    New level everything!

This is an amazing game, full of things I wanted. I love the design on the troops and heroes. But I wish you can make more update and add more stuff in. I would love love to see new troop level and new design on clothing for the troops. Would love to add more heroes on defend in defend mode because we only get to put two hero. I wish we can put more. I wish there could be more setting or more that we can defend. I would like the wall to reach level 200 and make it more amazing then before. I wish there could be more level for the archer maybe 150 levels. Add new feature in and it would be more more amazing. I beg you to create a new troops! It would make me happy and maybe others too. I wish there could be more troop number then just 8 troop max. I wish it could go to 12 troop maximum. It would make it look more like a real army a big one also. I love EVERTHING about this game but I hope there could be some new things and I am so excited to see the new update which I am looking forward to, really I do. Thank you so much for creating such an fun offline game. If you read this it would be an honer that you read my review. And again a BIG THANK YOU for making it fun and making it amazing. I would love to see more or this game in the future. Thank you, and you have yourself a nice day:)

    New Hero’s, New factions!

So I was thinking that since it’s about Rome there should be Roman Hero’s. Yes I know there’s some Roman hero’s but I mean like a hero that would be the Emperor which would be able to get after the level 150 and then with the Emperor Hero it would give the soldiers a better hit. I was also thinking that maybe at level 200 it could be like a Final boss battle. It would be like where you defeat a huge army then there Emperor comes in and your Hero would fight him, if your hero would die your soldiers would rub outside and kill him. When you kill him you would get more troops and there would be a faction button where you can go to there faction or return to the Roman faction without losing any data of the factions. In different Factions there would be different Game passes where it could like give you a hero from that faction so you would get 2x the cash. I would love to see this update one day and I hope your development team works as hard as you’d like them to. Thank you developers for reading this and I’d be glad if you add this as a update! Love, RedWolves60 (It’s my Roblox name)

    Hello

I have a suggestion for a future update. Yes I know I have written a suggestion before but I have come up with something new. My suggestion is that maybe in a future update you could add a feature where you could add another slot for a hero in the home area. What I mean is that since you could only use two heroes at a time I think there should be a feature where you can have more. But thinking game wise I think maybe to get another hero slot in the home area you should pay at least 100 gems for each new slot. And also another suggestion is that is maybe you could add another civilization or two for the new players who don’t want to play as Rome, and this way maybe there could be a pvp feature where when someone else is searching for someone else to pvp with. And also for this feature maybe we can use our army that we use the raid map thing. Once again this is just a suggestion.

    An actual good Mobile Game

These are one of those rare, very special, actually fun mobile games. While you can summarise it as a sort of 2D tower defence in some way, its much more complex than that. You’ll spend most of your time defending waves and upgrading defences, such as units, your wall strength, heroes, archers, towers, etc. But there are also sieges you can participate in which will give you more rewards. There’s also mini games on top of that to unlock special heroes and other cool rewards. And on top of that there’s also a rebellion map that gives even more rewards and is even more challenging. Overall the game just rewards, rewards, and rewards (Almost overwhelmingly so). Best part about it is you don’t have to spend any money at all, unlock some other mobile games that make ludicrously long times for stuff, forcing you to use real money. That’s not the case in this game, everything is almost instant and you can become super powerful very quickly without spending a dime. There are some paid micro transactions that are optional, some cool heroes you can buy, but nothing that’ll actually give you a huge bonus in the game, all that has to be actually earned through time. I give it a five star because it’s one of those rare mobile games that are actually good and I appreciate it for that. Very fun to play while waiting or on the go too and very easy to understand.

Amazing game add a few things maybe

I really like this game. It’s great. I was just wondering if the dev team could make it so like every 100 waves or something it’s a huge boss battle with some elephants and a Ton of fighters, and then add in a commander or something. Could be cool, this games fun, there’s not overpriced stuff, and you can still be a pro without spending money, so it’s not a pay to win kinda thing. I can’t really think of anything to dislike this game other than the fact that I wish you could make your people look a little different with costumes, but you can buy it with coins, not money tho, but maybe you can buy the COINS with money. Just plz dev really consider this I think it’s a good add to the game. Great game. Also I want multiplayer to be on teams and against other ppl

    My Honest Opinion

Okay, for starters I want to say great work to the developer(s) for creating an absolutely great game. I have been playing the game for about an hour and I am already super pleased with the game. I love the fact that ads are not popping up after every other wave and that you have the option to watch an ad for extra coins without it being shoved down your throat. The graphics are pretty good! I would like to see better unit models in the future if that is possible. I’ve been looking for a game on the App Store for a while now and I haven’t been able to find a fun and challenging game until now! Great Work dev(s) keep it up! You’re bringing a new standard to the AppStore! 🔥

    Absolutely adore this game.

This game is great and it’s not too much of a grind, in just about a week I’ve gotten Legionary soldiers and so on. I would love to see more games like this, perhaps a Grow Empire: blank series of games. For instance, Greece, Egypt, Mother Russia (you Slav you lose), Germany and other powerful nations. One problem however. The archer mini game. It’s good and easy at the begging but when it comes to the Gaulish battering ram it’s almost impossible. If there was only one shield bearer in front of it it would be more manageable but as of now there are two. And the game doesn’t register some of my shots hitting the red marks even though they’re right on target. It’s just something to look at.

