Developer’s preface

Hey what’s up!

We are a tiny team consist of two people and a little daughter.

Our goal is to make our politicians do more work instead of mere talking.

At the same time, it’s also our purpose to show everyone that being a candidate is difficult. It’s never easy to find a balance point among everyone.

Here, you will realize that every politician has their own strengths and weaknesses. That’s why it's never enough to count on one single person to change our country, or even the world.

I believe, this is the time when everyone can influence people by changing themselves first, especially when you are in the position of a president; You could see better and do more.

And it can all start from you!

It took us months to finish Hey! Mr. President, but there are so much more to be done. We will be adding more stuff here and there in the near future. I hope you would come by and check out what’s new and what’s cool. We will be moving forward with all of you guys.

We simply wish to make our country great and the world a better place.

    Great game, great concept!

Your game studio is very unique in both style and concept, I like it! It addresses real world problems and shows how hard it actually is to be a president. I’ve played three runs so far and it actually is pretty hard! I could tell that you guys worked super hard on this. Thing is though I don’t really like the energy part, but it does encourage to support you guys and it also keeps you from binge playing. I also like the personal message that you guys put on there too! Definitely not deleting this app! Thanks guys!

I Can’t Believe Two Programmers And A Dedicated Daughter Built This

If I was told a small studio built this game, I would’ve believed it. The amount of title cards, events, and thought poured into this justifies a small studio putting their all into this. To learn that two programmers and their daughter are responsible for such a solid game with this much emphasis on the nitty-gritty of political campaigns, well, it’s astounding. I appreciate the work you have and are putting into this, and I look forward to seeing what you’ll do with the rest of your bright careers.

    Hi!

I absolutely love this game. I have had it since the day it came out and I can’t put it down. I would get the upgrade thing but I need to pay for my more important stuff. Thanks so much for making politics not a terrible part of my life. 5 Stars! Please get this game even if you hate politics, you won’t regret it!

Really fun game and an awesome developer

I really enjoy this game a lot. It’s really fun and helps to give me a new perspective on politics. But I think where it shines the most is the developer. They don’t charge you to disable ads, there are in game goals to disable ads. The goals are also very manageable. TL;DR; This is a very fun game with a very thoughtful developer

    New characters

Please don’t make new characters cost money because variety is what makes this game fun. also you need to add more on the right, like kayne west (Black Jesus?). Also just an idea, I think it would be really cool if you could play as characters from the past, yet still in modern elections. Like Ronald Reagan, FDR, or Abe lincoln!

    Honestly fantastic fun!

I absolutely love this game and I want to see it thrive! I’m looking forward to seeing more candidates from the same and different parties join the game! Thank you so much for making this game! Definitely need Jorgenson as a character! Thank you again!

Good game but misrepresents the right’s views

I love the unique concept of making a competitive quick to play competitive political game. Very fun and refreshing idea. However, I do feel like the Right’s views are misrepresented by the possible responses to reporters. For example, “Mr. President, under the democratic system, do you think the majority-rule principle makes sense?” I’m not gonna copy all of the responses but they were a simplified democratic view, a nuanced democratic view, and a crazy authoritarian view. This paints all Republicans as crazy authoritarian’s. A response that would’ve been more representative of Republican views could be how it’s set up that way because the federal government can’t tell states how to cast their vote. Perhaps straw-manning Republicans was your objective in your app which I guess is fair enough. But if you want to appeal both parties I suggest changing the ‘other side’s’ responses.

    Great Game but....

I love the game, the mechanics are good. And I like how you have to do a different play style with every candidate to get them to win. The only issue I have come across is the wait time. I think the wait time is way to long. 4 hours for 3 tries is a little long. I think you should make it 2 hours or so but not 4. I get you have to make money but I don’t have the money to spend to get unlimited plays. Other then that amazing game keep up the good work

    Fun game

This is a really fun game that takes complicated issues and puts in the realm of normal people I can see that this game was made with dedication but I have one suggestion to increase the play limit to 5 instead of 3 because sure it reloads often but I won’t be able to capitalize on it because this a very quick and casual game that you play between work so you probably won’t comeback too often

    Review

This game is really well made but i have just 1 complaint. I really dont like the power system because i want to play for a longer time then just a few times then wait a while. If they could remove this for people who dont pay sometime in the future it will overall be better for everyone.

  • By Boorahsweet

Why the power system is weird to me

I love the game if I was told 10-20 people I would believe them the only bad part is the power system I never got that in mobile games like don’t you want people to play it or is it so people buy the power any way it’s weird and I want it explained by a dev but other than that it’s perfect

    Great Game!

It’s really good considering how it was made by only 2 people. I’m putting 4 stars because I keep getting skippable ads that are not really skippable because the “X” is almost completely hidden at the top left corner (on an iPhone XS). Aside from that, no complaints! I’ll see if I can change my rating once they fix the ads. Great job devs!

Great game other than the obvious rigging

This is a fun game to play. I think most of the people making political complaints are just plain dumb, but there’s a legitimate issue with this game. Anytime I bet over 100 tickets on the lottery wheel, I lose my bet. Every. Single. Time. It is blatantly rigged. I have now bet 200+ tickets 8 different times, and every time I landed on the one that takes your bet and gives you nothing. If it’s gonna be rigged, at least do it in a way that I can’t tell?

    Designed to promote socialism

The game is very obviously designed to promote socialism, the only way to win is by popularity, and to gain popularity the only way to do that is offer everything free despite the fact that its not realistic (taxes come from the people, not from an imaginary endless source). If you choose republican policies, you cannot win. Every republican policy gains you money (which essentially holds no value in the game), every liberal policy gains you votes, every independent/libertarian policy gets you a small amount of both. Only way to win is to pick the most extreme left wing policies possible, the money won’t matter because they make it almost impossible to spend that much.
