    Much better now

The game has great visuals of landscapes and trains and it is super fun to build different cities. My big problem with the game is that once you get to around level 20 it just takes so long. Whenever you save enough keys for a new train it seems to never be a good one. To me it just seems like one of those games tou have to keep paying money just to make decent progress at. To me there are also just way to many different screens and options you need to go though, I would like a much simpler, fast paced game that doesn’t require payment to get ahead. Just too many options and random things you need to do that take way too long for such a small payoff. Update: Not sure if they updated it but I seem to level up a lot faster now and the gameplay seems smoother. I wish there weren’t so many ads or micro purchases, but that’s every game right now. Much better game and I would recommend playing if you like trains and are looking for a casual game. I do wish the options purchases weren’t so expensive.

Best Train game on the App Store

I want to start off by saying this is the best train game on the app store. The graphics are beautiful and the train models are top notch! I have been playing for several weeks so I could write an honest review and you all have created a wonderful train game! I can’t get enough of it. The only things I think could make it better are these. I would love to be able to hear more of the “cugga cugga cugga” sound of the steam trains when you zoom in on them just to add to the realism of the steam trains along with the sound of the wheels. I also think it would be cool if the trains sounded their wistle in the overworld when leaving a station or material area. Also since we get to watch out trains go around a beautifully crafted world while they pick up or deliver , I think adding a weather cycle with rain, thunderstorms, snow. etc would make the world even more vibrant and active. Just a few thought from a train game lover! Thanks again for developing such a great game!

    Awesome game!

This is a great game! Graphics are awesome and it’s a lot of fun being able to collect many different trains and complete tasks. The events make the game more fun. The best part is being able to collect unique trains. The game is well balanced and there is a lot to work towards so there is always something to do. The game can be played at your own pace and it’s easy to understand. Only suggestion is for the events or competitions is the start times. They are always starting while I’m asleep. Early morning start times. This gives an advantage to others playing in different times zones if the event starts when they are awake. A suggestion would be to randomize the start times of rotate through different time zones to make it more fair so that others do not get a head start. Other than that this game is a lot of fun to play. Great job and highly recommend.

    Best Train Game Ever😃👍🏻🚅

This game is the best out of all of the games I’ve played. I love the events, trains, worlds, and such, but there is only 3 things I wanted you to fix. -Some trains are not in the right countries. Usually, I see the UP Big Boy or ATSF 3000 in Germany, but I think there is a weird thing about this. What’s weird you may ask? People don’t naturally see The Genesis Passenger Train or the UP Big Boy in Germany. What I wanted to do is to put the trains in the right countries (It’s OKAY if you don’t want to). -High Prices for The Best Trains There is one problem in the game. I really wanted the legendary container in the daily offers, but the HARD thing is that the prices are too high. I wanted to make some discounts. If it was Black Friday, Christmas or such, you can make shop events. For an example, you can make a “25 Days of Train Station 2”, where people choose ONE gift each day, and get a prize, while on the other days, the players can get the other presents until December 26 (Because that is when Christmas). But, with the GEMS, you can make HALF of the amount on holidays. -Last results This game always makes me happy when I’m playing on my phone or IPad. It is just super darn simple! You just tap and wait. This game should deserve to be the “2020 Train Game of the Year”! THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!

    Train station 2

In my opinion this game is really good, there are many aspects of the game that make it fun like balancing resources or choosing which projects to complete first so that other projects are made easier. I love the upgrading mechanics so that you can have bigger trains and have more trains out simultaneously. The only drawback for me is that after Britain you don’t really develop the land much. I loved the Britain level because you could see all the changes you made, you made new tracks, gained access to new resources built bridges and developed the country with things like the farm and port. However when I arrived in Germany it was completely different, all the train lines were already built for you and all of the resources (except timber) were already there, you had no effect on the countryside and did not develop the lines. I am currently 75% through Germany and nothing has changed since the start. Something that would help me continue to play the game would be more levels like Britain and less like Germany but overall it is a great game and the time limited events are always a nice challenge and difference from the rest of the game!

