I saw an ad for this game, and I figured it would be bombarded with more ads on the game itself. I decided to download it anyways, and I was very pleased! I got an ad when I completed a chapter, which was fair. It’s one of the best free word games in my opinion. It’s only flaw for me would be that it has some of the exact same levels/word combinations as other games. It isn’t too noticeable, but since I play multiple games, I saw that they all had some of the same levels. This didn’t change my experience, so five stars! ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️

As seen in several reviews this level is frozen after you get the extra word. I have tried several times to fix it but am afraid to delete the app due to my iPad stating if I delete the app all the data will also be deleted. I would think that this level would get fixed seeing that several others have had the same issue. Fun game but it seems to be over for me now. Please try and fix this for others before they also get stuck on this level.

I really enjoyed playing this game but when it started getting into the higher levels (300’s-400’s) I found an annoying number of words for which there are no definitions… Either in the games dictionary or in any online. These may be words in another language but no resource I can find recognizes them. Unfortunately, I have not been writing down the words that fall under this category, although I will from now on. It’s quite frustrating to struggle through hints to finally complete a word and have the game dictionary tell me oops, we can’t find a definition for that word. Until I started finding these it would’ve been a five star review. Had to take off a star for what I consider cheating On the part of the game. Is this just a way to get us to buy more coins so we can get more hints?

I really, really tried to like this game. I have played most of the word-centric games available in the App Store and this game has some nice features and works relatively well. However, the game play is constantly interrupted by the same “helper” messages, over and over again, 5 seconds at a time. Want to find some of the extra words? Be fully prepared for a deluge of messages telling you again and again that all x-length words (insert word length here) have been found. Accidentally touch any letter while thinking? Be prepared for a message that tells you to make words that fit an empty space (which is already obvious). Unfortunately, the constant and unnecessary messaging spoils the game play, interrupts game flow, and in the end is just plain annoying.

I enjoy most of the game. But the nonsense bonus words require me to use hints because they are usually literally not words. For a game like this, I would expect to develop my vocabulary... not clog my brain with non-words. I looked for a way, in the app, to understand what the game’s expectations are for this word, it there was nothing to click on for help. I saw a similar review and the response made it appear as if it were a glitch for that individual. That prompted me to leave this review. It is built into the game -it’s not a glitch. It’s a way to waste your coins so you can’t use them when you want them. So you either have to buy more coins or watch more ads.

I have played many games like this however this game is not relaxing it's very frustrating. Half the time it doesn't register when you slide your finger across the letters the other half is spent trying to figure out words I have to look up the definition of and in order to get these words you have to spend a ridiculous amount of coins that are extremely difficult to earn. 120 coins for hints and you only receive 25 coins when you finish a chapter and the daily challenge you don't even make 100 coins between the 2. I could not in good conscience recommend this game to anyone!

I have stopped playing it a few weeks after the changes in daily challenges. The new format is much harder than the old one. That wouldn’t be so bad. However very frequently and when you are almost done, the game shuts off and when you restart it, you have to start from scratch in a blank and completely different game. I refuse to waste more time on the same challenge. This is been happening every day lately and I am just thinking of erasing this game which one of my favorites I wrote to the developer. They responded with ....nothing Only that they do the best they can,,,,

I like the game it can be fun but as one of the reviewer said the gold coin words a pretty obscure and it’s not an every day language. I guessed mostly but did cave in a time or two. Words like “nug” (which means a nugget of the marijuana so unless you’re a pothead you would really know that), and “topi” (Indian word for hat). Again, a bit obscure for sure. And you have to spend 120 coins to get one later as a hint be at your only make two or three coins here and there to build up your bank. As I mentioned in the title there just seems to be too many ads after I finish one screen then I have to go to another add screen then I have to double tap that to get rid of it and even then you have to sometimes wait for 30 second timer to go out which again just eats up a lot of time gets frustrated make sure move onto a different Game. you know if you did every five ones wouldn’t be that bad but after everyone it just becomes real problem for me to continue to play to keep my interest.

I have been playing this game for quite some time now-with great enjoyment—except for one MAJOR flaw. Like others have said, there is a gold coin word that must be found before advancing to the next level. 9 out of 10 times, the words are nonsense.. try looking them up—you’ll see. They don’t exist! You can exhaust yourself trying every letter combo to solve the puzzle, or use up your coin stash getting hints for 120 coins each— and that my friends, is the reason for the inclusion of the ‘fake words.’ It is all a means to coerce you into purchasing coins.... The work around is to watch ads in exchange for coins, but a that’s a real time waster, (and awfully boring), watching the same content over and over, and over again. Honest words—even words from other languages, would be fair—but not the fictitious ones served up by the developers of this game.

This game like other word games are showing false advertisements. The ad shows the game where you guess the correct spelled word for example “I write or right the note.” Which is the correct word? Thinking this would be helpful for my daughter who is learning to read and spell, I downloaded this game. But not once have I seen this available on this game. I am seeing a lot if ads for other word fames similar yet each game is the exact same crosswords. To me this is definitely false advertisement. I played the game but I was hoping for the one that was advertised. Also the ads between the game can be disgusting. A game for ages 4+ and it has adult content that even adults don’t need to see. Give me a break. After this evenings ad that popped up, good bye game.

This is/was my “go to” morning and evening game. The basic game was fun, even though the bonus words were often based on slang and nicknames not familiar in the US. And then this morning you’ve changed everything. The daily bonus is completely blown up and not the relaxing morning brain wake up I expected. Just needed to vent before I delete it. 😡 So I’ve adjusted to the new daily game a bit, but the use of words that don’t exist in the English dictionary is frustrating. Where did you come up with “peared”? This has turned into a guessing game with nonsense words. And even if it’s the first word I’ve selected, I get the dreaded “you already found that extra word” message, apparently just to prevent me getting the acorns I’ve earned. Grrr.

There is an ongoing glitch within the game. Either invisible words or coin words that are repeat words and will only fill in using hints which caused coin usage on words already known. At first cs was either skipping the level or giving coins to use the hints. Never enough coins to bank. I’m in the 9000 levels and have never needed to purchase coin. Now I’m being told no more help unless I changed the difficulty to normal. Which I did...and the very FIRST level I’m hit with the dreaded repeat word. Now cs has never been quick. But now they are closing tickets so as to not do anything and leaving my new ticket for days. I’m really debating deleting the app. I don’t think it is worth all of this headache. I’m very disappointed in how a known glitch is being handled or not being handled depending on how you look at it.

I played this game every day, making sure to at least do both the morning & evening challenges. Now the game has been changed so I will no longer have the time to do that. The new format is difficult, & actually I am not certain I understand it. The challenge format is different and there are a lot of words. If you try to do the words with the stars, it can disrupt finding words that build in each other, as the stars will move when you guess other words. And it seems like there are a lot more words it doesn’t know/accept. I don’t understand the club concept, and it seems like it takes more time than I am willing to expend on the game. Very disappointing, will likely end up deleting this one.

Initially an AWESOME GAME. As one advances, the game becomes more difficult and is no longer based on English. Seriously, once my favorite word game, but now it has abbreviations from other countries, names of cities in other countries, currency used in Macedonia, as well as obscure scientific terms. Even words which are valid in one level are not accepted in other levels. Obviously, blatantly driven by greed in order to make players spend money for hints. UPDATE: I’m writing this on the same device I use to play. A few weeks after my initial review I was blackballed from league play. The game will not open leagues, stating there is no internet connection. Yes, uninstalled/reinstalled, no change. Apparently truthful negative reviews are not appreciated by Stupor Nutty Games. .
