t get under the speed currently. However, despite these flaws, the main screen and interface are good, the design and graphics are amazing, and the care options are quite easy. It’s a fun little game, just lacking.

    Okay Game

It’s very unclear about how to raise a horse’s stats. I’ve sent my horse to training countless times and the training time just keeps stacking up, but my horse never seems improved afterward. I had to leave in the middle of a grand prix and it told me my horse’s condition would deteriorate. I figured I’d just give it extra care and it would be okay. Nope! The condition is all the way down, and I can’t get it up. Whenever I care for it, the condition lowers more. I cared for its hooves and the agility plummeted. I have no idea what to do now. It’s ridiculous that leaving a game causes the horse’s condition to be destroyed. Sometimes people have to leave games. Isnt it enough of a punishment that I just wasted my energy? Not to mention all the bugs. I’ve been in so many games where it won’t register that I’m trying to speed up my horse or it’ll lag on my jumps. I know I’m not the best at the game and some of it’s my fault. But there’s definitely a lot of times that it just bugs out and won’t register what I’m doing. Was fun for the first few levels. Don’t know if I’ll keep playing since my horse’s condition is stuck on poor indefinitely.