Good game, but has some bad stuff

First of all, great game. Secondly, there is something annoying. I think the time of how long a trip for your train is, is should be based on how far they go. In other words, I think that trains should just go to their destination, pick up or drop off whatever they need to do, and come back. No loops. Those are annoying. I also think to upgrade trains, you should only need the quality parts of your train, no others. If you can fix that, you should make a second game like this, except that you use trucks or ships INSTED of trains. Other than that, it’s great! I agree with the review that talked about the sound affects and the weather. Those would be pretty cool to. And if you take this all into consideration and update it, can you add in train racing, where you can either enter a train to race someone else or an NPC, or you can watch train races, and gamble on which train you think will win! That would be pretty cool, to! And a day-night cycle would be AWSOME. I’m not trying to be really mean. I’m just saying, the game could be improved.

    Fun but competition needs fixed

While the game is fun and events keep you busy, my biggest issue is competitions in the events. After mid level 20 and up, the players you are placed in the event with, the top 4-5 I can rarely compete with as they gain exp points at such a fast rate, I’m pretty sure they must use gems to gain so quickly as catching them by playing without speeding things up with gems is impossible. I do spend the $3.99 for xtra dispatchers and still can achieve 5th-6th place if I’m lucky. It just baffles me why spend so many gems for first place and 350 tokens to gain 1000 to buy a legendary train when you can just purchase the train from offers in game? So that portion of the game is discouraging and I feel needs attention from developers to make fair for all. I just ignore that portion of the event and work on other things now as the players with the gems can battle it out for 1st and 350 tokens.

ADS TO MUCH!!! PLEASE READ PARENTS.

I’m a parent my son likes this game soooooo much and I watched him play with your game and any-way stupid crap adds started to pop up with: girls half naked/ and stupid zombie 🧟‍♂️ killing adds I’m tried of it it’s just so stupid and not fit for 4-year old kids he has nightmares about the dumb adds 1 time we were down at the beach in a house 🏠 and my son kept waking me up because of the dumb adds I can’t do it anymore but I did promise him he could keep the app. And I have seen him play other game with some-kind of add blocker you should REALLY add that to the game because if other parents/people/kids saw this I’m sure they would like to get that add-blocker thingy so PLEASE add that and I’d think 💭 this game proper age to play it should be: 10-year old but overall I like the game it’s kinda cool 😎 with the different types of trains 🚂 overall the part I don’t like are the STUPID ADDS! And Why did you put: 4 for a proper age it should be 10 and it’s kinda hard and confusing and unstable. And please add that add-blocker thingy I got that in other games for. my son got but have a nice day and a VERY nice thanksgiving weekends and bye! Sincerely, AJ Ziegler

    Kind of confusing and unstable

I have played this game for a few hours over a few days. Once you get the hang of it the game can be fun...for awhile. There is not much to this game. Game is just a load and unload (pick up/deliver) type game play. Not really a true train game. No choice of engines or train cars. They are given out randomly. Tracks are already in place so no game play there. I can only play the game for short periods because of boredom and with few trains to use it gets old fast. I very seldom spend money on games because I don’t play much. However if you spend real money on this game it may keep your interest a bit longer...maybe. Also if they added something similar to “Bit City” to this game it would be many many times better then ether of them. It wouldn’t add any more strategy but would add more interest. It crashes out (exits) a lot. This seems to be an ongoing problem that isn’t being addressed or it can’t be fixed. I haven’t lost anything but seems it closes out so often that its unplayable at times. Game needs more work and a better strategy for longer interest in playing.

    It WAS a good game

Everything starts out good, able to obtain everything with relative ease. An actual good game. Everything looks good and set up good. Loads of promises haven’t been kept yet. After unlocking region after region, once you get to the 4/5th one, it starts getting super hard to the point of sheer luck of getting all the trains so you don’t have to spend real money on this app. I’m on the 6th region, and I still have trains in region 4 not upgraded, cuz you cant earn enough materials and coins to upgrade them all. Good luck winning any completions, the winners are usually the people who spend money in game (like any cash grab game). Once you unlock the 6th region, it comes unplayable. You go from, let’s say, 10 mission for 200 or less in region 5, to half that. I’m getting 4 keys per mission, yet the cost doesn’t change. So it forces you to spend money in order to unlock everything or even upgrade everything. Looking at the reviews, this issue has been very prevalent, yet nothing has changed for a year at this point.