    To the creators

This is a fun game but it would be even better if they made it so you can build and train your troops then attack with them and not just click on them and it trains like 5 and you only defend. The graphics for this game are very good for being on a phone but you should have made it more like age of empire where you can train a large group of troops depending on the size of your city. I wish I knew how to make a game because I’d design one like this and age of empire mixed and I bet it would be a hit. I would allow pvp battles like clash of clans and you’d be able to spend money to purchase stuff to upgrade so I’d make money obviously but I’d also have ads because the game like that would have a huge amount of players. You wouldn’t be able to attack players that are below you I’d say like 4-5 lvls below you because people hate that. Also those who spend money to be the best would be paired up with people like them to make battles fair. If you can make a game like that I’d like a peace of the pie for the idea because I bet it would be a huge hit. If interested and wanting to talk more about it and my ideas let me know thanks

    Fun game

This game is extremely fun! Although I’ve only been playing for a couple days... seems to be a balanced game. Offline time is covered by the “Bank” which can be upgraded with gems. Your heroes can be upgraded and when that happens, you can actually spawn more units! Gems aren’t terribly hard to come by as you also have the ability to defend which rewards gems. The campaign progressively gets more difficult, as does conquering more territory. So don’t forget to upgrade your troops! I wish there were some kind of ingame guide/encyclopedia. I have questions that I disdain having to go off site to investigate via a 3rd party like wiki. There’s very little information about mercenaries for example! I sometimes start to use an active skill, then decide it isn’t the best time to use it, is there a way to cancel without using it? (I haven’t found a way yet). Suggestion: when one activated a skill, the icon should still appear, and it should say “cancel” in the icon if you decide to NOT use that skill. The cool down times are a killer at low levels 😅

Super fun! But be ready to spend money if you want to win

Honestly this is one of my all time favorite games I’ve ever played! There are enough different gameplay areas (defense, conquering, and defending conquered cities) to keep it exciting. However. I am well over Wave 500 and have my units almost 100% upgraded, and have 65% of the map conquered but without spending a ridiculous amount of actual money there is almost no way to win. Skirmishers are giving high firepower which is fine but why are they given so many hitpoints? Historically speaking skirmishers are light duty troops with low armor. A full cavalry charge should 10/10 times be able to break them. If a city you are attacking, especially the high level Carthaginian cities are fully manned by skirmishers it is pretty much impossible to conquer, even if I spent $100 on diamonds/gems and fully upgraded each hero. Overall an awesome game that could be better with a few tweaks, seems to be almost based on Rome: Total War for PC.

    Add-Ons

I really do enjoy the game and the historical accuracy, but it’s been the same map since I downloaded the game over a year ago. With all cities conquered and almost all rebellions squashed, I would like to see an extension to the map to continue conquering other territories that were conquered by the Roman Empire. Areas such as all of the North African Coast down to Ethiopia, all of Southern Europe, majority of Western Europe and Central Europe, most of Britain, much of southwestern Asia, and the Middle East, there are a lot of other historical civilizations to fight conquering those lands, plus the ability to add more units or even increase some battles to as many as 5 waves of attack. The game is very enjoyable to play as is, but I’d like to see more added since players that have completed the game have really nothing left to do.

So far, great game! Edit 1

I really enjoy this game so far, and it looks like there is still a ton of content to look forward to. Spending money seems like something you can do but don’t have to, and in a game that doesn’t push so hard to make you spend makes me want to. Anyways, it’s been pretty great so far and hopefully it gets even better! PvP would be cool, but I love how I can play this offline (most games now you can’t). Good job to the devs and hope it continues to grow! That was the first review. Now, I’m having some issues. There is no way to know what level wall gives you what, and the levels seem to max out randomly in different areas. I seem to have a bug where my skirmishers stop attacking and just sit there (only on invasion so far) and it’s a little disappointing you can only use 2 heroes to defend with. It’s still a good game but hopefully these are fixed. I know nobody will see this but I thought I would just say it (invasion lvl 73 if that helps) in case. Also EXP should come a bit faster, or better yet you should get a few more than 3 points each time (it could slowly increase per lvl, for example).

    Good but repetitive

The game is really fun. But leveling up your troops does very little unless you level up 4-5 times. Otherwise the enemy troops will still win. There is a mini game where you can earn rewards by becoming an archer and trying to beat waves of troops alone. This is very difficult after you unlock the first hero, because the enemies get stronger and you do not. It may take two to three arrows to kill one soldier and by that time there are more behind him. This make the game frustrating because the higher level enemies, the less likely you are to be able to win. I have played the same level to earn a second hero more times than I care to count, and have yet to win. It’s very frustrating because the troops are higher levels but my archer still does the same damage. The game itself is a lot of fun but once you pass wave 100, the game becomes very repetitive and can get boring the further you go. The waves end up being the same over and over again. And the cities you attack end up just getting harder with no real improvements other than troop health.

    Meh

Alright, so, I’ve been playing this game for years now, but it’s getting annoying. So, my first complaint are the invasions. I’m tired of trying to invade Carthage with Etruscan mercenaries with 5 hp, just for them to get melted. I think that there should be more Roman Cohorts to prevent this. And yes, I know, I can just upgrade the commanders. But why would I want to spend all my gems on commanders. It takes ages to get those gems, unless you pay for them. Also, the mercenaries are not accurate. The romans rarely ever used mercenaries. They usually recruited local auxiliaries, giving them Roman training and Roman equipment. Unlike the romans, however, the carthaginians used mercenaries for the majority of their army. And what do we see them doing? Oh yeah, all carthaginians. And also, you know how we can have our commanders out in the front with 2 cohorts? Why do we get 2, but the enemies get 6? It makes absolutely no sense. We should have 6 slots for mercenaries, or actually, full cohorts. But seriously, I’m getting tired of trying to destroy the 6 Carthaginian cohorts at the front, just to waste 1 and a half waves of troops on it, just for some more guys to come out and melt the rest of my army. And last thing, they need to decrease the unit cool down time for ROMANS ONLY. If the enemy can have 6 cohorts in the front, we deserve to send out 4 cohorts. Alright, I hope this can get fixed. I don’t want to pay to win.