Nice if you mostly like watching trains go around

This game is the best train game I've tried, but it has all the same giant flaws of most mobile games. 1. The tutorial mode goes on way too long, with a colossally annoying man and giant pointing finger blocking me from actually paying. I don't know what age group they are targeting here or if they just think we are all dumb as posts, but this has goes on for way too many levels. 2. The game itself is entirely pointless. There are no win conditions and seemingly no end point. We are asked to fill order after order for character after character. Filling the order doesn't make them go away, they just pop back up asking for more. For me, the minor achievement of finally finishing the characters last order is immediately squashed when he or another character just pops up in another place with another long list of orders. Bottom line - if you are trying this because you loved Railroad Tycoon on PC, you will be disappointed. It isn't at all freeform like that. We don't get to build track or place stations or decide where to deliver what. Time for a delivery is fixed for each destination, regardless of which locomotive we use. Trains will carry cargo only one direction and either go out or come back empty. We are just filling orders from a job board list. The transport could just as well have been ships or helicopters or trucks or mules.

    Great game!…. But !

Beautiful graphics! Fun to play. I really enjoy wasting some free time managing my railroad! The use of advertising videos is clever….But a few things I see that are going to quickly end my short turn obsession. The contracts jump from 30 sec to a minute and then boom everything is an hour! It’s kinda point let at this point because I can play for a about 5 seconds when I dispatch my next three trains to only complete half a contract! So the progress is annoyingly slow! The other issue I have is the trains need to be able to be bough by choice not just random selection, I keep getting the same engines and it costly to upgrade so I scrap them trying to upgrade the few good trains I rarely won! Why don’t you make it so as you upgrade trains you can double head them and speed up contract times, at least that gives you more of chance to move along in the game and make the cost of upgrading trains worth it! Anyways, my two cents

Call this game “Try Again Later “

That is because hundreds of times a day you will get the message “Sorry, no Video available, please try again later.” Reading that is by far the activity that I have experienced the most. In this game, you are constantly competing against 19 other people to see who can deliver the most resources with your trains. I was playing regularly for months, and usually finishing in the top three without spending any money. Then I bought a $15 event pack to get extra rewards in an event. I never finished above 5th again, and started getting worse results in every contest. About a month after I made the mistake of spending money, my game was back to normal and I started winning again, almost always finishing in the top 3 again. There are about 2 contests per week. The game is more fun at lower levels. Once you get to level 100, you start having to jump through ridiculous hoops to complete deliveries. Play for a while at low levels, than switch to a better game. Example: I just “won” a two day competition, taking 1st place out of 20 competitors. My prize was 86 elite locomotive parts. It takes 118 elite parts and 642 common parts to upgrade my elite locomotive from level 34 to level 35 out of 60, so that prize was minimal. It was as if the first prize for winning the Boston Marathon was a plastic water bottle. Also, after you have been playing for a while, about 50% of the game that error message.

    Not particularly enjoyable

This game falls into the classic phone game trap where it’s literally just a waste of your time. You collect trains that have different carry capacities and ranks (grey, blue, purple, or gold tier) the incentive is to collect trains and use them to gather materials to complete jobs for experience and in game currencies.. It takes almost always 1 hour to complete any job and you only have a few number of “dispatchers” to send out trains.. so you end up turning the game on, sending out 3 or 4 trains and exiting for an hour. Wash, rinse, repeat... The really sad thing about this game is that they host weekly events. Which is basically who can play the game every hour on the hour and collect the most points. I got first place in the event and I barely got anything. Game is a joke. Would be nice if at the very least they modeled the trains after real ones and if the trains came with a description or something. Maybe teach people something about trains instead of just completely wasting their time and possibly money if you’re one of those knuckleheads that actually pays for phone games lol.
